Author's Note: Welcome to my seventh story known as The Insightful Dark Prince of the Quincy. So yes, I decided to do a Bleach Story but with my twists and turns added in as their will also be adult scenes but only when the time calls for it. As I'm of writer, who likes to focus on plot, as much will be revealed further into the story. Now I hope I do a good job, and present you all with an enjoyable story though obviously some might not like it. So please give fair criticism, and don't judge a book by it's cover, or in this case, the first few chapters as it will get better the further in we go. So without anything else to say, let's get into this story.

Chapter 1: Death & Strawberry, The Sword of Fate Is Set In Motion

The Human World. The Material World, and otherwise known as the Realm of the Living. Where Humans, Fullbringers, Quincy, and Pluses reside.

Soul Society. The Spirit World. Where both the Shinigami reside, and most Souls dwell until they are reincarnated into the Human World.

Hueco Mundo. The Realm of the Hollow World that lies in between both the Human World and the world of the Soul Society. Where both Hollows and Arrancar usually reside due to not being able to crossover into Soul Society, or having either lost their hearts to despair or regret for various reasons.

And In such a world as this, there lies many stories…

Both of Loss…

In a cemetery, a young boy who possesses spiky orange hair stands before the grave of someone that he held dear to his heart. Tears falling from his eyes, as the rain came down all around him.

...and Solitude.

Here two figures of the same person are shown, but with obvious changes. One that represents the figure of their former self in the form of a person who wears square glasses, accompanied with soft eyes.

While the other stands next to the former, representing what they've evolved into in the form of a person that now possesses menacing eyes, now accompanied by swept back hair with a strand hanging down their face.

Force. Opportunity. Promise.

On a small hill, six figures stand overlooking the area below them while wearing all black cloaks with hoods obscuring their faces. All ready to begin putting their little mission that they have planned into effect. As the first individual of the group stands at the front, with the second individual using the former as an armrest.

While both the third and fourth individuals of the group stand not far behind them. Leaving the fifth individual of the group to stand not too far away with folded arms. As the sixth individual sits on a small boulder, pretzel style with their arms folded.

Enemy. Revenge. Transcendency.

Sitting in a throne room with one large banner behind the seat of power, a tall individual with a long face, broad chin, and pronounced cheekbones accompanied by long black hair sits comfortably for the moment.

Waiting in calm preparation of what they already know is to come in the future.

Justice. Responsibility.

Floating in the air, high above the ground are eight powerful individuals. All of which possess serious expressions on their faces while ready to do battle against their common enemy.

Protection. Love.

In the middle of a small field at the time of sunset, a couple stand together embracing each other in a warm while very intimate hug. Forgetting the world around them, as the female individual of the couple felt safe in the arms of her lover.

...and as such they all collide into one for various reasons of their own.

As this is a story where the wills of the many collide.

About how those with gifted potential, and added power have the will to use it,

Standing before a towering and blazing flame, stands a much older orange haired warrior looking on into the flames with a serious gaze.

Though not without a certain black energy with a red outline arcing around his body.

And how the already powerful seek even greater power beyond what they already possess.

In a forest, a very intelligent looking individual stares at a bluish-purple orb with a satisfied expression plastered on their face.

Where the fate of the worlds hang between leaning towards balance, or falling utterly towards a state where they begin to collapse all into one.

Inside a large room, a very large hourglass sits in the middle. While at the same time two different energies flow within it, as some of the hourglass is empty.

So the story has supposedly gone for the most part.

Then again most things in this world aren't what they're made out to be...

Which is why this tale isn't only all about my world…

Actually this tale is about how I became known as…

- Hueco Mundo -

Across the desolate landscape of an unending desert, where the moon high up in the sky is unchanging and always ever present. Giving off the feeling that the realm is somewhat overall quiet for the most part. As the winds howled across the land of this barren wasteland, but even so that is not where the point of interest lies.

No, it lies across the ground filled with white sand and craggy spires of blue rock. Where the shadows seemed to be growing over the desert sands, causing two blobs of darkness to rise up from the shade. As there is a purpose in mind behind why this is happening.

- Human World -

In the beautiful night sky, high above a small city named Karakura Town, two familiar black blobs burst out of the clouds. Falling down to the surface beneath. Inevitably hitting the ground under them. Showing that the globs have a much more dark and sinister form upon impact.

Only to then disappear into thin air as the dust settles. Almost as if they never existed at all, or as if they did. In another spiritual plane...

We stand in awe before that which can not be seen,

And we respect with every fiber that which can not be explained...

- Somewhere In Karakura -

Not far away inside the town, where few lights remain on at this time of night, and the stillness seems to be a given. Stands a short and petite young lady who wears a shihakushō with an elegant blade strapped to her side.

Who is also currently positioned high atop a nearby telephone pole. Staring off into the area before her eyes, as the beautiful light of night sky generated by the full moon gives her a better view. Along with a black butterfly proceeding to fly off towards this same light, as its purpose has already been fulfilled.

"I sense strong spirit energy close by." says the young lady, before she chose to take off in a leap down towards the town below her.

As there seemed to be much for her to do in the darkness of night.

- The Following Day, Evening -

As the day was slowly coming to a close with a light breeze blowing across the air, accompanied by an orange sunset fully present. Which is why many people at this point in time were starting to make their way home peacefully, or either went to enjoy hobbies of their own.

Though the same couldn't be said for two individuals in high school uniforms, who were currently standing before five other people. All of which had skateboards, as the leader of the group was taking up for one of his boys, who was unconscious and on the ground.

"You two got a death wish? No one jumps one of my boys for no reason, and lives to tell about it." says the Leader of the thugs, who sounded very irritated.

While at the same time, making the first school student of two in front of him decide to speak.

"Hmmm." says the First High School Student, not seeming all that worried, making the leader in front of him even angrier.

"That's all you gotta say?!" asks the Leader of the thugs, who was now yelling in anger as he went to move forward quickly in order to punch the first school student .

BAM

Only for it to fail with the first high school student putting his foot up, and sending a kick to the thug leader's face. Ultimately sending him to the ground due to the force of the kick while meeting the same fate as one of his other buddies did before him.

Though instead of falling unconscious immediately, the school student decided to continue kicking him some more. While the other thugs look on a bit unsure now. As it seemed like their strength lied in numbers.

So after a couple more kicks to the thug leader's head, which lead to his face breaking through the concrete while also making him fall unconscious. The first high school student decided to look up at the three other thugs left, and decided to speak.

"Alright, now listen up you scum! Do you see that?" asks the First High School Student growling in anger, as he pointed to a knocked over vase of flowers with broken glass. "Now the first question, what do you think that is? You in the middle, answer!" says the First High School Student keeping his same tone of voice, while now making the last three thugs flinch a bit more.

"Oh, uhh, I guess somebody left those flowers for some kid that got killed here." says the thug in the middle answering in a fearful tone, and for good reason too.

As the Second High School Student that didn't speak yet moved forward in quick speed to send a kick of his own to the thugs face. Now making the first high school student look a bit annoyed.

'I wanted to do that…' thought the First High School Student, as he quickly got back on track. "Correct! Now the next question. That vase over there, why is it laying on it's side?" asks the First High School Student while walking up to the last two thugs with a glare.

"I guess, one of us knocked it over when we were skateboarding through here." says the thug on his left shaking in fear, as the other on his right did the same. "We didn't-" begins the same thug, only to be met with a kick to the face.

"You guys catch on fast..." begins the First High School Student speaking in a frighteningly calm manner before emitting a ferocious aura with a glare. "Now go and apologize, or else the next flowers will be for you bastards!" says the First High School Student with a fiery aura around his body, now yelling at the few conscious thugs.

Terrifying them all the same too, as they scrambled to grab their skateboards and two unconscious friends. While at the same time screaming out their apologies, as they ran away. So after a couple of seconds passed along, the second high school student looked over to the first and decided to speak.

"Was that threat really necessary Ichigo? I mean they were already scared from the start when they knew they couldn't win." says The Second High School Student now identifying the first of them.

Ichigo's is a fairly tall, lean-built muscular young man with peach skin and brown eyes. His most distinguishing feature is his spiky orange hair, which is long due to growing out as it comes to his shoulders, as it is also a trait he has been ridiculed about for years on end. Currently nothing on his clothing is noteworthy, except for the fact that he always wears a Quincy Cross necklace in the form of a pentacle. As a second one is worn around his wrist in the form of a simple cross, which is his mother's.

