I know this is a new story and I have a lot of stories but whenever I watch something I get a sudden motivation to write a story about it so since I'm watching Game of Thrones I figured I'd write about it. Anyway I haven't yet decided if I want Percy to be a leader or a follower yet in this story. Leader meaning he would create a new house with his own kingdom to rule. Follower meaning he would follow one or several of the already existing houses and just be more of a wanderer so to speak. This is more of an introductory chapter so any reviews on which he should be would be taken into consideration, but you'd have to review soon before the next chapter comes out.

Percy sat on a nice couch in the throne room of Olympus, with his friends who fought all around him. A week after the war with Gaea, the demigods had been gathered to the throne room to be rewarded. On his left was his lovely girlfriend Annabeth, and on his right were Jason and Piper. All the demigods had plush couches to sit on courtesy of Apollo, who thought the "awesome demigods who saved the world" would like to sit instead of stand for a couple hours. Leo sat with Calypso, who shocked Percy when he saw her, next to Frank and Hazel.
For now the demigods idly chatted among themselves waiting for the ceremony to start. Jason was telling the four of them about the first time he realized he had a dong (Don't ask how they got onto this topic). "And then after my shit I looked down and realized I had this weird thing attached to me! So I did the most logical thing and ran out of the bathroom yelling 'Mom I think an alien is attached to me!' Then she was like 'honey, that is- '" "Demigods of Olympus!" Jason was interrupted by his father calling for all the demigods' attention. Percy, obviously being intrigued by the story mouthed to Jason 'later' who nodded.
Zeus continued "As gods we sometimes find ourselves accused of crimes. This is one of these times. I will start by apologizing for closing Olympus at the start of the Second Giant War. I admit that this hindered our ability to warn you demigods of the incoming danger and leaving you to defend yourselves against an unknown threat was unjust." Percy could honestly say he was shocked that the king of the gods just apologized, and even said they committed a crime. "For this, we are truly sorry. We will attempt to repay you through several means given as rewards to the camps in collection. First, a portal will be established to connect the two camps. Second, we have chosen to allow more frequent trips to Olympus by both camps in order to establish trust, and let the camps know about the events on Olympus. Third and finally, to meet popular demands and requests, we shall allow the camps to choose the song they wish to hear on the elevator up to Olympus." Several cheers were heard at the final gift. "Now each parent would like to award specific demigods their rewards for their efforts in defeating Gaea."
Zeus' form flickered before he became Jupiter "I will start with my son. Jason Grace!" Jason stood from his spot next to Percy and walked to the foot of his father's throne. He bowed then came back up, smiling. "For being one of The Seven and sailing across the world to face the Giants, the Gods have agreed to make you a minor god, and hand to the King of Olympus." Jason stammered out an "I accept your reward" before strolling back to his seat beaming. Piper smiled at him and squeezed his hand when he got back.
Venus, barely containing her excitement, let out a squeal and yelled "Piper Mclean!" Piper stood from Jason's side and bowed to her mother. "For being one of The Seven and sailing across the world to face the Giants, the Gods have agreed to make you a minor god as well. You will also be an ambassador between the camps, settling disputes peacefully when necessary." Piper smiled at her mother and said "I accept" before heading back to her seat, meeting an equally as happy boyfriend.
Vulcan stood and in his gruff voice bellowed "Leo Valdez." Leo quit tinkering with something that looked suspiciously like a bomb and walked up to his father and bowed, smiling lightly. "For being one of The Seven and sailing across the world to face the Giants, the Gods have agreed to make you a minor god. You will also be allowed to work in my forges whenever you want." Leo, looking thrilled, said "Super-Sized McShizzle would love to accept your offer," before heading back to his seat with an evil glint in his eye.
