The sky was full of twinkling stars. Balls of fire so bright you wouldn't need a flash light to find your way home. Alvara laid on the grass enjoying the view. The crickets chirped in a beautiful pattern. She shouldn't even be out here. If Zero found her or the headmaster she'd be dead for sure. But she just needed to get out. It's been a week since she first got to this academy and it feels suffocating. School work seems to pile up and she hasn't made any friends. Who would want to be friends with her? A girl who was the last survivor of a physcopaths murder spree in her hometown. It was highly suspicious and creepy. Alvara would always replay that fateful day in her head. Coming home from boarding school to see her family lifeless on the ground in a pool of crimson. She didn't know the killer was still
in the house until it was too late. He had knocked her unconscious and hide her in the basement of one of the houses that belonged to another family he had killed.
She had been down in that basement for two months until she escaped. She tricked him and ended his life. Once she did, she didn't have the heart to cry or even tremble in fear. She went up to the kitchen and took a shower before calling the police. During those two months, that man had managed to break a part of her she would never be able to get back. It had made her stronger but also weak.
"Gods, I hate this place." She spoke to herself and got up brushing herself off. Alvara walked back to the girls dormitory and climbed into her room through the window. Everyone was fast asleep. She changed into her pajamas and climbed into her bed where she wouldn't fall asleep until the sun started to come up.
Everyone was at the school gates trying to get closer to the night students. Alvara sat under a tree sleeping tiredly. Everyone gasped in shock as Kaname strode towards the sleeping girl. He bent down and held her small chin in his hand. She looked cute even when she had nightmares. As if on cue, Alvara woke up. The first thing she did was protect herself. In her head, she was back in the basement and the killer was there. She pinned Kaname to the ground and came back to reality before she could hurt him.
"I-Sorry." She stood up and locked eyes with everyone staring at her. She quickly grabbed her bag, shouldered it on, and pushed past everyone to get to class. Zero glared at Kaname his hand on his gun.
"You know the rules. No interaction with the day class." He said in a dead serious voice. He turned to everyone still staring. "GET TO CLASS ALREADY!!!" The day class students jumped and ran to class. Zero followed behind them and took one last look back at Kaname filled with hate.
Alvara skipped class and went to the girls bathroom. She found the loose bricks in the stall and stashed her backpack there then snuck out of the window. She needed to talk to the headmaster.