Alongside this Ichigo has six tattoos, all of which describe him very well. With the first tattoo coiling around his entire left arm in the form of a white Japanese dragon. As Ichigo's second tattoo is placed at the left side of his rib cage, in the form of a black tribal sun tattoo. While the third is on the right side of his rib cage in the form of a black tribal moon tattoo. The fourth nevertheless is positioned on Ichigo's right pectoral, and is in the form of the Kanji for the number 15 (十五, jū go) due his name being a homonym for the number. (AN: Read End Chapter Note.)

The fifth tattoo of the five however, covers his upper right arm, as it is a black flame patterned tattoo with numerous red rose petals etched into the design, as it reaches all the way up to his neck and stops just before touching his lower left cheek. As for the sixth, and final tattoo positioned at the upper part of his right forearm is in the form of the Shiba Clan's family crest known as the Collapsing Whirlpool of the Crashing Heaven.

"Of course it was necessary. You just had to ruin my fun by kicking the one thug that was in the middle, when I already had it handled to the point of making those guys never come through this area again." says Ichigo, speaking calmly as he fixed his clothes.

"Handled'' is a very strong word, Ichigo. Considering brutal is a much better word to describe what just happened from my perspective." says the Second High School Student.

"Yeah, yeah…says the guy, who got himself involved in the first place." says Ichigo with a sigh in his voice, as he turned his body around. "Sorry about all that. I'll bring you by some new flowers tomorrow with a new vase as well." says Ichigo speaking to a translucent little girl, who appeared after the commotion was over.

"Thank you both for coming to my defense. I think now I'll be able to rest peacefully." says the little girl as she gave a smile to the two boys before her.

"It's no problem. It's the least we could do." says Ichigo as he moves to stand the broken vase up. "After all, you deserve to rest in peace." says Ichigo returning the smile now, as he turns to walk away with his friend following him.

After doing this, the little girl disappeared from sight. Leaving Ichigo and his friend to themselves while walking home from school. Which is why Ichigo decided to speak now.

"So Uryū. Do you wanna tell me why you were out of town for the past two days?" asks Ichigo, identifying his friend while at the same time, curious for an answer.

Uryū Ishida is a bespectacled teenager of average height and slender build. He has straight, chin-length black hair framing both sides of his face, and is fair-skinned with blue eyes. In school, Uryū wears the respective school uniform along with a tie.

With this being said, Ichigo and Uryū are actually both not only friends but cousins. As they have been raised around each other since birth. Which is why both boys look out for each other, especially for Ichigo considering he holds his family dear to him. Friends included into that equation.

"Father wanted me to handle a minor problem in a small town outside Karakura." says Uryū answering the question. "The task wasn't that hard, and was quite easy in itself." says Uryū as he went to push his glasses up.

"I see." says Ichigo nodding while at the same time, satisfied with this answer.

"Yeah. So, what have I missed so far for the past two days?" asks Uryū while turning his head over to Ichigo now.

"Well not much. School is still school, which is why I took the liberty of gathering all of your missed assignments. Well the ones I was allowed to take, as you missed a test in one of your classes." says Ichigo informing Uryū, who nodded. "There also hasn't been any Hollow activity in these past two days, which is good. Though that has changed as of last night." says Ichigo with a small smirk on his face.

Causing Uryū to raise an eyebrow of curiosity at hearing the last few words. Which is why he decided to speak in order to get more information.

"And why is that, Ichigo?" asks Uryū, now waiting to hear the reason.

"Well, the answer is quite simple actually." says Ichigo starting off calmly, as he stared off into the distance while sensing foreign Reiatsu in Karakura. "Last night a Shinigami finally arrived in this city. No doubt hunting down some powerful Hollows that have appeared in this area." says Ichigo explaining this, as they both stopped walking for a moment.

Uryū himself began glaring off into the distance, feeling much resentment for something that happened to a family member of theirs. Though for Ichigo, not really all that much because he knew that the actions of a few doesn't judge the whole.

Though at the same time, Ichigo knew that the Shinigami as a whole had a large part to play in why things were the way they are in this world. After all, drastic actions in their own right can cause even more far-reaching repercussions.

"I see," begins Uryū, sounding very much displeased by this information as he continued speaking. "And do you think this occurrence will allow you to release the last bit of your Shinigami side?" asks Uryū bringing this point up, as Ichigo himself shrugged before speaking.

"Maybe so, but as it stands that remains to be seen. I won't force the issue, but at the same time something tells me I'm gonna be right, and that's what concerns me." says Ichigo expressing his feelings on the matter, as Uryū nodded.

"Well it's only natural to feel that way. Especially when you consider that this is the first time a Shinigami has appeared in this city." says Uryū pointing this out, as he went to continue walking in a whole different direction. "Anyway, I'm gonna head home for the time being. Tell your dad along with Karin, and Yuzu that I said hello, and if there are any problems in the meantime, just raise your Reiatsu." says Uryū while taking his time to leave fully now.

"Right, I'll make sure to do that." says Ichigo replying in agreement while looking at the retreating figure of his cousin, only to turn his gaze off into the distance once more.

'Hmm…' thought Ichigo, looking on with a calm but also very serious expression.

Only to put that aside and proceed to continue walking home.

My name is Ichigo Kurosaki. Well for the most part at least. I'm fifteen years old, so I'm a high school student amongst other things as well.

My family runs a medical clinic here in town. Which is why when I was younger it led me to believe that this was the reason behind why I was able to see souls of the dearly departed. Because we were entrusted with the lives of the living.

Though after hearing some enlightening information from both my father, and the mentors I've had over the years. That all changed...

- Kurosaki Clinic -

Not long after the sun went down fully for the night sky to appear, Ichigo had finally made it to his home. Making his way through the small gate, and closing it behind him. Arriving at the door in order to open it, but stopping as he felt something was off.

Only to let out a sigh in a bit of exasperation, as he opened the door. Speaking as he came through in order to announce himself.

"I'm home," begins Ichigo, before being forced to bring his entire upper body down in a dodge, as the person went for a high kick aimed at his face.

"Yah! Huh?" asks the male individual, who was in a bit of shock and surprise at missing their target.

With that being said, Ichigo decided to lean his body up in order to send a hard punch to the individual's gut. Which only sent them across the room, and sliding across the floor as they landed. Grunting in pain as they sat up to speak with a chuckle.

"You didn't let your guard down. Heh, it looks like I've been doing my job very well." says the male individual with a bit of pride in his voice.

"More like you're trying to kill your own son!" says Ichigo yelling while identifying the person who had attacked him. "I mean come on, dad! Who in their right mind attacks their own kid after they've had a long day at school?!" asks Ichigo sounding a bit annoyed

Isshin Kurosaki is a tall, muscular man with spiky black hair and brown eyes. He has thin facial hair around his mouth and on his cheeks. Due to running the clinic as it's doctor, Isshin usually wears a white lab coat over his otherwise more casual shirt and trousers.

"Silence! You're the one who was late for dinner, and got in past your curfew!" says Isshin raising his voice, as he got up off the floor.

"A seven o'clock curfew is uncalled for when applied to someone my age! Plus, It was for a good reason!" says Ichigo voicing his opinion, and fact on the matter.

"Like hell it is!" says Isshin yelling once more, before moving to attack his son again.

Who was already prepared for it, and decided to respond back by kicking his father across the room. Deciding to run at his father in a lunge, as Isshin got to his feet in order to respond back.

Leaving two others sitting at a table in the kitchen to continue watching the scene unfold. As one of them decided to speak now in order to try, and diffuse the situation.

"Hey! Stop the fighting you two! Come over here, and eat your dinner before it gets cold." says the first individual, chiding both father and son now, as the second individual across from her spoke with a sigh.

"Let them fight, Yuzu. No matter what you say, it's not gonna get through to them until it's out of their system." says the second individual identifying the first.

Yuzu Kurosaki is one of Ichigo's two sisters, as both girls are fraternal twins. So with that being said, Yuzu's appearance along with personality is a stark contrast to her sister's. As she possesses short light blonde hair with short bangs hanging over the right side of her forehead. She also wears a red hair clip on the left side of her head. Her eyes are dark brown and appear much softer than Karin's.

"Plus, it means more rice for me." says the second individual while holding out her freshly finished, and empty bowl.

"That's not very nice Karin." says Yuzu lightly reprimanding, and identifying the second person as her twin sister.

