CHAPTER START!

A blonde young man at the age of ten was walking through a library, "Hey old hag, I'm done." He said rudely as an elderly woman glared at him.

"Don't think you're off you brat. You damage those rare books and the only reason you're not in jail is that Lord Hokage told me to make you do work to pay them off!" A wrinkly woman said, walking towards Naruto with a crutch. "Now that you're done- WAH~!"

The young man quickly moved as he was barely able to grab the woman from falling to the ground when her walking stick slipped on a piece of paper. She looked at him in shock, "Are you alright?" He asked as the woman nodded slowly to straighten her position to see the child looking at her with slight worry. "Alright, I'm going, I won't leave paint bombs in the old records again." The young child said leaving until he heard the only coughing sound. He turns to see her somewhat wondering about something.

"Take this." She said, giving him a really old looking book, "Maybe having something nice and old will make you respect for the works of art? It's thanks for...saving a trip to the doctor."

"But… there's no pictures." He responded with a grin…

"Please leave and don't come back…" The woman declared not out of hate but annoyance of such a bad response.

The next day, the young man was spending his free time at school reading the story...it was hard to understand the wording but...it was nice. It started out rather boring but the story was rather simple even for a non lover of books like himself.

The following day, the girls started to whisper in slight adoration as the young man quickly changed his ways, inspired by the book he heard to be more like the two characters of this tale. He stops acting too loud and childish to be more formal and serious as it seems to suit them than acting like a child.

Weeks passed, and soon the child went back to his seat after successfully hitting the mark with all his kunai and shurikens without fail like Sasuke. The young boy nodded to Naruto with respect for his sudden increase in skill, but as always the child took out his book, nearing the end, also taking sneak peeks at the end of the book. As he slowly licks the tip of a pencil to draw on it, earning squeals from the female students when he looks sensual when doing it. For some reason, he lost most of his femenine looks as his training when not reading the book inspired him to look more like the story book characters. Now he was more lean yet well built as he spent the days training like a beast to refine his body.

"...He gives up immortality?" The young man gasped softly as the King seemed to finally realize something more important than his quest. He closed the book, before standing up no doubt getting ready for another match to do hand to hand combat.

The blonde boy entered a rundown apartment as he looked at his small area of peace that was still messy and broken down like always. He went to the bathroom too quickly to wash off any dust particles that were too stubborn to leave. "I hate this…" He mumbled walking towards the sink to wash his face and hair.

He was Naruto Uzumaki, an orphan since the Nine-Tailed fox attacked his village, the Hidden Leaf, and was forced to work off his mistake of blowing the library with lots of paints trying to prank a friend from his shinobi academy. He dried his face to see the book he had all this time, it was the best thing to get from his punishment. "Hmm," He opened the storybook and smiled softly, tales that might even rival the Hokage's own life from the days when the village started.

He didn't say anything before opening the book once more, he found something and needed to make sure that he read it right.

DING-DONG~!

"Hm? Who could that be this late at night?" Naruto wondered as he looked at his alarm clock. It was 7P.M. Already this late and someone was at the door? That was odd. Putting on his slippers, and with a stretch of his arms to loosen up, he made his way towards the door and opened it.

He saw the leader of the Village, Sarutobi, The Third Hokage smiling as he held a metal container of no doubt from his favorite ramen stand. Ichiraku...

"Old man Hokage?" Naruto raised his eyebrow.

"I hear you did your best and finished up your punishment, so here's something nice to eat. I'm sorry it took so long, I was busy with work. But you do deserve a small present for doing that, even though it was your punishment," He said smiling kindly as he let himself in the young boy's home. Frowning slightly knowing the kid wasn't able to clean up due to being an orphan.

"Aw sweet! Thanks old man Hokage! You really didn't have to though," Naruto smiled widely as he gratefully accepted the metal container.

"Nonsense. You earned it after a hard day at work." Sarutobi shook his head.

The young smiled sheepishly, it was kinda nice to be somewhere that the villagers' dark looks didn't reach him. "Oh yeah, the old hag… I mean the lady at the Library gave me an old book. I'm pretty sure I was to make sure that I wouldn't paint bomb the place again, but it works...I like it."

The aged shinobi went to the bed where Naruto left it, before picking it up, "Ahh, one of the old ones we found. Normally only…" He stops when reaching the first page, before moving to the next. "Naruto you can read this?"

The boy looked at the man with a slightly angry look in his eyes, "Hey, I'm not the fastest reader but I can at least read basic kanji."

"I wasn't suggesting anything and didn't mean to insult you." Sarutobi placated the young boy. "I just find it odd that you would be capable of reading this."

