This is my first Baby Daddy fanfic, so go easy on me please!

Danny Wheeler was in the living room of his younger brother Ben Wheeler's apartment watching late night hockey on TV. He was trying not to wake up his brother, their roommate Tucker Dobbs or his niece Emma. "Come on, get it!" Danny whisper-yelled at the TV. But he turned down voulme to hear mumbles of whimpers, at first he thought it was Emma. So he quietly gets up from the couch to check on her, but once he enter the room, Emma was sound asleep. It was his younger brother Ben whimpering.

"No, st-stay away…from E-Emma." He heard Ben mumbles in his sleep.

Danny walks in and sat down facing Ben, trying to wake him up.

"Ben." Danny whispers. "Benny, it's just a dream."

"Benny" was a nickname that Danny always calls him when they were really little, epically when Ben has a nightmare.

"Come on buddy, wake up." Danny begged as Ben shot up fast, out of breath. "Hey, buddy. You ok?" He asked him.

"Where's Emma?" Ben asked.

Danny smiled to himself, he's really proud of his brother and love how Ben loves his daughter to death and would do ANYTHING for her.

"Shh, it's ok Benny. She's here sleeping." Danny told her.

Ben let out a huge reflief, knowing that Emma was safe.

"Oh thanked God." Ben replied.

Danny rubs the back of his head.

"What's was the nightmare?" Danny asked him.

"W-well…I uh…someone was trying to take Emma away from me and I wanted to do something, but couldn't." Ben explained.

Even it was dark in the room, Danny could see the sadness and vurlnable in his baby brother's eyes.

"Shhh, it's ok." Danny said as he held Ben in his arms.

"I felt like a terrible father." Ben cried.

"No, no you are not." Danny told him. "Ben Wheeler, You are not a failure. You are amazing, the best. You are the best friend, brother, son…and of course the best father in the world."

Ben looks up at his brother.

"Emma is really lucky to have you as a father." Danny told him.

Ben sat up, facing his brother.

"You really think I'm a good father?" Ben asked him.

"Of course buddy." Danny assures him. "Wanna know something?"

"What?" Ben asked.

"When we found out that you wanted to keep Emma, mom and I were so proud of you. Emma couldn't be any more lucky to have you as a father." Danny told him making Ben smiled.

"I love her so much, she's my world." Ben said.

"She sure is special." Danny said. "Come on, try getting some sleep." Danny said pulling his little brother in his arm, holding him.

"But I don't want to sleep." Ben says.

"Come on Ben, you have too." Danny told him.

Ben lets out a sigh.

"Shhh, it's ok little brother." Danny comforted him. "Try getting some shut eyes.

Ben finally starts to feel tired as Danny thought back when the boys were in their younger days.

~Flashback~

"Promise you'll never leave me big brother?" 4 years old Ben asked.

"Don't you worry baby brother. I'll ALWAYS be here for you, Benny." 7 years old Danny reply, smiling down at his brother.

"I love you, Dannie." Ben said with a smile.

"I love you too, Benny." Danny said, kissing his head.

~End Of Flashback~

Danny snaps back to reality and looks down at his now sleepy brother, kissing his head, holding him tightly.

"I love you, Benny." Danny says quietly.

Danny would do ANYTHING for his family. He was always protective of Ben.
