During the days where All-Might had just become the number one hero there was the hero called the Street Thrasher. People said he was a bit of an anti-hero but he got results, when suddenly he disappeared from heroics; what nobody knew was while he's style of heroics were rough he was not. Every time he patrolled the streets one things affected him, more than villainy and crime and that was the look on hopelessness on the youth he passed by. Whether it be a girl trying to get over a break up, a guy who was abused at home, a quirkless teenager looking to make life better for his family that were probably shamed by them. Each night he saw one of these types of kids he would go home and break down into tears thinking that he was a hero but he couldn't do anything for them, and it was on a particular day that the Street Thrasher disappeared and never resurfaced.

"Are you sure about this?" All Might as he and Midnight were walking with UA Class 1-A to a skate park

"Don't worry I know the owner" Midnight said

"But why are we doing this?" All-Might asked

"They've been having a rough time with everything's that has been going on, so why not take them here" Midnight said

"About time you guys showed up" a man said walking out the front, most of the kids were shocked that he looked like a grown up version of Kirishima, the only differences were that his spiky hair went to belong his shoulder rather than standing up and his eyes were blue. "Yo, nice to meet you guys I'm Akihito Kayama, and yes I am related to your teacher"

"He's my goofball of a half brother" Midnight said sighing before she glared at Akihito who messed up her hair

"Anyway welcome to the Grind Town, we have three types of skates for use here: normal roller skates, Roller Blades and Skateboards, now we have several areas, but there are some restrictions such as if you're using Roller Skate you have to stick to the rink, Roller Blades are to be kept to the either the rink or the street course, Skateboards are to be kept to the street course and the half-pipe. Okay?" Akihito asked to which the class replied in the positive. "Good now allow me to introduce my staff. First up we have Nico Shriobara, she's first aid here" Akihito said as a light pink haired woman wearing a white button shirt and cream vest, cargo skirt with a split up the right side and pink and black sneakers walked forward waving. "Okay next we have the big guy with the black and orange Mohawk" Akihito said as a walking wall of muscle stepped forward, adjusting his armless red sunglasses, another feature he had was the spike wrist bands and a heavy metal band on his tank top "This is Mad-Wolf he's in charge of equipment here, so go see him for your safety gear"

"Howdy" Mad Wolf said

"And this is Roxy" Akihito said as a girl their age walked forward, she had long vivid red hair, sparkling green eyes. She wore a white Bandeau styled top, a pair of baggy jeans with flames on them and a bandana

"Sup" she said smiling

"Now Roxy will be walking around to help anybody out okay?" Akihito asked

"Sure thing boss" Roxy said giving a small salute

"Now, go and have fun" Akihito said as the group went off to different areas

"It's good to see you like this" All-Might said

"Why's that?" Akihito asked

"Because of what you said to me last time we met" All-Might said

The girls quickly got their skates and entered the rink and were quickly zooming about laughing as they decided to play a game of tag, with the first fall going to Yaoyorozu who just simple laid on the cement laughing her back side off until Mina and Uraraka tried to help her up only to fall in a pile, after a moment they were back up on their feet just skating around the rink when they saw All-Might wearing roller skates and protective gear as he slowly made his way out on to the rink while trying not to do the splits, laughing the girls went over and helped their teacher who was not having the best of luck with these things

"These things are harder then I remember" All-Might muttered before he fell on his backside making the girls giggle

"Coming through" Midnight said gliding past the group

"Show off" All-Might muttered holding onto the wall before his feet slipped out again

"Sorry about that honey" Midnight said kissing his nose before gliding off again, All Might pulled himself up and held onto the wall again to see Aizawa just standing there

"Not one word" All-Might said making Aizawa shrug and walk off

"Whoa check out Midori" Mina said "You didn't use your quirk on him did you?"