The young man gave an odd look before taking it, "'And so my friend passed away… and my heart wavered at the thought of death.'" he read out a random line. "See?" He said pointing to the Kanji that was easy for him to read…

Only…

It wasn't Kanji, it was symbols that the old man had never seen in his whole life. Actually, forget symbols, it's a whole entire language that he had never seen before! "Naruto, you could actually read that? Be honest with me now."

"What are you talking about? Of course, I can!"

The Third Hokage looked at the book, it was the same one he gave to Orochimaru many years ago. He too could read it and was obsessed with it, even taking it during the Shinobi war, often driving Tsunade and Jiraiya angry. He always made time to read the book even though they believed he was decoding it than actually reading. Everyone never believed him and just assumed he was playing with them.

"Have you… seen anything odd?" He asked placing the book back down and smiled in hopes Naruto hadn't.

"No, it's a regular book," The young man rolled his eyes as he said as the old man nodded. "Are you staying in Jiji?"

The aging old man shook his head, "No, I came to give your food. Take care. Naruto-kun." He said ruffling up his hair. Naruto grumbled as he swatted the old man's hand away, as he didn't want him to mess it up, as it already is messy as it is. The old man chuckled before he turned around and made his way out of the apartment. Naruto huffed before he looked back down at the book and continued to read for a while longer until he got the end of the book.

Naruto never felt bad before lying to the old man, but it was necessary...throughout reading the book back and front. He had discovered something...little notes that he was able to decipher due to taking time reading the story. Certain chapters lines were dotted very softly to only hint at what it meant. But it told him of a summoning ritual, that can summon beings outside the normal summonings of this world. He was trying with each attempt of little information he had gained, a total of seventeen times. Each a failure...now he has to re-check the last page.

"Let's see." The young man stated as he turned the book. Looking at the back of the book, he drew a small detailed circle. "Huh…" He muttered, seeing the complex circle in front of him. The details were intricate and it somewhat interested him, seeing how it was all symmetrical in design and function. "Is this some sort of summoning circle?" He wondered as the others were just seal attempts like his ninja world way of doing it, no wonder most of the attempts didn't work. Looking back, during classes, even though he never really paid attention, Iruka would show scrolls that had some form of a circle in it which would normally be used for a Summoning Jutsu, but the circle he's seeing in front of him was different.

"..." He took out a piece of paper before sketching the very circle onto it. Slowly and carefully as it was told repeatedly a single mistake can cause death in the worst case. It took him a few minutes, but he was able to finally draw it without making any mistakes. To him, this was his finest accomplishment yet. "..." He stopped as he noticed a small wording on the bottom.

Must use outside the village in case of mistakes.

"Eh? Outside the village? Oh, man… Izumo and Kotetsu better not catch me then…" Naruto sighed, scratching his head. He wasn't worried about being caught if most of the Jonin couldn't find him when he does pranks. It was fine, but night time shifts were more serious in case of attacks or enemy shinobi.

BUT~!

He took it as a challenge… Now where were the banana pepper bombs he was planning on using on the girl's changing rooms?

"IT BURNS~!"

Naruto suppressed the urge to yell out his usual ways of taking credit or laughing at his prank working as he tossed the bomb towards the two eternal Chunin posts when they were staring non-stop for enemies. He quickly moved to the edge of the wall using a rope and hook to run down the wall before hiding into a bush...

"I hope this works…" He said looking over at the page, it was made for summoning. A summoning seal/circle that was made for bringing a hero into this world. A hero from the story he read. Placing the paper on the ground in front of him, he backed away, and wet his finger before lifting it up in the air. "Okay, no wind. Good." He nodded to himself. He pulled out some paint that was planning on a big prank on the Hokage monument, but at least it can be used for this. He had to be perfect as this might be the last chance he got to do it right.

After a long time of making sure it was nothing less than exactly right, he nodded to this idea. It seems good.

PLAY: FateZero OST - Point Zero

The story was about two friends and arrogant King and the only person worthy of being the friend of the King. Naruto loved the two adventures but it was heart-wrenching when the friend died when the petty Goddess of love killed him for killing her Boar… the King was scared of dying and traveled to the underworld to be immortal although didn't take it as he decided to be a wise King.

A King… maybe someone who can beat the Gods and demonic beasts can be a friend to him? Yeah… someone like a King! "Uhh…" He looked at the new strange words that were there, some were not ones he had ever used. Maybe it is okay to mess it up, as Seals only need perfect writing skills. "Uhh… let's see, ah, Listen to my words, my chakra will give you form." He started as the circle glowed red before suddenly expanding nearly ten times its original size. "Your blade will protect me, you will hear my call." Blue lighting started to generate from the circle, as he continued. "Be there for me and become my friend, then answer the summoning! I swear that I will be there for you as well, and fight by your side as your equal!"

