Chapter 1: Introducing: Draven

"Not all men are born equal. This is a lesson I had to learn at the age of four. Today roughly 80 percent of the population is born with a special ability called a quirk. Some are fairly useless and random, while some are flashy and powerful and some are dark and villainous. The other 20 percent don't even have any quirk. Now mine was the ability to transfer pain, either physical, mental or emotional to others via touch. Due to this, most kids would bully me and call me names, while others would just pretend I didn't even exist. The adults were somehow even worse. Teachers would ignore the bullying and some would even join in on it from time to time. The only ones who were decent to me were my mother, Inko Midoriya, literally one of the only three adults who would complain to the school about the bullying. The other two were my former best friend, Katsuki Bakugou's parents. Yet somehow their son, Katsuki Bakugo, was the worst of them all. He was the first one to call my quirk villainous and was able to get everyone else to follow his lead. This all came to a head when at the beginning of our senior year of high school he told me the only way I could be a hero was if I took a swan dive off a building and hopefully gained a heroic quirk in my next life. No one, not even the teacher showed any disgust or concern with what Bakugo said, just minor amusement from some and great admiration from the rest. It got even worse later on, after getting attacked by a sludge villain I was saved by All Might. I asked if I could be a hero, even with a villainous quirk and he said it would be hard but I could achieve it. Of course the sludge villain got loose and took Bakugo as a hostage and used his quirk to cause massive amounts of destruction. Due to the fact none of the so-called heroes not having suitable quirks to restrain him, I jumped in and ended up saving him with the assistance of All Might."

"Most people would think that helping end a villain attack and saving a hostage would make people think of me as some kind of hero but that's only true in fiction. As soon as the fires were out and the villain was scooped up I was immediately arrested for vigilantism and spent 30 days in jail. It didn't help that All Might and all the heroes involved went out of their way to say I was a reckless idiot with a deathwish. Not only was I expelled from Aldara, but UA rescinded my application to the hero course."

"Thankfully during my stay in jail my cellmate was a member of the Shie Hassaikai and after hearing my story made a promise to get me a meeting with his boss, a man who called himself Overhaul. Unlike everyone who said I could be anything I wanted, he kept his promise and as soon as I got out I had a place with the Shie Hassaikai. Shockingly they were kind to me and accepted me as one of their own and gave me a place in their compound to live so I could keep my mother safe."

"About a month later Overhaul's six year old niece Eri was sent to live with us because her quirk caused her father to be reverted back to a point before he existed. Originally the plan was to use her DNA to create a serum to erase someone's quirk but unfortunately the original plan was to harvest her DNA by killing and re-assembling her but I was able to point out they could get it easier and more humanly through cheek swabs and the occasional syringe of blood extracted. It only took six months to create the serum, then another three to create bullets that could do the same thing. As a result Eri has sort of become the groups morality chain, especially after Overhaul decided to slowly dis-embowl her mother for calling Eri a monster that should be put down."

"After all this we were contacted by All for One and the League of Villains who wanted to form a partnership in order to truly take down hero society. We accepted immediately and both Shiguraki and All for One were impressed by my analytical skill so much they offered me a place as a member of their group. Of course Overhaul had me accept so I could be a liaison for the two groups."

"Why are you telling me this?" a young adult with blue eyes and brown hair asked.

"I figured if we are working together we should know each other's backstories." Izuku explained, "I'm sorry I never got your name."

"Just call me Rob." Rob replied, "As for me, I was a UA support student a few years ago and one of the combat bots I built tried to kill several students and because I built and designed it I was both expelled and given criminal charges by the hero commission, even though I was able to stop it before anyone got hurt. That was when I was three years ago when I was 20."

"What's your quirk?" Izuku asked in curiosity.

"It's called blueprint. Anything I imagine, the schematics to build it take form in my head, regardless of whether it's scientifically possible or not." Rob explained.

"And what's your endgame?" Izuku asked.

"Don't have one." Rob began, "I just want to build the tools that brings the hero commission down to its knees."

"You're going to fit in here great." Izuku replied.

"By the way, I never got your name either." Rob pointed out.

"My name is Izuku Midoriya, but on the field you can call me Draven."

Authors Note: Chapter 1 of my Villain Deku series. His villain name and quirk are taken from the 1994 movie The Crow. This is based on The Anarchist by BoardAndSleepy2000 so expect further chapters to be light and fun while also being dark at times. And of course my OC returns as a villain also.