"No" Uraraka said seeing her classmate

Izuku just stood in front of the half-pipe with his board in his hand looking at it before flashing back to the he first arrived here; it was just after the first week of middle school where he had been badly bullied again for being quirkless. The mocking laughter and the harsh jeers, it was enough for Izuku to just want to forget everything and just run away

"You okay kid?" a voice echoed in his head before he placed his board down and rolled into the half pipe remember as he face planted into the floor for the first time, before the owner of the voice came over to him quickly "Maybe we should start off with something easier hey kid?" the voice echoed in his head again as he got onto his board and kicked off with his foot getting some momentum and doing a set of back and forth moments until he had enough speed to ride up the half-pipe before feeling gravity bringing him back down to earth so he could ride up the other side further then he did on the previous side. "Not bad kid" the voice echoed as soon Izuku was clearing the top edge of the pipe by half a meter, landing cleanly and flying up the other side, stopping to balance on the lip before he tipped forward and went down the half pipe again while pulling a wheelie, landing smoothly and skating up the other, getting a bit more air allowing him to pull off a 720 before landing and continuing to skat

"Looking good there cowboy" Roxy said as Izuku finished the grind he was doing before he moved over to her and got off of his board

"Hey Rox" Izuku said

"'Hey'? is that all you have to say to me, you never call you don't write. I haven't seen you in months" Roxy said with a hand on her hip

"Sorry I've been busy" Izuku said

"I bet you have" Roxy said smiling slightly "Come here" she said softly pulling him in for a kiss "I've missed you"

"I know" Izuku said resting his forehead against her

"You Midoridude" Kirishima said running to him with a skateboard in his hand "Saw those sweet tricks" he said fist bumping the skater

"Thanks man" Izuku said

"No joke bro you were awesome" Kaminari said

"How are you so good?" Kirishima asked making Izuku flashback to the day he started skating

Flashback (Play Let Go Beau Young Prince)
It had been a bad day for Izuku since nearly all of his classmates had been taunting him about being quirkless, especially Bakugo he was leading the class as they did gym class making him the target during the dodge ball team; he was laughed at every time he had the ball thrown at him; not even his own team supported him and during normal classes he was told he was useless whenever he made a mistake after being called upon by the teacher. It didn't stop during lunch where he was thrown into a locker before the bell went making him late for class. Everything just made him want to break down and let everything okay

"You okay kid?" a voice asked making Izuku look up to see he was walking past the new skate park that had just opened up with the owner standing out the front

"no" Izuku answered truthfully making the owner frown

"You know I have a degree in youth counselling, so you want to talk?" he asked sitting down on a bench to which Izuku joined him and just suddenly started talking about the events of the day and the skate park owner just sitting there listening and giving small tidbits of advice every now and then to help Izuku. Once they finished talking the owner stood up "You skate kid?"

"No" Izuku said

"You want to learn?" the owner asked

"Why?" Izuku asked

"Because I learnt a long time ago that doing something else helps get rid of negative feelings and to me that was skateboard, which is why I opened this place up, in fact what just happened here with you is exactly why I opened this place up, a place where the youth can come in and talk about their feelings before letting their negativity out on half pipes, grinding rails, jumps and the like, whether it be on blades or a board, that is why this place exists and right now you look like you could use it" the owner said

"I think I should call mum first" Izuku said pulling out his phone.

"Whoa dude, I knew you were a late blooming but to get grief for it" Kaminari said

"Even from Bakubro" Kirishima said surprised

"Oh you mean Bock-ugo, that explosive chicken?" Roxy asked

"Wait, you know Bakugo?" Kirishima asked

"Oh yeah she was in our class back at middle school" Izuku said

"Though I didn't realise it until we here of all places" Roxy said

"Seriously?" the two guys asked

"Yeah, in fact it was rather cute, how we met" Roxy said

"You call it cute, I call it painful" Izuku mumbled embarrassed

"So what happened?" Kirishima asked

2nd Flashback (Play Song She's a Blast Beautiful Bodies)
It had been a couple of months since Izuku had started to learn how to skate under the tutelage of the owner of the skate park, who he learned was named Akihito, so he was spending a couple of hours of his weekend there practicing his tricks and general skating, deciding to take it to the street course, having just completed a 360 ollie over a jump he was about to jump onto a rail when he saw a girl with vivid red hair and dazzling green eyes wearing a black tank top and ripped jeans rollerblading on the same course, and since he was paying attention to the girl he collided with the rail he was trying to grind, which was about waist height making him come off his board and flop onto the ground back first, once he recovered he sat up