As Karin Kurosaki is Ichigo's second sister, who has dark grey eyes and black hair that is straight and cropped to hang around her face, just above her shoulders. Her eyes are large and dark. Currently wearing sportswear consisting of knee-length leggings or shorts with alternative shirts, trainers.

"But then again, your right." says Yuzu sighing out in defeat, as she continued to watch her father and older brother fight.

- With Ichigo and Isshin -

As the little scuffle went on, Ichigo had finally pinned his father to the ground with his left hand planted on the man's face. Promptly stopping his father's crazy attacks, as he could finally breathe in order to speak.

"Are you finally done attacking me, old man?" asks Ichigo with a twitch in his eyebrow while keeping the death grip on his father's face.

"Not...in the...slightest, but you have gotten better at keeping...your guard up." say Isshin grunting out the words, not accepting defeat as his voice went to become very serious now. "So, do you want to tell me the real reason behind why you got in so late?" asks Isshin to get to the point.

So upon hearing the seriousness in his father's voice, Ichigo decided to let him go. Giving a short and straightforward answer.

"There's a Shinigami here in Karakura." says Ichigo speaking in a much calmer tone now, surprising Isshin a bit as he continued listening. "I was able to sense them out sometime last night along with other powerful signatures belonging to that of Hollows. Strong ones at that, which would explain why they are here." says Ichigo explaining in further detail, as Isshin nodded.

"Makes sense when most of the Hollows that appear are usually that of low-level. Excluding the ones that you hunt outside of town." says Isshin while rubbing his chin, only to turn to Ichigo. "Which reminds me, what did you tell your other friends?" asks Isshin wanting to hear an answer on that.

"Well, I told them to keep their Reiatsu concealed. That way we won't warrant the possibility of being on Soul Society's radar." says Ichigo already ahead of things with Isshin nodding again, as he turned to leave for his room. "Anyway, I'm gonna go take a shower." says Ichigo, walking off now towards the door leading to the upstairs.

"Wait Ichigo! What about your dinner?" asks Yuzu, a bit concerned while reminding her older brother about eating.

"Don't worry Yuzu, I'll eat right after I'm done in the shower." says Ichigo reassuring his sister with a small smile, as he continued speaking. "Oh and also, Uryū wanted me to tell you all that he said hello." says Ichigo while reaching the door.

Opening it and heading upstairs now. Leaving the room quiet now as no one said anything for a few moments. As Isshin got up off the floor in order to stand up. With Yuzu getting up from her seat at the table in order to make Ichigo's food, and set it aside for him. Karin for her part of things, decided to let her eyes linger on the door for a moment, before letting out a small sigh as she went back to eating.

"Well that was pretty much expected." says Karin while using her chopstick to eat more rice from her second bowl.

- Ichigo's Room -

Upon arriving upstairs and opening the door leading into his room, Ichigo decided to put his school bag down first. Only to remove his school jacket, and throw it on the bed as he went to sit down at the chair by his desk.

Rubbing his eyes a bit in a tired manner while relaxing himself into the chair. In much thought about the Reiatsu signatures along with some of them disappearing at certain intervals.

Which only went to put Ichigo's entire attitude on even more of an edge now. Leading him to look over into the corner of the room with a small thought. Specifically on what was in the corner.

Two katanas…

The very items that Ichigo had used time and time again. The very same tool he had used on his enemies. The same exact tools in which he had used so gracefully, like beautiful artwork on a canvas. Especially after he had refined his skills in the way of the sword, so well to an extent that some would have to take. As they were one of the greatest assets to Ichigo, and held much behind just the appearance.

With that being said, Ichigo let out a sigh, before having a thought of his own.

'Not just yet...' thought Ichigo while closing his eyes for a few moments. 'Even if I want to get involved at this moment, it would only do more harm and draw attention to this town. Especially to those I know that don't want to be found.' thought Ichigo while opening his eyes again in finality.

Resolving himself to follow through with this thought process for the better of others around him. As he now went to get up from his chair in order to set out some new clothes on his bed. Alongside grabbing a towel, and heading out of his room towards the bathroom in order to take a shower.

Getting himself a bit prepared for the day that was to come tomorrow.

- The Next Morning -

It was currently morning time at Kurosaki Household. As birds were chirping, and the sun was high enough to shine bright without a cloud in sight. As it also meant that everyone in the household was up early enough to get ready for the day.

Which is why currently downstairs, both Yuzu and Karin were wide awake. Ready to start the day ahead of them, as television was turned on to the news channel. Talking about a situation that happened outside Karakura Station during the time when the morning commute was getting into full swing.

Though at the same time this was being reported, Ichigo had made his way downstairs into the living. Fully dressed in school clothing while holding the school bag in his left hand, only to put it onto the neatby couch, as he spoke to greet them.

"Hey." says Ichigo, making himself known to the two, as he walked over to the toaster.

"Good morning, Ichigo." says Yuzu greeting Ichigo with a smile.

"Good morning to you too." says Ichigo returning smiling as well, only to turn to Karin upon noticing something. "Where's dad by the way?" asks Ichigo curiously while pulling his piece of toasted bread out of the toaster.

"Early meeting at work. Said he'd be late tonight too." says Karin as she sipped from her mug.

"Again huh? Then I'll just have to call him later, or wait until he gets home." says Ichigo with a sigh in his voice while finding the timing a bit unfortunate, as he turned to look at his sister again. "Coffee Karin?" asks Ichigo with a raised eyebrow upon seeing this, as Karin turned to him now.

"Yeah." says Karin with a calm expression on her while continuing to sip from the hot mug, though that quickly stopped due to her speaking again. "Also Ichigo, both Tatsuki and Orihime called the house." says Karin informing him of this, as Ichigo now had his full attention on her. "That, alongside Uryū and Chad leaving a call too. Though all of them went to voicemail, considering it was pretty early in the morning when they left their calls." says Karin, finishing her small explanation on the matter of missed calls.

"Were you able to check the time for when all of these calls were made?" asks Ichigo wanting to know this small detail for a reason of his own.

"Yeah, they were all between five and six AM." says Karin answering the question, as Ichigo nodded once more.

"Okay, thank you for letting me know." says Ichigo sounding grateful, as Karin made a hand gesture while he went into thought. 'Tatsuki and Orihime is one thing, considering they check on me all of the time, and I vice versa to them. Chad however usually calls to hang out or check on me as well, though this was probably a call to remind me about the assignment that's due today.' thought Ichigo as he assessed this all, only to continue a bit further. 'Then theirs Uryū, who is a bit of a wildcard in our group as he could call for anything. Ranging from Hollows to schoolwork or just regular or intense sparing, but knowing him it's probably about what I told him yesterday…' thought Ichigo on the whole matter at hand.

Only now deciding to look over to the television, as he bit down into his piece of bread. Watching as the reporter talked about strange shaking in the ground, along with the camera showing the amount of damage that was displayed.

As Ichigo had noticed straight from the start that this had Hollow written all over it. Due to the drag marks on some of the broken parts of the building that they were showing on the television. Along with what seemed like some other drag marks, but only this time placed on the walls of nearby buildings. Obviously made from some sort of claw attacks.

Which is why Ichigo had continued looking at the screen with a bit of intensity behind his gaze. Though after a couple of seconds it was finally broken by Yuzu, who came up near him and spoke.

"What's wrong Ichigo? Something bad happened?" asks Yuzu, sounding obviously concerned.

"Can't say for sure. Though that place is near here." says Ichigo with the toast in his mouth. 'Just what is that Shinigami doing? It shouldn't have to take this long to take out a few Hollows.' thought Ichigo with narrowed eyes not getting why this at all, as he went for the door. "Alright I'm leaving for school. Make sure to lock up before you both leave as well." says Ichigo in a reminding tone while leaving out now.

"Got it." says Karin acknowledging his words while waving but not bothering to turn around.

"See you later Ichigo. Have a good day at school." says Yuzu waving goodbye with a smile on her face.

Causing Ichigo to wave goodbye, before closing the door. Heading out to start his day, and get something done.

- A Few Minutes Later -

Currently on the streets of Karakura, Ichigo was calmly making his way towards school.

As he had just gotten off the phone with Uryū, who had obviously called him to speak about the Hollow situation. And just as he expected, he was worried about it due to the incident this morning along with other incidents across the small city.

So after a lengthy conversation, Ichigo was able to calm the guy down, which in itself was not easy. Deciding to tell him that it would be better to speak in person about this when he arrived at school. Which is why after Ichigo had gotten off the phone, he had passed by another street that was blocked off by police tape. Along with law enforcement that seemed to be investigating the scene, which had only seemed to add more fuel to the fire.

