Hello all and welcome to my Redux of Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V: Red Eyes! After much deliberation, I decided to revamp and make it even better than it originally was before! There will be more things to expect out of this redone version.

Now I bet you are all wondering why I didn't move onto the VRAINS series? I shall admit this wholeheartedly, the show doesn't appeal to me as a fan of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Franchise, the Duels taking at least three episodes because of pretty much exposition galore and at the time when this Chapter was written, Aoi and Go have been beaten and absorbed into the Tower of Hanoi... wow... just wow, you could of given more character development for them since they just found their resolve to stop Hanoi but nope, let's leave it to Yusaku as the sole survivor to stop all of this.

Also Revolver's trump card turns out to be a Mirror Force? That's the big feared card? Does nobody in the Yu-Gi-Oh universe look back on old cards? Granted yes, it's been many years and nobody does look into old stuff but glad to see Revolver acknowledges they exist and uses one.

Anyway, enough about me moaning about how much better VRAINS could be, you aren't here to listen to me talk about that, you're here for the story aren't you? Well, I better not keep you all hanging in suspense, please, enjoy the first of many Chapters. -bows courteously-

I do not own Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V or any of its characters, be they existing or appearing in future chapters. I do not own any of the Openings or Endings of Yu-Gi-Oh Arc-V or from any other shows. If I did own any of these things, I'd probably suck at advancing the plot of ARC-V and have a really bad taste in music.

A close up of just Haruto's face looking to the right before the camera zoomed out to show his upper body as behind him was a red background and a silhouette of Red-Eyes appeared for a brief moment before changing completely in a pattern of white lines.

Rettsu faindo! Sou. boku ga iku beki Wei
(Let's find! Yeah, the way I should go)

The next short was of Yuzu looking to the left as the camera panned back, showing a pinkish purple scheme and her bracelet flashing in a brief moment.

Rettsu sutto! Otanoshimi wa kore kara
(Let's start! The fun has just begun)

Yuya has his head lowered before he brings it up, pulling back his goggles to place on his forehead as he had a green background and his pendant swayed from side to side.

Redi go! Riaru no maku ake
(Ready go! Open reality's curtain!)

Haruto, Yuya and Yuzu stood within the stands of entrance way as the camera zoomed in behind them and then rotated around so it faced there three and they each had a smile before the camera zoomed out to show the vast space of the Duel Stadium that was jam packed with people as confetti was falling.

Red-Eyes: Redux

Kitai, fuan no mirai ga ima ugokidasu
(My future, full of worries and expectations is starting now!)

Haruto's duel disk was on standby and he moved to get ready for a duel but paused as Yuya, Yuzu, Gogenzaka approached him from all sides and Haruto had to sheepishly put his hand behind his head, obviously embarrassed.

Tashika na negai ga koko ni aru kara dont worry
(But I've definitely got my wish with me, so don't worry!)

The group turned around to see the various competitors all looking ready to duel.

Akogareta ano hi mezashite boku wa tatakau
(Aiming for that day I've always dreamed of, I'll fight)

Haruto drawn a card and placed it on his Duel Disk as a flash of white occurred and surrounding him was Red-Eyes Black Dragon and Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon, Summoned Skull and it's counterpart, Red Eyes Archfiend of Lightning.

Kirameku tsuyosa ga Kado ni yadoru
(With sparkling strength residing in the cards!)

Haruto gave a smile before it cut away to reveal him flying on Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon's back, soaring with into the sky.

Appu/Daun wo kurikaeshi nagara
(Through the repeating ups and downs)

The LSD top ranking students, Sawatari, Shun, Sora, Reira and Reiji from the bottom up to the top, posing before it zoomed in Reiji's glasses, causing the lens to brighten up and reveal a silhouette.

Firu Itto! Koda ga Ba,Ba,Ba,Bn!
(Feel it! My heartbeat's Bu-Bu-Bu-Burn!)

The scene changed to Duel Monsters cards falling as a silhouette figure looked on ominously behind a glass window and the cards seemingly absorbed into a machine.

Furikitta genkai wo mata norikoete boku wa tsuyoku naru
(I break away and surpass my limits again! I'll get even stronger!)

Haruto was riding Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon as Yuya was flying upwards on Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon and Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon reared back its head to fire upon Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon but then Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon appeared to block the attack as Yuto briefly appeared.

