My Alex Rider Fanfiction:

Chapter 1:

Mr Blunt and Mrs Jones sat in the office waiting for their number one agent to arrive. They had just called him and told him to get the bank immediately. Of course, this wasn't really a bank. It was the headquarters of MI6, Military Intelligence. Suddenly the phone began to ring.

"Hello Abigail," Mrs Jones said as she picked up the phone.

"Hello Mrs Jones. He's here," Abigail replied from the other end.

"Send him up."

As they waited, Mrs Jones popped a peppermint into her mouth while Mr Blunt just sat there looking Grey. There was a knock on the door as a young boy walked in. He had dirty blond hair and looked about fifteen, or would if it weren't for his eyes. His eyes were brown and would have been innocent once, but that innocence was long gone. Instead, it was replaced buy a sort of seriousness, in the way that can only be described as having seen too much. His eyes were way to old for his face, like he had aged decades instead of years. His name was Alex Rider.

Alex walked in and sat down in front of the desk. He waited for a few minutes as Blunt looked through a file. Then, as if only just noticing that Alex was there, he looked up.

"Good afternoon Alex. I expect that you're all caught up in school." Blunt said dully.

Alex looked up at him, his expression blank and observant. "Yes," he replied. "No thanks to you."

Blunt stared at him grimly. "We've decided to send you and your entire class to Brecon Beacons SAS training camp in Wales."

"WHAT?"

"You heard me. Scorpia has threatened to attack your school, and we figured that this would be the safest place for them to go, as well as you getting to have some extra training."

"What, how, when?"

"The teachers are going to announce it tomorrow at assembly, and a bus will arrive the following day at 7am sharp. We also expect you to keep your cover from the other students."

"And how am I supposed to do that?"

"It's simple. First of all, you're not going to train with the rest of your classmates as you're too "weak and sickly" for that kind of training. You're going to be training with other units while the rest of your class is with the other units."

"I can't believe this," Alex groaned as he rested his head in his hands.

Mrs Jones spoke up for the first time during the entire meeting. "Well, goodbye Alex. We hope you find your stay at the camp useful."

Alex stood up and walked to the door, slamming it shut behind him.

"Well, that went well."