Which is why Ichigo didn't bother in stopping his pace, as he had soon arrived at the location he had in mind. The area from yesterday where both himself, and Uryū had come to help out the spirit of the young girl. Now deciding to look around as he didn't see her, which he found strange in itself, and decided to speak out.

"Hello?!" asks Ichigo in a raised tone of voice, only being met with silence causing him to let out a sigh.

Finding this even all the more strange now. As he moved to put the new vase flowers inside it on the ground near the pole. Filling it with water from a small bottle, and stopping in order to not overflow the vase. As he stood up calmly to put the cap back on the water bottle.

Preparing to turn around in order to continue walking to school

RRAAAHHH

Only for these next set of actions to be entirely ruined. Upon his entire being promptly being put on high alert, due to hearing the loud roaring in the distance. One that could only be heard by spiritually aware individuals, and originate from a Hollow.

Which is why Ichigo had decided to hide two items in the nearby bushes. As he then began sensing out for the foreign Reiatsu in the nearby areas, all the way to the outer areas of the town. For which in turn worked well as he moved towards that location in a quick haste.

- Karakura Shopping District -

Arriving at the shopping district in the town, Ichigo could only describe what he saw in two words. Total Chaos. Due to people running away from the area entirely, while he on the other hand ran into the shopping district towards the source of the roaring.

As the further he went in, the stronger it got. With one wall to be imploding outwards onto the street, as dust filled the area. While claw marks indented themselves into the walls of the nearby buildings closest to the area of the implosion.

Which in turn made Ichigo stop his movement as the dust started to clear up, showing a very large insect-like Hollow that seemed to take on the appearance of a Praying Mantis.

"Not good." says Ichigo now seeing the gravity of the situation in the size of these Hollows.

As his attention was brought back to something running in his direction out of the unsettled dust further ahead.

"Help me!" says the spirit of the young girl crying out while fleeing for her life, or in this case her soul.

An upon hearing this, Ichigo moved forward to grab the young girl's arm and bolt in the other direction. Deciding that he should get the spirit of this young girl to safety, before acting to kill the Hollow. Though this plan of action backfired immediately, as the Hollow turned it's head and ran after them.

Making Ichigo to look back and see that the Hollow was fast approaching them. Most likely eager to devour the girl's soul in order to satiate it's hunger for a short while, or on the other hand was aiming to go after Ichigo's soul entirely. Due to being the best prey out of the two.

Which in this case, Ichigo couldn't tell and wasn't bothered to find out. As he turned his head back to see what was in front of him while moving up to grab the spirit by her waist. Uttering a word that would help his current predicament.

"Hirenkyaku" says Ichigo speaking under his breath, as he gathers Reishi under his feet, only to ride it towards the location ahead of him.

Now appearing at the closest street pole, far ahead of the Hollow chasing him. As he now had the time to put the girl down. Letting her run away from the area while causing Ichigo to make a mental note to catch up with her later, as he now turned to face the oncoming Hollow with a narrowed look in his eyes.

"Damn it. I just might have to intervene in this." says Ichigo preparing himself while sounding a bit frustrated, as he wanted to remain hidden. 'Screw it! I'll take the risk of being caught, but as it stands this thing needs to be eliminated.' thought Ichigo moving to raise his right arm in an attempt to strike back.

But before Ichigo could even act, some sort of butterfly appeared behind him. Which only caused a shadow to appear over his head. Making him turn to look up upon sensing the high amount of Reiatsu being given off, as he saw a female Shinigami jumping over top of him.

Who moved in quick action while swiftly unsheathing the blade from her scabbard. And upon doing so, the Shinigami gracefully attacked with a horizontal slash at the middle of the Hollow's face. Causing blood to immediately spew forth violently, and jet out everywhere in all directions.

Letting her take the time to land on the street, before jumping up again. Only this time much higher in the air, as the Hollow was spewing blood everywhere while looking up to see that the Shinigami was coming down at itself at a greater speed. Making it clear that there was no time to retaliate, as the Shinigami used her descending speed to cut the Hollow in half in a vertical fashion.

Defeating it all together in two attacks, as the Hollow was purified. With the Shinigami landing to the ground for a final time in order to put away her blade while Ichigo watched. While sighing in relief as he spoke.

"Looks like the Shinigami finally showed up. And with good timing at that." says Ichigo speaking under his breath, but not low enough though as the female Shinigami turned to him with a shocked expression on her face. 'Shit, she heard me! Not to mention my Reiatsu is still flaring a bit.' thought Ichigo in a bit of rapid realization.

Before deciding to quickly disappear from the area entirely. Leaving the female Shinigami to stand there to slowly come out of her shock. Noting a few things about what she just saw.

As it occurred to her that Ichigo had looked so much like someone she had seen before. Along with the fact that he was no ordinary Human. Not at all in the slightest.

"That boy…" begins the female Shinigami speaking in a soft tone of voice, as she turns to leave. "I'll have to track him down later. There are questions I have for him that need to be answered." says the female Shinigami in a much more dutiful way, before disappearing from sight as well.

Leaving civilians to come back into the area after things had finally settled down. Thinking it had been another explosion, as sirens could be heard not far away. Obviously coming to see what was going.

- With Ichigo -

After a couple of minutes, Ichigo had finally caught up with the spirit of the little girl. She had made it back to the street pole where she had died, and saw the new flowers and vase as well.

So as Ichigo continued to make his way towards her, the young girl looked over with another grateful smile on her face. Though some of it faltered at seeing the look on Ichigo's face. Due to wearing a sad expression, as it seemed he had something serious to say to her.

Which was proven right when Ichigo had finally reached her, and stopped to stand tall as he spoke.

"Listen. I know you're thankful and everything, but I think it's time you were sent off to the afterlife." says Ichigo in a serious tone of voice, shocking her while he continued speaking. "I think it's better that way. Due to the fact that Hollows won't be able to reach you. As you'll be safe and won't have to run into situations like this." says Ichigo giving his reason for saying this.

As these words only seemed to cause the girl to speak with tears in her eyes. Obviously with much regret on how she passed, along with why she seemed to want to remain in the material world of the living.

"But...I can't leave yet! There's still my family that I've left behind here in this world! Family that I don't want to leave yet! Please I'll...I'll..." says the little girl as she was letting her tears flow, crying at not being able to find the words.

While Ichigo looked on with an even saddened expression. Knowing this must be hard for her, but found it necessary to tell her anyway. As he decided to continue from there in a sympathetic tone.

"I get that you would want to stay. Anyone would because of the regret bearing down on not only their heart, but also upon their soul." says Ichigo speaking sympathetically, as he puts a hand on her shoulder. "But would you be satisfied with those monsters from before devouring your soul somewhere down the line, instead of moving on?" asks Ichigo, wanting an answer to this question that needed to be asked, while causing the young girl to shake her head as she spoke.

"No... I don't think I would be satisfied with that." says the young girl wiping her eyes, as Ichigo nodded.

"That's good to hear because I don't think your family would be either. Especially when it's their time to pass on and they arrive on the other side to find you." says Ichigo in a soft tone, as he continued further. "Listen, I can tell this is hard on you and you don't want to leave yet. But I'd rather be satisfied knowing you moved on safely, and were not attacked again." says Ichigo giving his personal reason for doing this. "Which is why I would like to send you off myself." says Ichigo surprising the young girl, as she looked at him.

"You...you can do that?" asks the young girl, sounding a bit curious while making Ichigo nod his head.

"Yes. I can do that." says Ichigo confirming it verbally as well while looking directly into her eyes.

Causing the young girl to look to the side, as she thought about it. On one side she wanted to pass on peacefully, and on the other she wanted to stay for those she had left behind.

Which is why she had decided to ask one more question in order to find out where she'd go from here with Ichigo.

"What's it like?" asks the young girl in a low tone.

"Hmm?" asks Ichigo, sounding confused now.

"The afterlife." says the young girl, now making much more sense to Ichigo as she continued to speak. "What is it like?" asks the young girl again.

As Ichigo went to let out a small sigh before speaking in order to answer her question.

"The afterlife, it's actually called Soul Society." says Ichigo, beginning to speak while getting the young girl's attention. "And from what I've heard, it's a warm place with a gentle breeze. One never gets hungry and aging is slowed to a great extent." says Ichigo describing the first parts of it. "While at the same time, life there is much like that in the living world. Which is why in some aspects it's not what you would expect, as Soul Society cannot be called altogether a paradise. Due to families separated by death are rarely reunited in the Soul Society unless they arrive in Soul Society together." says Ichigo explaining some of the downsides.