Akirametaku wa nai kara
(Because I don't want to give up!)

Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon and Odd-Eyes Pendulum came at Haruto and Red Eyes Archfiend of Lightning appeared to protect him.

Kasoku suru kaze ni notte mukaerunda
(I ride the ever-accelerating winds and head forth!)

A white silhouetted dragon appeared behind a D-Wheel riding towards the screen and drifted to reveal a young man's face under his helmet.

Ashita sura ito'oshikunaru hodo no boku no yume
(Towards my dream that makes me look forward to tomorrow!)

Red-Eyes Archfiend of Lightning and Dark Rebellion clashed before an explosion occurred, the two monsters obscured from view before Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon and Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon soared out from the smoke, the two dragons letting loose their own respective attacks in mid-collision, causing an even bigger explosion.

Ano kumo wo tsukinukete mabush yume wo aozora ni egako
(I'll break through those clouds, and draw my dazzling dream across the blue skies)

The smoke cleared away to reveal Yuya riding Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon in the clouds and a rocket comes out of nowhere, soaring towards the atmosphere and Kurosaki crossed his arms on Raid Raptors – Rise Falcon before blasting off into the distance.

Haruto stood upon a pillar and gave a smile as before him was Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon, Red-Eyes Archfiend of Lightning and Red-Eyes B. Chick, facing off against a shadowed individual

Rettsu faindo! Sou, boku ga iku beki Wei
(Let's find! Yeah, the way I should go)

The You Show Duel School were cheering on as Yuya and Sawatari were duelling in a decrepit old village, enjoying themselves.

Yuzu and her opponent Masumi are also enjoying themselves in a maze of high walkways as Yuzu held a blank fusion Monster card.

Redi go! Riaru no maku ake

Yuya leapt from from the sky and landed on the Maiami Duel Championship logo as his past opponents along with Yuzu, Gongenzaka,, Yoko, Shuzo, and Haruto, all looking up at the screen.

Chapter 1
The Gemini Duelist

A young girl with long, maroon and dark red hair, similar in style to Ruri's while her hairstyle was held together in a similar fashion of Ruri's and Yuzu with a mix of hair-clips, her clothing being quite similar to the Duel Suit that Rin wore, she also wore a thigh strap, similar to Serena's Duel Academy uniform as she was looked on at the devastation that was being wrought by the massive dragon from a distance without being able to make out any distinctive features but her her facial expression was clearly a saddened one before turning around.

The young girl stood in what appeared to be leftovers of a central park where the vibrant greenery was all the remained with some empty benches and swings ominously moving back and forth with the wind as she walked towards a bench that was occupied by a male messily brown haired male looked at the scenery beyond the park, remnants of once was a bustling metropolis reduced to nothing but rubble as his attire consisted of a long white trench coat that the tailcoats were somewhat more or less ripped while underneath was a black t-shirt with clearly some brown smudged upon it, obliviously dust and his pants were white with more dust and dirt sprayed across them with a pair of black trainers on his feet before he was hunched over, his eyes closed.

"Haru?" The girl addressed the male who opened his eyes which were brown as he looked out to the scenery behind the girl.. "Rei.. what's going on?" Haru asked in a disbelieving tone as Rei stood close to him in front of the bench, before putting a hand to the side of her hair to stop any of it blowing into her face as she too, turned to look back at the destruction.

"I don't know... I never thought someone could be that cruel..." Rei answered solemnly before there was strange noise echoing within the area, it almost sounded like a rhythmic beating before everything turned dark without any reason.

The room was in complete darkness save for a gap in-between the curtains for whatever rays of sunlight could get into the room until a loud beeping noise echoed within which could only belong to a alarm clock, there was some barely audible movement of a quilt and the loud ringing brought to a sudden stop with a thud, a sleepy male voice was heard speaking drowsily. "So annoying…." The youth groaned in irritation and he let out a yawn before the curtains opened up in one wide motion, the light of the sun finally penetrating into the room and the youth had to instinctively cover his eyes with a hand to form some shade as if the bright light would burn him.

The room in question was also more identifiable with sunlight as there was a huge closet of two wooden panels and the middle was a large mirror panel, one which could be moved to fit behind panel to reveal some jackets on coat hangers, the carpet was a dull brown while the walls were just as dull with a yellowish white scheme.