Mars stood and announced "Frank Zhang." Frank let go of Hazel's hand and walked forward to his father's throne, where he bowed. "For being one of The Seven and sailing across the world to face the Giants, the Gods have agreed to make you a minor god. We shall also free your fate from the piece of wood which binds you." Frank blinked, surprised, before saying "I accept" and walking back to his spot with Hazel, wrapping his arm around her.
Pluto stood from his chair and spoke out "Hazel Levesque." Hazel, albeit reluctantly, removed Franks arm and walked to where her father was seated, bowing when she got there. "For being one of The Seven and sailing across the world to face the Giants, the Gods have agreed to make you a minor god. I shall also remove the curse place upon the metals you summon. She smiled widely and said "I accept" before heading back to her seat with Frank, almost insisting he put his arm back around her.
Pluto's form changed to Hades when he spoke the name "Nico DiAngelo." Nico walked from the shadows to where his father remained standing and bowed. "For returning the Athena Parthenos to Camp Half Blood and preventing a civil war between the camps, the Gods have agreed to make you a minor god. You shall also be my personal bounty hunter for hunting down escaped souls and returning them to the Underworld and will be my assistant in running the Underworld." Nico nodded and strode back to his spot in the shadows.
Bellona, who stood to the side, walked forward and announced Reyna Avila Ramirez-Arellano. Reyna stood and bowed in front of her mother, her face stoic as ever. "For returning the Athena Parthenos to Camp Half-Blood and preventing a civil war between the camps, the Gods have agreed to make you a minor god. You shall also be a permanent Praetor of Rome until you decide otherwise." She let out a small smile and said "I accept" before walking back to her seat.
Athena stood and announced "Annabeth Chase." Percy squeezed her hand and sent her a large smile when she stood up. Demigods looked toward her as she passed. "For being one of The Seven and sailing across the world to face the Giants and participating in two great prophecies, the Gods have agreed to make you a minor god. You will also oversee the reconstruction of Camp Half Blood. Finally, you will be the architect of a new project of Olympus called Project Haven. You will be allowed to design and assist in constructing a new city next to Camp Half Blood for demigods. It shall be the Greek version of Camp Jupiter and will provide residence for older demigods of Camp Half Blood who have deserved their rest and can either live immortal or mortal lives in Haven. Annabeth cried out "I accept!" before running back to Percy to hug him, tears in her eyes. "This is your chance to make your lasting mark on the world" he told her. Her tears stained his shirt as they embraced.
Finally, Poseidon stood from his throne. He banged his trident on the ground, letting out a resounding clang that echoed the room. "Perseus Jackson!" he boomed. Not a single sound was heard throughout Olympus as they watched the Hero of Olympus detach himself from his girlfriend's arms and walk to his father's throne. His footsteps echoed as he walked, and everyone could see him twirling his famed sword between his fingertips. He bowed down before Poseidon stopped him. "You do not need to bow to anyone, no matter who they are." Percy smiled up at his father and rose. "For being one of The Seven, sailing across the world to face the Giants, being the subject of a great prophecy, and being the Hero of Olympus, the Gods would be honored to name you the 13th Olympian God." Poseidon smirked at his son, already knowing the answer. The entire hall gasped at the prospect of Percy becoming an Olympian forever. Percy looked back toward his friends' shocked faces, but most importantly he looked at Annabeth's knowing smile. She also already knew his answer, and he winked at her. Turning around, Percy said "I am grateful for your generous offer, but as you might have guessed, I have to refuse." The entire hall erupted in cries of protest at his response. Ares was yelling "Cream the punk and force him to accept!" while Leo was yelling "Percy you crazy bastard!" Poseidon rolled his eyes at the cries and boomed "Silence!" at the top of his lungs, which rose above all other voices. "Perseus, I assume you at least want some gifts from the Council, so we will grant them as long as it is within our power."