Leaving the young girl to listen further, as Ichigo grabbed her hand in a comforting way while continuing to speak.

"Though you're never alone. Not in the slightest, as people there live together like a family of strangers. As they also look in search of their families once they reach the otherside." says Ichigo explaining this piece of information, as he continued. "So the possibility of finding some sort of family there always remains." says Ichigo finishing his explanation on Soul Society.

So as the young girl took this all in. Thinking about where to go with all of this, as she was heavily conflicted upon learning that even the afterlife had its downsides. Though she also noticed that saddened and solemn expression on Ichigo's face as he spoke of the realm.

But at the same time, it didn't stop her from giving Ichigo an answer of her own.

"I think I'd like to go to the Soul Society." says the young girl, getting Ichigo's full attention. "If what you say is true, then the good seems to out way more of the bad." says the young girl continuing with her opinion on the matter. "Which is why I'll let you send me off." says the young girl trying to cheer up a bit with a small smile.

Making Ichigo nod upon hearing this answer from her.

"Very well." says Ichigo as he went over to the nearby bush, on the other side of the street pole.

Proceeding to dig far inside the bushes, as he brought two katanas out into the open. Deciding to put the second one back in, as he walked back over, and decided to explain in order to not frighten the girl.

"Now don't be afraid. What I'm about to perform is called Konsō. A technique which allows me to send you off to Soul Society from the Human World." says Ichigo explaining this as he spoke again. "Also better known as "crossing over" in better wording." says Ichigo finishing this small explanation, as the girl nodded upon hearing this.

While Ichigo had decided to unsheathe the blade in order to begin the technique by gently tapping the hilt of his blade against the young girl's forehead. Leaving an emblem at the point of impact which begins to shine brightly.

As it causes the young girl to proceed sinking into the ground in a pool of blue light slowly. Now beginning her send off into Soul Society, but not before asking Ichigo a question as this process went on.

"Mister if I may, why did you look so sad when you spoke of Soul Society?" asks the young girl, causing Ichigo to perk up now. "You seemed as if you didn't like talking about it, or there was something you personally didn't like about it all together." says the young girl noting these details.

Which seemed to make Ichigo look on for a few seconds, before letting out a long sigh. Before speaking to answer the question.

"Because from my perspective it's not that much of a paradise, as it's fully described to be." says Ichigo explaining the reason behind his behavior. "Which is why I seek to one day change that. So it can be the true definition of an actual paradise for those that will arrive there in the near or far future." says Ichigo describing this small goal of his.

As it only seemed to make the young girl smile at him, as she spoke for a final time.

"I see. Well, I do hope you can one day achieve that goal of yours." says the young girl with a smile on her face. "And thank you for sending me off." says the young girl giving her thanks, as Ichigo nodded once more.

"You're very welcome." says Ichigo with a small smile on his face, as she finally disappeared from sight due to being sent off fully.

Leaving Ichigo to stand there for a couple of seconds. Obviously in thought while looking at the spot in where she had disappeared upon her ascent into Soul Society.

Only to decide in walking back over towards the bushes in order to grab his second katana. Finding it better to drop them off at a nearby shop on his way to school.

Speaking for a final time as he went on about his day.

"And…let's meet again one day on the other side in the future." says Ichigo with a calm expression on his face now.

Giving these last few finals words for the spirit of the young girl he helped move on. As Ichigo had decided to silently walk away now.

- Night Time, Later That Evening -

Laying down on his bed in some casual indoor clothing after a nice long, hot shower, Ichigo was currently in the process of reflecting on everything that had happened so far. From being found out by that Shinigami to helping out the spirit of that young girl. It honestly was weighing on him a bit more than it should.

Though at the same time this wasn't all that happened in his day, as he still had school to attend. So when he had arrived not long after the whole Hollow situation that occurred earlier that morning, Ichigo's guess about his friends had been overall correct.

He found out that Tatsuki, and Orihime had called to check in on him. While Chad called to make sure that Ichigo had finished that assignment that was due today. Though for Uryū, he had pulled Ichigo aside during one of his free periods in order to voice his own concerns about the Shinigami problem that was running around in Karakura.

Which is why his current thought process was on how the female Shinigami would approach him, and when. As Ichigo had figured it would be soon due to knowing the Shinigami wouldn't let go of what she had seen, and felt so easily.

Leaving Ichigo to find that this whole situation was turning into a big mess.

'Something wrong, King? You seem to be taking this all in a bit too seriously, when you're usually so calm in most aspects.' asks the voice of a calmly energetic individual in his head, causing Ichigo to respond.

'I'm surprised that you aren't alongside me in this, Shiro. Especially when things are where they are now.' thought Ichigo responding to the voice while identifying it by name.

'Meh, it's not my department to worry about things like this unless it's very serious.' says the now named Shiro. 'Plus I like to leave that kind of stuff up to my other half. Isn't that right Old-Man Zangetsu?' says Shiro with a knowing grin on his face, as he identified his other half.

'Oh be silent. You just like to make things tedious by leaving all the responsibility with me.' says the now named Old-Man Zangetsu, or Zangetsu for short. 'But I do have to agree with Ichigo on this one, Shiro. Something about all of this doesn't add up, especially when you consider the timing along with Reiatsu signatures from last night up to now appearing and disappearing at random.' says Zangetsu sounding focused on the conversation at hand.

'Oh for the love of…you're all just overthinking this. Is it really not all that natural for even those who can easily sense Reiatsu to not have some sort of off day?' asks Shiro, trying to make sense of the problem revolving around the Reiatsu signatures. 'I mean come on, even Nejibana hasn't said anything. Which means there's nothing to worry about, am I right?' asks Shiro waiting for an answer from the third entity while identifying them by name.

'Well Shiro, I'm actually in agreement with Ichigo and Zangetsu on this subject.' says the soft feminine voice of the now named Nejibana, giving her stance on the small argument. 'Especially when you think about all of the Hollows that have appeared on multiple occasions inside Karakura Town over the years. That alongside what Old-Man Zangetsu has said about the timing.' says Nejibana, finishing off with a small smile on her face.

'Grr…you know what? All of you are just so un-' begins Shiro sounding irritated, only to be cut off by Ichigo before he could finish.

'We'll have to save this conversation for another time,' begins Ichigo, stopping all of them from speaking as he had also gotten their attention. 'Because the Shinigami's already here.' says Ichigo alerting the three to this fact.

While at the same time, beginning to open his eyes to see a completely black butterfly, with the wings being purple with a black outline. Identifying it as a Jigokuchō thanks to a conversation he had with his father years before. Which only led him to look over to his desk, as the same female Shinigami from before had appeared due to this same butterfly being her way of travel.

So when she appeared in such a way, Ichigo decided to sit up in order to speak.

"What the hell are you doing here?" asks Ichigo with narrowed eyes, only to be met with silence, as she put a hand onto her blade causing him to speak again. "Hey! Did you not hear me?!" asks Ichigo once more while once again being met with no answer.

Almost as if she were scanning the room for something, as she stood there. Searching and sensing for her target, try to find some sort of trace. As she went to jump off of the desk, and stand in the middle of the room whilst looking around.

'It's getting closer...' thought the female Shinigami with a serious expression. "I feel it." says the female Shinigami speaking to herself.

As this caused Ichigo to finally have enough of the no response nonsense coming from the Shinigami, due to her being so absorbed in the mission at hand. Which is why Ichigo got up from the bed and went to kick the female Shinigami in her backside. Forcing her to fall over in an undignified fashion, as Ichigo spoke again.

"Stop ignoring me, and answer the question!" says Ichigo yelling with a vein popping out on his forehead, as the female Shinigami laid there on the ground while feeling very confused. "You know I find it quite rude that you would break into my house! Specifically my room! Shinigami or not, you don't ignore people when they're clearly speaking to you!" says Ichigp continuing to yell and berate the young lady, as he turned on the light in the room.

Leaving the female Shinigami to finally listen to his words, whilst trying to understand how she was able to be kicked in the way that she was. While also being seen and heard, by a human no less. Which is why she turned her head to Ichigo and spoke.

"You kicked me...and you can see me?" asks the female Shinigami looking towards Ichigo with a shocked expression, trying to make sense of it before she started noticing Ichigo's appearance. "Wait, you're that boy from earlier!" says the female Shinigami in a surprised tone of voice, as she remembered the whole incident at the Shopping District.

