Sasha held back tears as she heard her boss snap at her and growl about how she messed up the paperwork in the office.
"How come you always mess up?!" her boss screamed.
"I did the best I could," Sasha said, now holding back more tears.
"I would fire you if I had someone that could easily replace you!" he screamed even more.
"You didn't give me enough time to finish the report!" she said back.
"Stop making up excuses!" he growled. "FINISH IT BY TONIGHT!"
"But I am finishing up the reports from last week…." She said sadly.
"STOP MAKING EXCUSES!" the man screamed even more. "One more word and you're fired now get out of my sight!"
Sasha hung her head and walked out as fast as she could; she was sick to her stomach. She grabbed her bag as fast as she could and ran to her car and drove home.
At the mansion, Sasha poured herself some tea and wiped the tears from her face. Now that she knew what was happening with her job, she felt even more upset and depressed. As she was thinking, she heard Vamps and Whampire walk past.
"What's wrong, my precious?" Whampire asked. Sasha hung her head even more and explained what happened with her boss and how she was treated. Just hearing that made both brothers angry and upset. Now getting an idea in their heads, they looked at each other with devious expressions.
"Sasha, why don't you go and relax a while while Whampire and I head out for a bit?" he said.
"Where are you going?" Sasha asked.
"Not far. We'll be back," Vamps said, now pulling Whampire into the other room. As they walked away, Vamps gave Whampire a smirk. "How about we go and give Sasha's boss a little scare?"
"I was thinking the same thing," Whampire smiled.
"We won't terrify him, but we will give him a little reason to leave Sasha alone," Vamps smirked. "Let's move!"
And with that, the two flew out the window. As they did, Sasha went to lay over on the couch. Her eyes began to fill with tears once more and she felt like she was going to burst.
Meanwhile, in the Tickle Realm,
"Hmmmm…" Kumi said, now placing the twins in their cribs. "Adulato?"
"What is it?" he asked, now looking at her over his shoulder.
"Sasha," she said, her eyebrows knitting in concern. Adulato had a concerned look and then closed his eyes as well. He then opened them too and looked at Kumi.
"She's having a terrible night. We need to go and see to her." he said calmly.
"I agree. I'll go get her." Kumi said, now teleporting and getting Sasha and teleporting her to the room.
After a few minutes, Sasha appeared on Kumi's bed. She wasn't startled, but she was somewhat surprised as the two Lauhinians approached her.
"Sasha? Whatever is the matter?" Adulato asked, now getting on all fours and approaching her on the bed.
"You seem distressed about something," Kumi added.
"I just had a bad day. I don't want to talk about it," the human said softly.
"Hmmmmm…perhaps we can help you." Kumi smiled.
"No, it's really ok. I need to be heading back home." Sasha said.
"Ah, ah, ah. You won't be going anywhere. Listen, I have to go and get some items from the forest with Jocu. Why don't you two discuss about what happened?" Adulato said, now getting off the bed and heading out. "We can talk more later when I return, Sasha."
Sasha nodded and watched as he left the room. Once he was gone, Kumi gently nuzzled the side of Sasha's cheek because that usually made her giggle and laugh. But this time, she got nothing.
"Oh Sasha, please don't be sad…you usually always laugh at that." Kumi said, now seeing Sasha hang her head more. "Please tell me what's wrong."
"It was just a bad day today because of my boss. He always takes things out on me." Sasha said, now exasperated.
"Sasha…" Kumi said calmly.
"Maybe he's right." Sasha said sadly.
"Hold on, hold on. I don't like this coming out of you," Kumi said.
"But…" she started.
"No buts, Sasha. I don't like this at all." Kumi said. "Come and rest. Maybe once you get up we can talk about this more."
Sasha finally nodded and placed her head on the pillows. Kumi shivered at feeling the negative feelings and saw that the twins were also looking at Sasha in concern. Even as cubs, they could sense the sadness and gloom from her heart.
"Don't worry my darlings. We are going to get Sasha better in no time," she whispered, now holding their hands gently. She then got a bright idea and as she was thinking, Jocu walked in.
"I can feel her from outside. Do I need to step in?" he asked, now running a hand over Sasha's head. She had just fallen asleep.
"Well, I thought so but I also have a plan." She grinned.
"What?" he asked.
"I think I will let the twins have a crack at her. I feel like she needs them right now…" Kumi smiled.
"I agree,"Jocu chuckled, now seeing the twins look at Sasha more intently. "Perhaps they do need to get their experience."
And with that, they both smiled and looked at Sasha. She was going to be cheered up no matter what.
Later that night, Sasha felt something soft tickle her nose. She woke up and saw Kumi was the one tickling her nose with her feather wand. She smiled. "Hello, Sasha. Are you ready for our little tickle party?"
Sasha tried to move, but she couldn't get up. Her arms were tied to the bed posts while her feet were trapped in fuzzy stocks built onto the end of the bed.
"Do you like the stocks?" asked Kumi. "I made sure they were nice and fluffy so you'd be comfortable."
Sasha sighed. "I should have known. You're going to tickle me until I feel better?" she deadpanned.
Kumi shook her head. "Oh, no. This time, I have some little helpers."
Right on cue, Poppy and Ivy crawled onto the bed beside Sasha! Sasha gasped seeing the adorable little babies again.
"What?! Them?! But...they're just babies!"
"They might be babies, but they're still tickle monsters." said Kumi. "And they want to make you laugh and be happy!" The twins crawled over to Sasha.