There were some noteworthy objects in the room, a desk with a red and black laptop left open with a black and red racing chair in a swivel chair in front of it, the drawer underneath was pulled out to show there was a black deck box that was open and empty while a deck of cards were face down, the room also had a 40" HD TV atop a chest of draws that housed some ineligible consoles or films names.

The youth who was rather fair skinned returned to sit upon a single sized bed as the quilt was a dark red, the youth let out a yawn then covering his hand over his mouth, his brown hair messed up in various places looking like he had been electrified but it was mainly due the sleep he undergone and it took a few moments before his brain and eyes seemed to register his surroundings more clearly as he was wearing some dark red pyjamas and on his right middle finger was a black ring with the motif being a dragon's face with two rubies serving as its eyes as he got up from the bed, slipping on a pair of black slippers with white wool stuffed on the inside then he moved to open the door and walk down a hallway and opened yet another door leading into the bathroom, turning the cold tap as he placed his hands underneath the running water, splashing his face before he then reached for a hand towel hanging nearby to dry his face, he took a look in the bathroom mirror, his eyes were a surprising dull brown.

"Another dream about her... " The youth thought, it was a recurring one that happened maybe once a month and he did not know why but each time he dreamed that specific one, he could remember it vividly and he breathed. "You're just thinking too much about it, that's why it comes back every so often." The youth thought before a voice called out form the hallway, a feminine one at that.

"Haruto! Are you awake yet?" The woman's voice said and Haruto stepped out from the bathroom and called down the stairs. "Yeah Mum, just give me a few minutes!" Haruto said and there was a sound of distinct satisfaction that he barely heard before he returned to his room to select his attire for the day.

-Kitchen-

Footsteps were heard as Haruto descended down the stairs and stepping inside the kitchen which was just as normal as any other kitchen and dining room would be, he chosen to wear a red shirt with a black short-sleeved jacket with a breast pocket on either side that remained zipped up and two bigger pockets to place his hands in while it also reached his waist, his lower attire consisted of black trousers with a red line going down the side of the pant legs with a black belt with a sliver buckle holding it up as most notably there was the deck box firmly attached on his right hip, his feet had black trainers with red laces, if one looked at the underside, it was red as well, his hair was also more tamer and flat, the hair just short enough to reach the lowest point of his ears as he pulled out a chair where a bowel of cereal filled with milk and a spoon already inside was waiting

"Morning Mum." Haruto politely greeted to a a woman with surprisingly long brown hair flowing down to her back, stopping at her waist and some strands down her front wearing a grey sweater and blue jeans as she was holding what appeared to be a ladle and wearing an kitchen apron, obviously cooking. "Morning honey, your usual is on the table as always." She said and went back into the kitchen as Haruto nodded and clapped his hands in gratitude for the meal. "I'm digging in." Haruto said gratuitously before beginning his breakfast.

"So honey, did you already sign up for the Maiami Duel Championship?" Haruto heard his mother ask and nodded in response. "Yeah, I'm in the Junior Youth Division, I'm quite excited to see what the other Duelists in this city, maybe from other locations has in store, I should probably consider myself lucky that the president of the company handed Dad the invitation to take part, especially considering the move we had only a week ago." Haruto replied in relief a she recalled the previous week.

Haruto's family did recently move into the neighbourhood due to his father,'s work as one of the top designers of Industrial Illusions to help with Leo Corporation's design team and the President had handed his father an invitation for Haruto to have a chance to participate considering his winning record was enough to qualify.

"I hear there is something called an Action Duelling or something? It's supposed to be vastly different comparing to a normal one?" His mother asked thoughtfully and Haruto nodded, he took the time to look up this variant style of Duelling briefly, there were many styles and schools based on it alone. "Yeah, apparently with the Solid Vision creating mass and creating very specific cards made to be scattered around the field that you actually have to move around which could change the game." Haruto replied in awe.

"Well, be far from me to understand all that technology, I heard there are some Duel Schools as well, sorry we didn't find one for you yet, what with the recent things going on." Haruto's mother apologized and Haruto shook his head. "No, it's fine Mum, I'm just happy to have time to go out and look around town, you know, get a feel for the city." Haruto said, finishing off his breakfast and clapped his hands in gratitude. "Thank you for the meal." Haruto respectfully said before pushing the chair out and as he was leaving the living room, his mum called after him.