"Yeah, that's me." says Ichigo nodding with a calm expression on his face.

"Then how were you able to move so fast?" asks the female Shinigami getting up to her feet, as she walks over to grab Ichigo's chin while barely being able to reach. "It was very strange. You look normal but you must be defective in some way." says the female Shinigami while examining him a bit closer now.

Which only forced Ichigo's eyebrow to twitch just a bit. As he moved to push her hand away, and lightly chop her over the head. Making the female Shinigami rub the top of head. Only for Ichigo to begin speaking once again when these small set of actions were over.

"And you're not the sharpest tool in the shed..." says Ichigo with a sigh, as he continued speaking. "Considering that's not something you say to a person after you've broken into their house." says Ichigo, still sounding very irritated before calming himself down to ask another question. "Now, who exactly are you?" asks Ichigo looking directly into the lady's eyes while waiting for an answer.

"You want to know?" asks the female Shinigami, looking serious now as she stopped rubbing her head in order to stare back. "Then I'll tell you. I'm a-" begins the female Shinigami only to be cut off by Ichigo.

"I already know all of that. Which is why I'm asking who you are, and not what you are." says Ichigo as he folded his arms in the process of speaking. "It's really not all that hard to figure out that you're a Shinigami sent here from the Soul Society in order to do your...duty. Which is purifying Hollows." says Ichigo, enlightening the young lady of information that he already knows. "Now, may I please have your name?" asks Ichigo speaking politely now for the woman's name.

"Of course. My name is Rukia. Rukia Kuchiki." says the now identified Rukia introducing herself formally, as Ichigo was silent for a few moments causing her to be a bit confused now.

'Kuchiki Clan, huh? Strange considering she's not wearing one of their Kenseikan.' thought Ichigo as he felt a bit surprised while at the same time not showing it outwardly at the moment, as he had now noticed Rukia's head tilt of confusion. "Oh right! Where are my manners, my name is Ichigo. Ichigo Kurosaki." says Ichigo introducing himself to Rukia, as he went to gently grab her right hand. "It's a pleasure to meet you." says Ichigo as he moved to kiss the back of her hand.

A gesture which Rukia picked on immediately with a small blush. As it was a gesture indicating courtesy, and politeness amongst other things. Which is why when Ichigo leaned his body up fully, Rukia decided to speak on it with a lightly playful tone.

"Oh my, such good manners. Do you do this with every lady you meet?" asks Rukia, finding some amusement from such an action.

"Nope. It's all just good manners really," begins Ichigo, shrugging as he spoke while killing Rukia's fun in her tracks, as his face went to morph into a smirk. "Plus, you may look like a brat, but something tells me that you're older than you look." says Ichigo as he chuckled a bit.

"How dare you!" says Rukia, sounding offended, and a bit angry even though it was true. "You shouldn't say that to a lady. It's quite rude." says Rukia, deciding to chide him for his words.

"And you shouldn't call someone defective right after you've broken into their home. It's quite rude as well." says Ichigo responding to her with a smirk on his face.

"..."

"..."

"..."

"..."

"Touché." says Rukia acknowledging this with a twitch in her eyebrow.

"Right." says Ichigo, sounding satisfied, as his mood turned serious once again. "Now, do you want to tell me why you're here? Well, specifically my house?" asks Ichigo, getting back to his original point.

As Rukia didn't speak to answer immediately due to unsheathing her blade. While at the same time moving to perform Konsō on a male Plus spirit. That has the appearance of a bespectacled man with brown hair and eyes and glasses who dresses in business clothes and has a noose around his neck.

Causing Ichigo to watch Rukia reassure the spirit of Soul Society, and shatter his worries of being sent to the underworld. Which is why upon finishing the ceremony, she finally decided to speak.

"Well, other than what I just performed along with what you already know about the Shinigami, I was hunting a few Hollows in order to purify them." begins Rukia while continuing to speak now. "As the influx of both Spirits and Hollows have abruptly risen in the small city. And as for the reason why I'm here, it's because my senses got a bit hazy around this area, almost like it was being jammed." says Rukia, surprising Ichigo just a bit while continuing further. "Which is why I decided to home in on the smallest bit of Reiatsu and go from there. Though I didn't expect to end up in your home, let alone meeting you again." says Rukia finally finishing her explanation on why she was in his home, causing Ichigo to nod his head.

'So that explains why she's here. Not to mention it's quite impressive that she could sense the little Reiatsu that I was giving off.' thought Ichigo giving Rukia some praise inwardly while said girl decided to speak again.

"Which brings me to my next point, who are you exactly?" asks Rukia, deciding to drop this question now, causing Ichigo to look her in the eyes.

"Me? I'm just a normal high school student. One who likes-" begins Ichigo only to be cut off by Rukia.

"Cut the crap with this pathetic excuse for a lie. If you think that I forgot what I saw you perform in town earlier today than you are truly mistaken." says Rukia stopping Ichigo while not buying the cover story he was planning to tell her.

"And do you think you should be asking these interrogative questions now?" asks Ichigo, being fully serious now while not even bothering to cover his actions due to the fact that Rukia wasn't buying it at all. "Especially when there are Hollows still on the loose in this town." says Ichigo making his point further, as Rukia looked a bit irritated.

"You're very correct, but as it stands if you think that I'm going to-" begins Rukia only to be cut off by something that caught her along with Ichigo's attention.

RRRAAAAHHH

Loud roaring in the distance, and really close at that. Which only put both Ichigo and Rukia on edge, as Ichigo was the first out of the two to run to the door of the room. Causing Rukia to follow in the same set of actions, as they reached the door. Only to be met with a powerful wave of Reiatsu hitting them once the door was open.

'This is amongst the strongest Reiatsu I've ever felt! Just how could I have not sensed it earlier?!' thought Rukia asking these questions internally, as she was both generally and honestly confused due to not being able to pick up on it sooner.

'It's not just in the distance. It's close, just really close.' thought Ichigo with a mixed expression of both surprise and seriousness, while at the same time not liking the possible danger that this pressure had presented.

As it soon died down with Karin coming up the stairs, looking hurt and completely overwhelmed. About to fall to the floor with Ichigo noticing, and moving to catch her before it happened.

"Ichigo…" begins Karin grunting out the words, as she looks up to her brother.

"Karin! What happened?!" asks Ichigo, speaking quickly in a worry.

"Ichigo...it's a Hollow...a powerful one. It's got...Yuzu…" says Karin shocking Ichigo, as she spoke again. "Ichigo...you've gotta save her...before…" begins Karin before falling unconscious now.

Leaving Ichigo and Rukia with a clear picture of what's going on. As both of them heard a scream coming from downstairs courtesy of Yuzu. Making Ichigo put Karin down gently in order to run off down the stairs with Rukia behind him.

- Downstairs Area -

As Ichigo used the wall instead of the steps to get down quicker, and landed at the bottom with Rukia using her own method not far behind him. Arriving at the entrance to the living room to see wreckage everywhere, along with a hole in the wall.

Though the most shocking thing about all of this was that Yuzu had already been taken into the giant Hollow's grip. As she was struggling to get out, causing Rukia to unsheathe her blade in order to fight it.

Leaving Ichigo to grit his teeth before immediately taking off while grabbing the two katanas he had left in the living room after arriving back at home.

"Yuzu!" says Ichigo yelling with much worry in his voice, making her look to him alongside the Hollow holding her hostage.

"No stop, Ichigo!" says Rukia yelling out upon seeing Ichigo take off at the Hollow.

"Ichigo! Get me out of here, please!" says Yuzu yelling in a pleading tone.

Causing the Hollow to rear it's fist back to attack Ichigo as he came into it's range. Uncapping his first blade in order to show the Habaki while jumping up into the air, which left him open for attack.

For which the giant Hollow had taken notice of, and made its move to rear it's fist forward to strike Ichigo. Leaving him to look at the oncoming attack with slightly widened eyes.

Before disappearing into thin air...

Leaving only all of this to be heard within a matter of under three seconds with the Hollow now roaring out in immense pain. As Rukia from her perspective, managed to keep her eyes on what just occurred but only so much. Due to Rukia's eyesight barely being able to keep up with the speed in which Ichigo had just moved at.

Though from what she had just seen happen, along with what she was currently seeing happening in front of her was that Ichigo had used Shunpo at a rapid speed. Leaving the area he had previously occupied to be kicked up by air, as he had moved to use the first katana in his possession to sever the Hollow's right arm along with its fingers.