Sasha was confused. How were these little ones going to make her laugh and be happy? She was about to say something, but when she looked at the twins, she stopped. Poppy and Ivy looked at her with their beautiful blue eyes and innocent smiles. Sasha's heart melted from their cuteness. They reminded her of two adorable kitten babies. When the twins started to coo and purr, Sasha gave in. "Awwwwww! Look at you wittle cuties!" Sasha was completely gushing over the twins.
Kumi grinned in success. Her plan was already working. Sasha was in awe of the twins' cuteness, countering her negative feelings. Because cuteness was the twins' greatest power. "Yes, aren't they cute?" Kumi mused.
"They're the cutest!" Sasha squealed. "They're so cute and cuddly! I just wanna snuggle them!"
"Very well." Kumi snapped her fingers and the twins made their next move. Poppy and Ivy moved in and snuggled their fuzzy faces against Sasha's cheeks.
Sasha started laughing both from joy and the tickly feeling of their fur. "Ahahahahahahahahahaha! Eheeheeheeheeheeheehee!"
"Well? Do you like their snuggles?" asked Kumi.
"Hahahahahaha! I love it!" Sasha laughed. "So cute!" She was drowning in their cute and cuddly charms. Poppy and Ivy giggled as Kumi sensed Sasha feeling better! Poppy crawled her way to Sasha's stomach. She lifted up the girl's shirt and snuggled her fuzzy face against Sasha's tummy. "Hey! That tickles!" Sasha squirmed around in laughter. "Get out of there, you little monster!" she said in a playful voice.
"Little monster?" said Kumi. She grinned her mischievous smile. "Oh, Sasha, you shouldn't have said that." Sasha gulped as Kumi came closer. "Don't forget, I can still tickle you as much as I want." She walked over to Sasha's trapped feet. "Let's see those cute little feet..." She glided her fingertips across the soles, making Sasha squeak. Kumi then used both hands to softly tickle Sasha's arches. The human giggled, trying not to laugh too hard.
"Heeheeheeheeheehee! That tickles!" Sasha squealed.
"Oh? It tickles?" Kumi tickled the human's feet a little faster, making Sasha explode with laughter.
"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! YEHEHES, IT DOES!" Sasha laughed out. Kumi tickled all over her feet. From her toes to her heels, it tickled everywhere for Sasha. "STAHAHAHAP!"
"Stop? Oh, I don't think I should." Kumi cooed. "You've been sad and grumpy all day. We're gonna tickle and tickle you until those grumpies go away."
As Kumi tickled Sasha's feet, Poppy and Ivy each tickled Sasha's armpits. Sasha's laughter elevated. "AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! N-NO MORE!" Sasha pleaded. "MY GRUMPIES ARE GOHOHOHOHONE!"
Knowing that Sasha needed rest, Kumi stopped. Sasha took in as much deep breaths as she can. Poppy and Ivy purred in concern. They gave Sasha little licks on her face. The touch of their soft little tongues were making Sasha smile. She looked up and saw Kumi smiling at her.
"So, are your grumpies really gone?" asked Kumi. "Should I give your belly a good tickle?" She wiggled her fingers in emphasis.
"Nononononono!" Sasha shook her head. "Anything but that! But..."
"But what?"
Sasha looked a little shy, she shifted a little. Kumi sat beside her. "What is it, muffin?"
"Well..." Sasha meekly avoided her eyes. "I...well, um..."
Kumi smiled and put her hand in Sasha's chin to make her look at the enchantress. "What is it, Sasha? Tell me..." She tickled Sasha under the chin.
"Okay! Okay!" Sasha giggled. Kumi stopped. "Do you think...we can all snuggle together?"
Kumi blinked before she laughed. "Of course we can!" She snapped her fingers and Sasha was freed from her binds. Sasha gently scooped Poppy and Ivy into her arms. "Come here, you little cutie wuties!" Sasha snuggled their cute, fuzzy faces. The twins giggled and snuggled in return.
"Ahahahahahaha! Oh, you're so cute and cuddly and sweet!" Sasha cooed. She hugged the loving twins. "Thank you so much for cheering me up!" She gave the girls a kiss on the forehead.
"What about me? I want to snuggle too!" Kumi's tails wagged in excitement.
Sasha chuckled and set the twins down. "Go ahead."
Kumi went right ahead and gently nuzzled Sasha's face. Much to her delight, Sasha giggled. "Yes! Yes! You really are all better!" Kumi then wrapped her arms around Sasha and tickled her face with her tails.
Sasha laughed as the tails tickled her face and ears. "Hahahahahahahaha! So fluffy!" she cackled.
Kumi laughed as Sasha laughed. The human was back to her happy, bubbly self. "I'm so glad you're all cheered up!" Kumi hugged Sasha.
"Thanks to you guys!" Sasha rubbed her tired eyes. "But now...I'm really sleepy from all that tickling." She let out a big yawn.
Kumi tucked Sasha back to bed. "Good night, Sasha." She looked at her daughters. "Give Sasha a kiss good night, girls."
Poppy and Ivy happily gave Sasha their good night kisses. Sasha beamed as she snuggled under the covers. She closed her eyes and fell to sleep instantly. Sasha did have a bad day today, but it didn't matter. Because she had great friends to turn her frown upside down and make her feel better again.
And Kumi and Adulato couldn't be more proud of their daughters. Poppy and Ivy were already splendid tickle monsters.