"I would, father. I want Hades and Hestia to have their thrones returned to them, as they were wrongfully taken." The Gods in question looked at him in surprise, and while Hestia ran at him and hugged him, Hades just simply nodded in respect. "I would also like everyone who has died in the war to be brought to Elysium as fast as possible," he sent a pointed look toward Hades who snapped and said "Done." "This one is more of a request, and I understand if it is not possible, but I would like all the campers of Camp Half Blood and Camp Jupiter to have one day with their brothers and sisters who fell during the war." Zeus had a thoughtful look and responded with "I will see what we can do about that." Percy continued "I wish that the ancient law that prohibits the Gods from visiting with their children be revoked, and that the Gods must spend one day a week with their children at each camp." Zeus smiled and said "We have been waiting on a request from a champion because we cannot do so on our own, so now it is done. We will not just be spending one day with our children." "And finally, I wish to have the same immortality of the Hunters of Artemis, so I am not restricted by the ancient laws," Percy finished.
"That shall be granted with ease," Poseidon stated. "And with the end of our rewards ceremony, I would like to present the Nine Muses! May this night be a night to remember for Gods and demigods alike!" Poseidon clapped and tables filled with food and drinks filled the throne room and spread all over Olympus. Decorations spewed out of nothing to cover the mountain and the songs could be heard from everywhere.

Percy wandered Olympus doing anything and everything during the party. The Gods really had gone all out this time. The Nine Muses played any song you wanted to hear, so it was different for everybody. If Percy was being honest, the large crowds had slightly terrified him. Gods and demigods came to chat with the Hero of Olympus, congratulating him or thanking him for his generous gifts to both camps.
At one-point Artemis approached him while he stood in a beautiful garden filled with Moonlace. The surreal flowers glowed in the full moon above, as they reached out to absorb its light. "I thought the Hero of Olympus would be more excited for a party made almost especially for him," she stated.
He smiled. "I appreciate the gesture milady. However contrary to popular belief, I don't like huge gatherings especially if they are celebrating me. I would prefer a smaller gathering of just those closest to me," he told her.
She looked at him quizzically, before voicing what had been on her mind for a long time now. "You really are not like any other male demigod I've ever met. Anybody else would be getting drunk and making stupid decisions." He chuckled lightly at that. "Perseus you never cease to amaze me. But I must admit your refusal of turning down becoming an Olympian is almost downright idiotic. Most people would sell their soul for even the slightest chance of that offer."
Percy frowned at that. Sure, he was tempted by the offer. But he was never after power, only the chance to be with his Wise Girl forever. "I never wanted this power. I never wanted this life, of running for all my childhood, only to discover I had to fight for my life when I wasn't running." Percy glanced around him at the people singing and dancing, just enjoying the presence of each other, knowing that they were all safe. "But I must admit that after all the running and the fighting, everything turned out okay. This life also taught me to appreciate what I have and enjoy the small things. After experiencing all of this, I would never trade my life for any other, no matter who I could be. Because what I am now is one of the best things I will ever be. I'm not sure if you even understand what I'm saying. You're a God." Percy cracked a smile. "Life doesn't get much better than being a God."
Artemis studied him during his speech. She noticed the way he smiled when he talked about his experiences, no matter how horrifying they were. She knew that for every horrible event that happened in life, there was an excellent one that trumped it. All the bad could be countered by all the good. It created the balance of life. "I think I know exactly what you're talking about," she said before walking away from him. Artemis stopped at the entrance of the garden and looked back at Percy. Smiling, she allowed the moonlight to reach out to him, enveloping him. It seeped into his skin, making his eyes glow a bright silver before they settled back into their sea green. She looked at the first man who had earned her blessing, before finally turning away and walking back to the party.

Now he was at the center of the entire party, dancing and laughing at the horrible dance moves everybody had. Though he would admit he didn't look much better. He caught Apollo trying to sashay his way to him, with a certain gleam in his eye. "Hey Perce, I gotta talk to you!" he shouted above the crowd. Percy looked at him confused before gesturing to the nearby drinks table. Apollo nodded.