Causing blood to gush out in a splatter all over the ground, as he had quickly landed not that far away with Yuzu safe in his arms. Deciding to check over his sister as she too had fallen unconscious. Before having to move again upon sensing that the Hollow was making another move to attack him again.

And in just enough time too due to the Hollow's fist burying itself in the ground. With Rukia finally coming out of her stunned state, now moving quickly to attack the Hollow's remaining left arm. Only managing to cause it to roar out in pain with more blood gushing out, as Rukia's attack was a bit shallow in her attempt to sever the Hollow's other arm.

So in this case, it forced Rukia to remove the blade and jump back to where Ichigo was. Leaving the Hollow to back up while still roaring out in pain, before it went to disappear from sight. Giving Ichigo time to disappear for a few seconds, before reappearing again in order to speak while flaring his Reiatsu by just a bit.

"They're both alright. Unconscious with small injuries but alright all the same." says Ichigo reassuring Rukia, who nodded.

"That's good to know. Now listen, I believe the Hollows are-" begins Rukia only to be cutoff.

"After me? Yeah, I surmised that straight from the start when that Hollow diverted all its attention straight to me." begins Ichigo, before continuing further while stopping his flaring of Reiatsu. "Which means they've identified me as the stronger prey with more Reiryoku to hunt after." says Ichigo, already coming to the conclusion on his own with Rukia nodding.

"You are correct, but that isn't our only problem right now." says Rukia, getting Ichigo's attention once again. "The reason I say this is because that Hollow's roars will alert the other four that appeared somewhere in this town earlier today. Considering we're facing the strongest of the bunch, it means this thing needs to be killed quickly or I'll be overwhelmed."

"You won't be overwhelmed as I'm already helping you." says Ichigo, making it clear to her that he'll help her.

"Fool! Do you not get that they are specifically after you?! If you put yourself in the crossfire of this battle, you could be devoured!" says Rukia, shouting with clear irritation in her voice while concerned for his safety.

"Well as it stands I don't have the luxury, nor do I have the will to run from this fight!" says Ichigo, shouting while continuing to make his point. "As it's already been made clear that they're after me, and will continue to hunt me until they're either dead or manage to devour my soul or a soul that will satisfy them for a bit!" says Ichigo, yelling back at such stubbornness from Rukia's determination to fight alone instead of evening the odds by just a bit.

This small argument didn't last long due to another loud roar being made by the same Hollow from earlier, as it decided to reappear before the two. Gaining the attention of both Ichigo, and Rukia. Who were immediately on guard at seeing it.

"Great, it's too late now." says Rukia, not liking this situation at all as Ichigo stood up behind her.

"No. It's just perfect timing." says Ichigo with a serious expression, making his move to run towards the Hollow and stand not that far away from it as he continued to glare at. "If you want my soul then you're gonna have a hard time getting it. Especially when I kill you." says Ichigo with his grip on both blades.

"RRRAAAAHH" shouts the large Hollow roaring in animalistic response, before extending its neck towards Ichigo, as Rukia's eyes widen upon seeing this.

"Oh no!" says Rukia in a bit of worry.

Now rushing towards Ichigo in order to help him before the Hollow touches him. Only for that objective of movement to fail, as another Hollow had appeared in the area, being a bit smaller in size too. As it aimed to attack Ichigo from behind while he dealt with the first Hollow in front of him.

Leaving Rukia to ultimately make a choice in all of this within a matter of seconds…

SPLATTER

As Ichigo held his blade up at an angle in between the First Hollow's mouth in order to stop it's advance, he looked behind himself and saw something that shocked him.

Rukia doing the same to a second Hollow that from his perspective must have appeared just now. Though unfortunately Rukia was not so very lucky, as she had her blade in between the Second Hollow's mouth while some of her upper torso was bit in the process.

"Rukia!" says Ichigo in a panic for her safety, before turning back to attack his current enemy. "Blut Arterie" says Ichigo activates a blood technique that increases his attack power.

Now moving to use his right arm to send a punch directly at the First Hollow's face. And with ultimate success, as he sent it back a few feet. Giving his sword in the left hand freedom, as he turned around to move towards Rukia. Sending small but deep slashes to the Second Hollow's mask, before kicking it away in order to release Rukia from it's grip.

Leaving Ichigo to use Shunpo in order to put some distance between himself and the Hollows while holding Rukia bridal style. Landing to the ground and putting her down gently while speaking again.

"Rukia! Stay with me, alright! The wound isn't that deep, so you'll survive but as it stands now, you won't be able to continue fighting in this battle." says Ichigo speaking quickly while overseeing her wounds, before looking over to the two Hollows that were still staggered from the attacks.

Allowing Rukia to speak while grunting out the words in obvious pain from her wounds.

"You...are a fool. How could you have possibly thought...you were any match for a Hollow? Especially when another...was at your back." says Rukia grunting out the words with clear displeasure in her voice. "Did you really think that everything would be over if you gave them your soul? One soul doesn't satisfy them for long." says Rukia continuing to speak as she looks at Ichigo now. "...If you don't stop interfering we're all gonna end up as their food. Especially for the ones that I sense are on their way here." says Rukia in a grating tone letting this sink for a moment with Ichigo.

Though it didn't last long as Ichigo stopped looking at the Hollows while standing up fully. Speaking as soon as this was done.

"You know, I could have killed them both in one strike." says Ichigo in a calm but very serious tone, which shocks Rukia. "From the moment I rushed the first one, I had sensed there was a second one. So all I really needed to do was position them, but all the same that failed." says Ichigo with a shrug in his shoulders, as he turned to look at Rukia now. "So what do you wanna do now, Rukia? Considering you're so eager to take over this situation." says Ichigo now waiting for an answer from the Female Shinigami, as the roaring from the nearby Hollows got louder.

"It's like you said before, I'm too injured to fight. But if what you said...about your strength is also true, then I can give you...an even larger but temporary boost...in power..." says Rukia grunting out the words while peeking Ichigo's interest.

"How so?" asks Ichigo while noticing that the two Hollows before them were starting to heal.

"By becoming...a Shinigami yourself." says Rukia finishing her words while now catching her breath for a moment.

"I already guessed that, but how do we do it? Time is of the essence here." says Ichigo speaking quickly, noticing that the other Hollows were almost here.

"By taking my Zanpakutō. You must run it to the center of your being, so that I may pour my powers into you." says Rukia explaining the procedure. "I can't guarantee that you'll live but considering what I've seen here from you so far, something tells me that you will." says Rukia positioning her blade upward, as the roar of the Hollows became even louder.

'Do you guys think you can help me balance out the released power? Considering this won't just give me a boost, but will unlock the rest of my potential from my Shinigami side.' thought Ichigo speaking to his inner while noticing that the two Hollows were almost healed.

'Of course! What do you take us for?!' says Shiro, sounding offended.

'It can be done.' says Zangetsu, speaking firmly as usual.

'We've been waiting for this moment for a while now, so let's do it Ichigo!' says Nejibana, shouting with obvious excitement in her voice.

So upon hearing this, Ichigo was able to make his choice with a nod. While at the same time noticing that the Hollows were fully healed now, as he spoke to answer Rukia.

"Alright. Then let's get this done." says Ichigo with a smirk, before speaking again for a final time. "And afterwards, I'll tell you what I am." says Ichigo, giving her this much as she nodded.

"I'd like that very much." says Rukia with a small smile.

And so with no further words being spoken, Ichigo grabbed the blade and clasped his hands near the Tsuba. Preparing to impale himself as the two Hollows came running in his and Rukia's direction.

Leaving only one action left to be performed, as Ichigo pushed the blade towards himself along with Rukia thrusting it forward on her part. Causing a large amount of light to take over the area along with a heavy amount of Reiatsu being given off. Forcibly stopping the Hollows in their tracks, as the light dies down with the heavy pressure.

SLICE SLASH

Though not without a certain force striking out at the enemy. As the first of the two attacks had sliced the First Hollow's left arm clean off. While the Second Hollow wasn't so lucky, as the attack caused in the form of a horizontal slash had cut it's mask clean in half. Ultimately purifying it, as the light had fully died down along with all the pressure that was given off.

Now showing Ichigo's appearance had taken a drastic turn. As he was now wearing the standard Shinigami attire, with the addition of a red rosary-like strap shaped like a kite with a flat top and bottom. As the Saya of both his katanas were strapped at the left of his waist.

