Wha..?

Where am I?

A light was in my eyes. I couldn't see anything. I just couldn't see. But then, there was ground, and grass and trees and stone and hills! Where was I? Who am I?

Pancake...

P-Pancake? Isn't that like a food or so? Is that my name? I felt my throat really dry and parched. I looked for a pond. I then found one! Water! I need water! I quickly crawled up to the pond, ready to drink when I saw a reflection. I panicked. It was a orangish yellow bunny with their left eye red and their right eye pink. I looked closer. I waved a hand in front of it, and it... waved back? Then I realized: that was me. I am the bunny! I then went to drink the water, feeling it refresh my throat as I cupped my hands and drank from my hand cups. I noticed that I had a light blue button on my right hand. I looked at it for a bit until I heard a splashing sound. I looked to my right and saw a blue blob. It was cute! I went to touch it, but as my finger hit it, I felt it sting. I panicked.

"Not cute!" I shouted.

I was surprised. My voice was so sweet! I sounded like an angel... I think... I backed away from the slime, but as I did, I saw more blobs! This was a nightmare! I stood up, but my legs felt numb. I stood like ababy, still learning their first steps. I saw one come up to me.

"Use your sword!" a male's voice said.

I look at a shadow, but the sun blocked my view. I was confused. It looked like a... person?

"Wha-what sword?" I asked, confusion in my tone.

"Press that button on your right hand! It opens your inventory!" the man said.

I looked at my right hand. Inventory? I'm now really confused. I followed his instructions and pressed the button on my right hand. I then saw a weird hologram screen pop up, and it startled me. I saw three icons: a brown axe, a brown pickaxe, and a brown... sword! I pressed it, hoping that would work, and thankfully it did. The screen transformed into that sword, and I held it in my right hand. I looked at the blob, and held the sword in front of me, aiming it at the blob like I was gonna fire a laser beam.

"Back away, fowl demon!" I shouted

The slime bumped into the sword, and it bounced back, a number appearing over it that vanished right away. I was confused. What is this, a game?

"Miss rabbit, come here!" the same voice said.

I looked at the man's shadow, and ran up to it, hoping he'd get me outta here. Once I reached him I saw his figure: he has orange spiky hair and a white shirt and blue jeans. He then ran to a house, and I followed. We ran inside, the man shutting the door behind us. I saw his house's interior. It had a table and chair, with a stone fire thing and a shorter table. I noticed the man looking at me.

"Nice to see you. I'm Maxwell, also known as The Guide!" the man said.

"I-I'm Pancake..?" I replied.

"Pancake? Isn't that a food?" the man, who I assumed was Maxwell, asked.

"At least, I think I am..?" I said, not sure how to respond.

"Well, Pancake, I feel that you may need my help!" Maxwell smiled.

"Thanks?" I said, confused.

Maxwell tilted his head. "You look tired. Night is coming. Come sleep on my bed; it's upstairs." he said, going to the stairs that I never noticed.

I hesitantly followed him, hoping he wasn't going to harm me.He does seem nice, but is he?

I laid in the bed, unable to sleep. I felt as though I shouldn't sleep, but I need rest, right? I looked out the window, seeing the night time sky. It's so... beautiful. I wanted to stare at it all night, but finally, sleep overcame me, and I closed my eyes.

Tomorrow is another day...