"Grover I'll be right back. And watch where you point those horns!" Percy said before walking off. When he got to the table he saw Apollo trying to see how many shot glasses of Nectar he could fit in his mouth before he threw them all up. Percy counted 23 before he spewed the godly drink all over the floor and the people cheering him on. They only laughed and kept dancing. Percy figured he would interrupt before he saw how many shots of something else he could fit in his mouth. "Apollo you said you wanted to talk?"
Apollo spotted him and blinded Percy with the smile from his teeth. "You are quite the man! I thought Achilles was cool and all, but you really have him beat in the awesominess category." He figured "awesominess" wasn't a word but decided to ignore that. "Anyway I wrote you a haiku to celebrate you!"
Percy groaned. "Apollo that really isn't necessary I prefer to enjoy this night."
"Nonsense! Everybody likes my haikus!" Apollo ignored Percy's protests and continued anyway. "Percy is so cool, he kills all of the bad guys, and Apollo helps him." Apollo looked pleased at his new work of art.
"The last line is 6 syllables" Percy told him.
"Hmmm… is it? I'll have to fix it later then. But for now I wanted to give you my blessing so you can woo the ladies and be even more cool." Apollo winked. "Trust me, there is no better blessing than mine. Plus, maybe it will help with your horrendous archery skills?"
Percy looked shocked at this blunt offer. "Will you do it anyway even if I don't accept?" Percy asked, to which Apollo nodded. Percy sighed. "Then I guess go ahead, though I think nothing will help my archery." Apollo gave another blinding smile and raised his hands. A golden glow came from the palms of his hands and twirled around Percy like a snake, before slithering into his eyes, which glowed golden for a minute then returned to normal. "Thank you, Lord Apollo," Percy said sincerely.
"No problem man, it was my pleasure. Now I need to go and find myself more nectar or women," Apollo said before nodding to himself and wandering off back into the crowd.

Percy walked alone on the streets of Olympus, needing a break from the action. The moonlit city looked desolate and almost unrecognizable because everybody was at the party. Wares hung from store entrances ready to be sold the next day. Ovens were cooling down for the day, ready to be fired up tomorrow to make more pastries. It was here that Hades walked up to Percy. "Perseus" he said in greeting. Percy bowed his head is response. "You've done me a great service in returning my throne. I know you wish not for me to repay you, but I'll do so anyway. First I would like to give you my blessing." Percy began to protest but was interrupted. "You cannot say no to this offer, so don't even try. Also, I would like to return the Curse of Achilles to you, without the pain. Your vulnerable point will be the same as last time. Finally, a task is coming for you whether you like it or not. Zeus will demand it of you, and you will have no choice but to accept. For this quest, however, I will make you an immensely powerful figure. I can do this by giving you these." Hades handed Percy a large sack, filled with what looked to be scaled eggs, ranging from many different colors. "Where you're going, dragons are a prominent figure. You must keep these a secret while you're there, as to have even 1 dragon egg will make you a powerful person. I have given you 5."
Percy choked when he heard that. "You're giving me five dragon eggs! For free?" Hades nodded. "I honestly do no know what to say to any of this. But can you please tell me what this quest is about at least? Anything that needs dragons can't be good," Percy requested.
Hades shook his head sadly. "Zeus has forbidden we even talk about it, but I am older than him, so I can do what I want." Percy chuckled at Hades' words. "Now I take my leave. Do not waste my gifts Perseus. You are a good man, and I would hate to see you killed." With this, Hades touched his finger to Perseus' head and the shadows reached out. They wrapped around him like vines around a tree, before seeming to accept him and soaking themselves into his skin. His eyes were a dark black and looked like they could suck the very soul out of a person if they wanted to. Then they returned to normal and Percy blinked and saw Hades had already disappeared into the shadows.