"That looked like it hurt big time" the girl said as she rolled over to him and leant on the grind rail

"I'm fine" he wheeze before coughing "I'm fine"

"Sure you are cowboy" she said "I'm Roxy" she said holding her hand out

"I'm Izuku" Izuku said being helped up

"Wait, Izuku as in Deku?" Roxy asked

"Oh great you know that nickname?" Izuku said irritated by it

"Well I didn't know what to call you...but I think I might stick to calling you Cowboy" Roxy said gliding away before kicking his board back to him, Izuku sighed before looking over to see Akihito smiling giving a small wingman nod and thumbs up

"Really?" Izuku said getting back on his board and trying the rail again

"And we've been friends since that day, though halfway through the year he finally maned up and asked me to be his girlfriend and I said yes" Roxy said leaning on Izuku making her turn red

"No way" Kaminari said before Kirishima shoved his elbow into Kaminari's stomach

"That dude has got to stop hanging out with Mineta" Kirishima said

"Who?" Roxy asked

"the class." Kirishima said how to describe their classmate

"Pervert" Izuku said

"Oh, one of those, well to be fair I was fairly smaller back in those days" she said bouncing

'No kidding, she's about the same size as Yaoyorozu, maybe a bit bigger' Izuku thought blushing a bit

"What are you thinking about?" Roxy said smiling

"Nothing" Izuku said

"You were" Roxy smirked making Izuku blush even more

"Deku?" Uraraka asked as she and the rest of the girls came over

"Those were some sweet moves" Ashido said

"Thanks" Izuku said

"I saw sure that Ochako had used her quirk on you because of the amount of air you were getting" Hagakure said

"Use of quirks is advised against here" Roxy said

"Well I'm kind of a three times skate champion" Izuku said

"WHAT!" the others shouted

"Yeah during middle school he won a couple of Junior Street Skating competitions" Roxy said "But then he started training for UA"

"Well, my quirk had just come in and I needed to see what it could do and train with it"

"Yet you broke you arm and leg during the entrance exam" Roxy said deadpanned "You're just lucky I didn't find out until after you passed" she said

"Ouch" Mina said

"Yeah a guy should never upset his girl" Kirishima said

"Wait what?" Uraraka said making her shocked causing Izuku wince

'I should have expected that, I knew she had a bit of a crush on me'

"He is kind of cute isn't he" Roxy said making Uraraka blush before leading her away from the group to talk to her.

Akahito was leaning on the rail with a cup of coffee in his hand while watching the students just having fun while a few were taking a break including one of them talking to Roxy about something

"Do you regret it?" Midnight asked

"Regret what, giving up scouring the streets at night, getting battered and then spending the next three days on the couch with a blood bag, and it also helps me keeps a promise I made to myself" Akihito said

"What do you mean?" Midnight asked as she watched Izuku performing tricks on the halfpipe with the others cheering

"One day after seeing one too many kids on the streets looking miserable I decided that I could help better talking with them and giving them a place to chill out and let them just forget the pressures of their lives" Akihito said smiling

"So is that why you gave up being Street Thrasher to become a councillor for those on the street, those like us?" Midnight asked

"In a way" Akihito said "But in a way, it's because sometimes heroes forget about the people in the world they're trying to save" he said smiling before taking the last sip of coffee before he pushed off

"So you going to get on yours" Midnight said

'Maybe" Akihito shrugged before he walked into his office and placed his mug on the small sink he had in there, turning around he saw his old Street Thrasher costume on the wall, the black and red leather costume kept him safe most nights he worked, his twin tonfa underneath with what he like to call 'Mr Smiley' which was a Number 8 pool ball on a small section of bungie with a smiley face painted over the 8. He sighed before he heard the cries of excitement and joy, sticking his head out he saw Izuku and Roxy on the street course while the entire Class 1-A was watching, smiling to himself he turned to his old costume "Why not" he asked