A young blonde girl opens her eyes to look down upon her Kingdom before smiling arrogantly at the feeling of leaving this accursed fate…

"Come forth my…" He stopped at the thought, the word was supposed to be Servant but he wanted not that but someone he can trust. He heard something in the book that sounded good, "Betrothed!"

*CRASH~!*

A crimson wind came to the land sending Naruto across the ground as the trees nearby were being sliced like butter against hot metal, the ground gained spider cracks when the force was starting to arrive on the ground. Naruto could only watch in awe and fear from what this supernatural phenomenon was doing. He knew he was gonna get it wrong either way, but he didn't think it would be this bad!

A golden sphere of particles blocked his view of the Summoning, watching as a soft series of laughter came out, it was lovely… it was so beautiful even for someone at his age to care openly. "At last, I have been summoned… Well then are you prepared?" The voices echo throughout the forest. "Cause you must have used up all your luck to summon me."

END OST

Naruto could stare dumbfounded at what he was looking at. This… was certainly unexpected. It wasn't the partner like he wanted to summon, but it was a different person altogether! The first thing he noticed was that the person was a girl. The same age as him, as she was the same height as him, but his blonde hair was even the same hue as her. It was like each strain of hair was made from the shiniest form of gold he had ever seen. Her skin was more radiant than any of the girls he had seen in class, but on her stomach sides were red lines that seem similar to Kiba's family face tattoos. She wore a single black half shirt that covered her budding breasts, while her only lower clothing was black panties that covered her privates.

But the real thing that made Naruto realize something was her accessories, they were made from pure gold! She had an odd golden necklace, small rectangular earrings on her ears, gold bracelet on her left wrist, but armored legs, shin, and boots. She smiled softly as she approached the young man, "Hoo? Something is amiss, I don't feel any of the usual force of being a Servant."

"Uh…" Naruto blinked with wide eyes.

"Answer me, are you my husband?"

"Uh… what...?" Naruto blinked again, her eyes were darting to his own. Clearly an animalistic charm in her blood-red, wine-colored eyes.

"I ask are you-" Her eyes lost any amusement before shifting into an angry glare, "Who dares interrupted the King's special moment with her future mate?" She asked looking behind Naruto who he turned to see Dark cloaked members of the Anbu forces. "You dare not speak?!"

"Naruto, who is this?" A member wearing a cat mask.

"I um…" Naruto got out as he tried to answer. "I… believe it or not, I summoned her here." He admitted.

"That shouldn't be-"

BOOOM!

The woman moved back when a golden flash nearly ended her life as if she had not leaped back from where it hit. "What… an ax?" She said seeing a large war ax that was so deep into the ground that she was sure that only the visible part was only a quarter out. She turned to see the young girl lifting her hand with a golden portal shimmering in the sky as if she was pulling out something. Soon taking out a…

"Uhh…" The captain of the Anbu gulped when he saw what the girl pulled out and gently patted into her hand.

"That's…" The cat masked woman also played as she saw a three-foot baseball bat. Totally in gold… but covered with nails from the end.

"I haven't used this yet, as I was going to save it for the Goddess thot… what is a thot?" She muttered to herself before shaking her head, "Now… bring me my back my treasure, or line up for a spanking~"

"W-Wait, hold on, let's not do that!" Naruto panicked, getting in front of the girl. "Just… let me take care of this. Please?"

The girl saw the boy walking to her, with a worried look that caused her to lower her hand, "...Very well." With that she lost any of the killing intentions, "I am willing to show mercy to fools who do not understand their place. You there, with the mask that tells the lie, wearing a cat feature on your face."

"I think she's talking to you, Neko-san." Naruto translated, thanks to the book, understanding the words to such an archaic way of speaking.

"Y-Yes?" She said knowing that she rather show submissiveness in hopes of not getting attacked by the girl's odd Jutsus.

"Take me to your leader. We will settle this civilly." She declared brushing her long hair to the air, mesmerizing the Shinobi on how dazzling it was in the moonlight.

The woman nodded, "I shall, miss-"

"Archer…" The girl looked down at the woman despite her being taller, as if her words struck a nerve with the young blonde woman. "Your ilk deserves as much than my actual name." She spat out darkly at the woman.

"Of course, Archer."

"But…" She turned her head to smile, an unknown way that the young man had never seen before. "My name is something only those who must know, but given with this world… history." She gazed into the sky in a curious look. "I am the Oldest Hero of Human History, The Archer Class, Gilgamesh!"