After Percy's talk with Hades, he was confronted by yet another god he was surprised to see. Hephaestus lumbered toward him in his odd form. When he got to Percy, he towered over him, having a good foot and a half on him. Percy only looked at the large man. "I plan on making this short boy, I have things to do. You helped me get my forge back, even if you awoke the worst beast known to man or God with it. You have also helped my son stay alive during this Second Giant War and for that I am also grateful. I have made you a full set of armor, and another sword. Your current sword, Anaklusmos, is actually Celestial Bronze infused with Olympian Steel making it a very worthy weapon." Percy was confused at this. "Basically, your sword is partially made from the same materials as your fathers trident, or your uncle's Master Bolt." Now Percy's eyes were wide, and he had to almost pick up his jaw from the floor. "I will now give you an identical copy. However this one is made from only celestial bronze infused with mortal steel, so you can now harm mortals for your upcoming task. The balance is the same, and its name is Aivine, or Maelstrom. The armor is made the same as your sword Riptide. Celestial Bronze infused with Olympian Steel. It is almost impenetrable by any blade. Your armor is based off Ancient Greek designs and shouldn't be too far off from your normal armor." Hephaestus finished.
Percy could barely breathe and managed to stutter out "Thanks" before sitting down.
Hephaestus smiled. "You have been challenged throughout your entire life and always come out on top. Instead of being an arrogant bastard as Heracles is, you have remained true to yourself. That is good. You'll need to know yourself if you're to compete with the snakes soon." Percy was back on his feet now and frowned at those words. What the hell could this challenge be? "Your armor will be disguised as what you mortals would call a sweatshirt, and the sword will look like a ring. They are enchanted to always return to you like your current sword." Hephaestus told him.
"Your gifts are honestly more than what is needed. I would have defended your son anyway. He can be a bit crazy sometimes, but he is just like the rest of us demigods." Percy admitted to Hephaestus. Though he would never say those words to Leo, or else he would never hear the end of it.
Hephaestus smirked. "And that is why they are your gifts" he said before flashing out in a column of fire.

Percy was finally too tired to go on as was Annabeth, so they were making their way to the elevator. Waiting for them were 2 gods, neither of which surprised them. Hestia and Poseidon stood watching them get closer, and when Percy was there Hestia pulled him aside. "I wanted to thank you. I've not had my throne in centuries ever since I gave it up for Dionysus," She started.
Percy bowed to her and said "There is no need to thank me. I did it because it was the right thing to do, and you are my second favorite God. No offense, of course."
She waved him off, "None taken. But either way I want to give you my blessing. I wish I could offer you more but I'm not the most well-known goddess for this sort of thing," she frowned. "I've never really had a demigod take any second thoughts about me until you. When I saw you that day you arrived at Camp Half-Blood, I knew you were something special. You did not disappoint."
Percy smiled fondly. He'd forgotten all those years ago when he saw a child tending to the Hearth. That day was so crazy it was the least of his worries. It felt like a millennia ago he killed that damn bull and started his journey. "I'm glad I didn't. Thank you for your blessing. I feel like I've gotten half of the Gods' blessings today, but I'm excited to see what yours has to offer."
Hestia reached out and grabbed his hand. Flames traveled across from her fingertips and up his arm. They danced along his skin, giving him a tickling sensation, before stopping at his eyes which glowed a bright red orange. The flames flowed into his eyes and just as quick as it had started it stopped, and she pulled her hand away. "I hope it serves you well. And remember, there's always a place for you at the hearth," she told him before disappearing in a gentle flame.
Percy walked back to his father and Annabeth where his father gave him a bone crushing hug. Pulling away, his father was smiling. "I admit I haven't been the best father. I claimed you mostly so you could clear my name. But I must say that was one of my biggest regrets. You didn't need me to claim you. You've made quite a name for yourself without my help. I am truly honored to call you my son."
"Well I think my father did assist me in making that name. After all, how could I be Perseus Jackson, son of Poseidon without you?" Percy laughed with Poseidon. Annabeth just looked on and smirked at the two idiotic family members. "I think I'm just as honored to call you father. You're one of the only Gods I think are genuinely good. You may make bad decisions but its all in good intentions. That's what I think I got from you and my mom. You both made me into who I am."