"Get her Deku!" Kirishima shouted

"Show him some girl power!" Mina shouted as pair lined up

"You ready for this?" Roxy asked

"Are you?" Izuku asked

"Yeah" Roxy said pecking Izuku's cheek making him blush

"GO!" Kaminari said to which Roxy dove into the street course via the quarter pipe first because of her distraction

"HEY!" Izuku snapped dropping in using the quarter pipe before he skidded to the left and used a jump to perform a flip, landing before catching up to Roxy who was performing a manual then comboed with a kickflip leading into a pop shove-it landing to an ollie, Izuku started his run by sliding down a railing switching to a grind halfway through landing in a fakie looking over his shoulder to see her he was going, looking to Roxy to see where she was only, only to feel something soft on his cheek, looking to see Roxy pulling back from kissing him

"Keep up" Roxy said as she weaved in and out of the cones that Akihito set up on her board, shrugging Izuku went into a 360 ollie with a kickflip and a wallride trick

"Not bad" Roxy said jumping down a small set of stairs before heading towards a quarter pipes

"Out of the way rookies" Akihito said dressed in his old Street Thrasher uniform as he landed on a hoverboard going full bore up the quarter and flipping over the two teenagers and moving off, the two were awestruck at the sight of the former street level hero. "Thought I wouldn't be back, well tough street" he said jumping over a bench while his board when underneath, locking his feet back into place as he used the quarter-pipe to wall ride before pulling out Mr Smiley and swinging it up his board while he was in the air from an aerial, landing and making his way back up the quarter pip to the start where he stepped up and put Mr Smiley back on his belt "Yo" he said flipping a two fingered salute to the teachers

"Show Off" All-Might said making Midnight roll her eyes before pushing All-Might making him over causing her laugh.

"Alright guys time to pack up and head home" Midnight said as she waved happily to the student who were just chilling around the various tables which had several bowls of hot chip and wedges, "That includes you too Romeo" she shouted out making the group laugh as Izuku just blushed

"So you going to be around from time to time?" Roxy asked

"I guess" Izuku said smiling as he kissed her one final time before grabbing his board and walking over to the bus. Akihito walked over to Roxy with an energy drink in his hand smiling

"What is it?" Roxy asked looking at her boss

"He's a lot different than when I first met him" Akihito said "Back then he looked like he was scared of most things and would break over the smallest things, but now he looks like he could take on the entire world and come out of it with nothing but a scratch or two" Akihito said

"I guess" Roxy said

"Either way, the world is a better place with him in it" Akihito said smiling as he threw the empty can away before walking back to his office, pausing to look at the mask of Street Thrasher again smiling about what he did.

G'day Guys Grizz here now I can explain, I was inspired to write this by the announcement of the latest Tony Hawks skateboarding games since I was fairly into them during my school days and a bit afterward, they were good games especially Tony Hawks Underground and Pro Skater 2. Anyway since I heard about that I wanted to write something where Izuku was a skateboarder and I figured I'd make a one shot of it unless you guys like it then I'll turn it into a series.

Now the character of Akihito was based off of the fact there is no character like that, there is no on screen councillors giving aide to the youth; the only medical professionals you see are doctors and Recovery girl. Also he's hero persona was inspired by those like Red-Hood, Nightwing, Daredevil etc (basically a street level hero, and I might do something with his character in a different fic which is going to be a bit of fun)

moving onto Roxy who was an OC I've been trying to fit in to something for awhile now and I figured I'd fit her in here as Izuku's girlfriend that he met during school mainly due to the fact that is the only place where I could fit her in, sure I could make her a UA student but nearly everyone's OC are linked to UA in a way so my OC is linked to the middle school days of Izuku

One last thought before I sign off, and that is I wish everyone no matter who they are, where they are and what they're doing whether your out and about or still in lockdown from the current crisis a safe and happy time, and please if you are having trouble with life talk to someone about it, okay guys and girls