While Ichigo himself held both of the blades in each of his hands. Leaving a stunned Rukia behind him, now clad in a white shihakushō

'Wait...you mean to tell me those blades from earlier were his Zanpakutō?! Does he possess a dual-wield type, or are they separate? Which would in fact give him control over two Zanpakutō's, for which in itself should be impossible!' thought Rukia with much shock present on her face at seeing them.

Ichigo's first katana in its sealed form, resembles a normal katana but totally black in color with a white outline at the edges. As the only other decoration is the Tsuba, which is in a hexagonal shape. The two sides parallel to the blade are long, whereas the four sides above and below the blade are shortened, making it into almost a diamond or prism-like shape. Leaving It to also have a white handle.

While the second katana in its sealed form, resembles an average katana with a rectangular cross guard with smooth rounded edges and a dark blue hilt.

"This ends now." says Ichigo while outright glaring, as he went to use Shunpo

Maneuvering himself in quick speed towards the now defenseless Hollow that had no arms. As he speeds past the Hollow underneath it's legs in order to spin once, successfully slicing the Hollow's legs off and bringing it down to size.

As Ichigo came in for a second attack by running to get in close. Only to jump up and spin at a rapid speed in a vertically, circular motion. With Ichigo's target being the Hollow's mask, moving past by spinning in an upward fashion at a barely visible speed. Leaving the Hollow's mask to split in half right down the middle, as it's entire body faded away.

'How could this have happened? I was only supposed to give him half of my power, but it seems like he's taken nearly all of it.' thought Rukia looking at the acne before her eyes. 'Just who are you, Ichigo?' thought Rukia asking this internal question while continuing to watch such a display of power before her eyes.

As Ichigo allowed himself to land to the ground safely while putting away his blades. Giving Ichigo a chance to extend his senses in order to find four signatures closing in on him, as Nejibana spoke to him.

'Ichigo, you might wanna be quick with the last four.' says Nejibana advising him in a quickened manner.

'Already ahead of you.' thought Ichigo responding to his second spirit, as he positioned his hands for a certain technique. "Heilig Bogen: Reinigungs Pfeil Configuration" says Ichigo while gathering Reishi from the air in order to create a longbow with four long prongs and two spikes extending from the center.

Causing Rukia's entire thought process to be under even greater surprise at what she was seeing.

'Wait, Reishi Manipulation? Could he be…' thought Rukia almost coming to a conclusion of her own, only for it to be interrupted by Ichigo.

Who had now gone to charge the bow with lightning, as he pulled back the bow string made of Reishi, before uttering three words for his final attack that would end it all.

"Thunderbolt Scattershot Arrow" says Ichigo releasing the string, letting loose the lightning charged arrow.

That had now propelled itself high up into the air. Far above Ichigo's current position, before exploding in a small lighting show with a loud thunderclap. As the next motion of this lightning attack sent out four smaller, but condensed lightning charged arrows of Reishi. That in themselves went to home in on the last remaining Hollows that were already close to closing in on the area.

As the arrows killed them upon impact, due pillars of lightning rising up in the process. While at the same time, purifying them all in one swift motion. Effectively ending the current problem concerning the Hollows for now. As Ichigo went to deactivate his powers, returning to his normal form with his regular clothing. Walking back over towards Rukia.

Who herself was left in an astonished state at such display of power. Noting that Ichigo must've had it all along. As no human could do all of that unless they were trained well. Though on the other hand, something else caught her attention in the form of Ichigo's second katana. Which looked very familiar to her for some reason.

Which is why Rukia had decided to get more answers from Ichigo later. As he had stopped right in front of her on one knee. Giving him the perfect opportunity to speak now.

"Well, now that you've seen most of what I just performed, it's better that I give you an answer." says Ichigo beginning to speak, as he continued further. "As you already know, I am..Ichigo...a mixed-blood Quincy with Shinigami powers." says Ichigo revealing his true nature while sounding a bit nervous.

Leaving Rukia shocked to her core with wide eyes. As she had never seen a Quincy before due to prior knowledge of the entire race that all Shinigami apparently know, and believe to be true. Which currently left her looking into the eyes of Ichigo, who didn't stray away from her stare.

As a few moments had passed in the silence that overtook both of them. Though never breaking away eye contact from each other's stares, which were trying to determine something in the back of their minds.

Before Rukia finally decided to speak in order to break the silence.

"I see…a Quincy huh?" asks Rukia in a calm but silent tone, causing Ichigo to nod his head. "Well...it's officially my first time meeting one." says Rukia with a small smile, surprising Ichigo who just continued to stare on at her. "I actually feel foolish for calling you defective now. When you're actually really special." says Rukia while smiling at Ichigo.

Who in turn was more or less shocked by this alongside Shiro, and Zangetsu. Who seemed to be watching this interaction alongside a very giddy Nejibana, who was very happy at the scene unfolding before her eyes. As Ichigo on his part had expected some sort of wariness to come from Rukia at revealing such information. Especially when he considered the history between both sides.

So with this being said, her words left a happy feeling in Ichigo's body. As Ichigo was finally able to let out a sigh of relief, before he went to speak with amusement in his voice.

"Yeah, I guess so." says Ichigo, giving her a warm smile of his own with a small chuckle.

Both sides seemingly very happy with this turnout, despite what they've just encountered. As the two continued to chuckle for a bit.

This was how the door to the rest of my story opened. As this was also how the door to my greatest adventure began.

So despite the shaky start in my early life, I can say I was fully prepared.

- Not That Far Away -

On a small rooftop overlooking the scene between Ichigo and Rukia, was Ichigo's father. Who was standing alongside two others with different emotions on what took place.

Which is why Isshin decided to speak on it first.

"So, are you all happy with this turn out?" asks Isshin with a small smirk on his face, as the second man on his left spoke.

"I'm gonna say that I'm satisfied. For now. But, I will be testing Ichigo later on down the road." says the Second Individual, as he continues further. "I wanna see just how far he's willing to go. Along with just how strong his resolve really is when a new factor like her is involved." says the Second Individual in a serious manner.

Falling silent now, upon the third individual speaking up with small amusement in his voice.

"Well on my part, I've gotta say I'm pretty satisfied. My student really did his thing out here, and handled the situation quite well." says the Third Individual with a small smirk on his lips. "So, I think I'll help him out with his new lady friend's current predicament." says the Third Individual, causing Isshin to nod.

Finding that these answers were satiable to him, as he spoke again.

"I see. Well, you might wanna hurry up on that, considering Ichigo's friends are almost here now." says Isshin giving his small suggestion while faintly sensing them out now.

"Yeah, I guess you're right." says the Third Individual fixing their clothes, before using Shunpo to move quickly on ahead.

As the Second Individual went to turn his back on Isshin, but not before speaking for a final time.

"I'll see you around later in the week or if the situation calls for it, Isshin. Other than that I'm heading back to what I was previously occupied with handling." says the Second Individual while preparing to leave.

"Fine by me. Just don't be a stranger for too long like you always are." says Isshin while not even bothering to turn his body.

Causing the Second Individual to silently give a stiff nod, before disappearing from sight themselves. Leaving Isshin to look on at Ichigo, and Rukia once more with a small smile on his face.

Now having one thought in mind, before being the last to disappear.

'Hmph. Kinda reminds me of a certain sight years back…' thought Isshin with a small smile on his face.

Now leaving the area himself. As things from Isshin's perspective seemed like they were about to pick up in a haste, quickly too.

Done!, good, bad, don't like it that's on you. So yeah, this is what I've been working on and hashing out for some time. Basically the reason I went ghost on this site for a bit, was to give you this first chapter of my Bleach Story, which obviously took some time to work on. Along with working at my new job, which was better than my last.

Secondly, yes I gave him equaled out powers in terms of how his Shinigami and Quincy powers go. Along with giving him Nejibana, which I'll explain in a later chapter. As I've left a lot in the dark for you to analyze, as we go further into more chapters I put out.

Now as for Ichigo's tattoo's, they all embrace something about him. As for the white dragon tattoo and what it looks like, refer to searching it up in the google search box by typing "Touken Ranbu Ookurikara tattoo" in images, and you'll find the picture in the top row, the sixth image.

Lastly, as I said before in terms of the story, it will follow canon but with a few twists added on. Along with how I pan out what I'd like to change, as this is a fan-fiction. So without anything else to say, please review and I'll see you all for the next chapter.