Poseidon almost cried at that. "I've removed certain limitations on your power. I've never given my children all the power possible, only restraining it, ironic as that is. But you've proved yourself worthy enough to hold all of it." Poseidon grew more serious. "You are a good man Percy. A better man than I think I've ever been. And its hard for a good man to be a leader, to be confident in themselves and make the hard decisions. You can restrain yourself when necessary and have mercy whenever possible. But you also know when to be ruthless to defend those you love. Those are things every person should strive to be. Good luck in the coming obstacle. I know Hades has told you a little about it. I'll tell you this now though. In that place there are no Gods. Your power will not be shared. Which means your power be increased a hundred-fold. It will be hard to control within you, but you must to avoid destruction. If you were to let go it would be like a nuclear explosion. So please, do not let go." Poseidon warned his son one last time and then vanished in a sea breeze, back to the ocean.
Percy's eyes were wide at that. He looked over at Annabeth who looked just as worried. The only land where there were no gods was Alaska right? He could manage that easily enough. "Come on lover boy. If we only have a bit longer to be together than let us try to catch up on the last year in one night okay?" Annabeth told him before walking into the elevator. Realizing what that meant Percy almost fell trying to get into the elevator fast enough.
(*)(*)(*)
Percy woke up the next morning with a familiar sensation, and it wasn't a good one. The birds were too quiet, and the sun was a little too dull for it to be a good day. Looking around his cabin, he noticed Annabeth curled up next to him snoring along without a care. So far it was fine. He got up and stretched out his stiff back. He took a shower, put on some khaki shorts and Hephaestus' sweatshirt, and got ready for whatever hell was about to happen. His motto was that if you knew something bad was going to happen, make sure you've at least had a shower and brushed your teeth before it happens. Then he noticed a couple things on his desk, that were certainly not there when he went to sleep. One was a note, the other was a pouch, and the last was a jar of blue candy. He raised his eyebrows at the last item but checked out the note first.
Perseus Jackson,
You've been tasked with another quest. This one not of our world. You will travel to a world without Gods to save them from a fate not made for them. It will be a difficult task and will take time. However, less time will be spent here than there so your loved ones and friends will not leave you while you're gone. According to the fates, we are not allowed to tell you what this fate is, but you will know with time. While you're there you will have another task. As written before, there are no Gods in this place. While you're there, you must try your hardest to instill the belief of the Olympians into the people. Every entity on Earth has many who know their name, and some who believe in them. However in this place they have no name. The belief in our Gods has passed in that time so the Gods have faded. We request you make them believe in our Gods again. If you succeed than they will return to that world from the realm of the faded. From then on it is up to them to keep themselves alive. You will not have any help on this quest, and as soon as you finish reading this note it will burn up. When it finishes burning up you will be teleported to that world. On that world there are many places you are needed in similar times to allow you to get information. So we have put an enchantment on you to make you be where you are needed most for your benefit and the people's benefit. We will confront you when your original task is done and proceed from there. Now you need to hurry and get your items before you're teleported. In the pouch is their currency, and you have no limit on it.
Zeus, King of the Gods.
Perseus panicked at the last words as the note started slowly burning away from top to bottom. He snatched the pouch of coins and stuffed it into his pockets. He grabbed his annual quest backpack filled with items he would need for a quest, already packed in case of an emergency, which this was. Then he grabbed the sack of dragon eggs and slung them over his shoulder, remembering Hades' words to keep them a secret. Finally he ran to the bed, noting the note was almost gone. "Annabeth wake up!" he shouted. He shook her arm and messed up her hair to awake her. She began to stir but it was too late. He disappeared with a pop, and Annabeth woke to an echo of Perseus calling her name, and a pile of ashes on his desk.