"Don't forget your Duel Disk! Who knows what you'll encounter right?" She said and Haruto nodded. "Yes Mum!" Haruto called back as he looked at his Duel Disk left upon a chest of drawers in the hallway, it was completely black as he picked it up then attaching it to his wrist, hearing the mechanism click. "I'll be going out, see you soon!" Haruto called to the kitchen and heard his Mum respond. "Okay, be safe dear!" as Haruto opened the door and shut it, the fresh air of Maiami filling his nostrils and with the gentle breeze of the wind and the warmth of the sun shining, down, he set off.

-Maiami City-

Haruto looked around, the city buildings weren't much of a big difference compared to the last place they lived, but here, it was easy to make a landmark out of the LDS Corporation building and he was eager to explore, of course he did use his judgement and looked thoughtful. "Now, where can I find a place to Duel?" Haruto thought and came across a park seeing Duelists about as various monsters filled out the park. "Perfect!" Haruto said lowly under his breath and walked onto the premises, looking for someone to duel.

"Hmm, who is available I wonder..." Haruto murmured to himself until he came across a peculiar scene, a girl who was being held up by a man much taller and well, bulkier than herself, wearing a pair of blue pants and what appeared to be a red sash on his abdomen while his purple shirt with thick pauldrons along a blue jacket with apparently a pair of steel bracers and sandals to make him look and fit the part of being intimidating while the girl on the other hand had blue eyes and dark pink mid back-length hair, which she wore in tied up in pigtails which were held down by blue spherical hair clips with her hair notably featured with two lighter pink bangs that fallen to the side of her face while her outfit consisted of a sleeveless light-blue and white shirt with a musical note on the right collar and a red tie, for her lower body she wore a dark red skirt and dark stockings with light-blue shoes. "I told you before Gen! Yuya is not going to duel you!" The girl said to the one named Gen who leaned over her. "Really now? Perhaps he might get some incentive if I take you as a hostage perhaps?" Gen answered in a threatening tone.

Haruto looked at the scene. "This doesn't sound or look good... I better intervene or I'll regret it." Haruto thought and he walked towards the two, speaking up. "Excuse me, but I think you're being kind of being rude with her." Haruto interrupted rather politely but firmly and the girl looked a bit relieved as Gen turned his attention on Haruto,. "And who are you? Never seen your face around before." Gen asked, sizing him up.

Haruto moved one hand to his waist, bent at an angle as he looked at Gen, not intimidated by the much larger male's presence. "Makoto Haruto, I just moved here not too long ago and I was going to ask her for a Duel actually." Haruto nodded to the girl and Gen spoke. "She's not worth it, I'll give you an introduction instead." Gen said as Haruto looked thoughtful for a moment, his other arm moving up and he cupped his chin in a thoughtful pose, pondering over it as the girl expressed her concern through her facial expression.

"Sure, I'll accept your offer, in fact... How about you go first as to show me the ropes?" Haruto suggested and Gen nodded in agreement as the two moved to their places as the girl took a few steps behind her saviour with an unsure expression upon her features as the Duel Disks activated.

"Let's Duel!"

Gen: 4000
Haruto: 4000

Gen spoke. "I summon Boulder Battleguard in ATK Mode!" as a flash of white light appeared on the green grass before it formed, standing before Gen was an ogre wielding a mace club as the monster was draped in a dark blue cloth, growling.

Boulder Battleguard (LV 4/1200/1500)

"I end my turn there, let's see what you got." Gen said with confidence as Haruto drawn his card, glancing to it briefly before adding it into his hand before picking another one out. "I summon Black Dragon's Chick in ATK mode!" Haruto stated as the familiar flash of light appeared then before him was a small baby black dragon looking like a miniatured Red-Eyes somewhat still in its dragon egg

Black Dragon's Chick (LV 1/800/500)

Gen had to laugh at the ridiculous monster. "You summoned that little thing in ATK mode? My Battleguard will crush it to pieces." Gen said and and the girl looked on in worry. "He'll take damage since he left it in ATK, what is he thinking?" The girl thought in clear concern.

Haruto smiled as the insult unfazed him in the slightest. "I wouldn't underestimate this little chick, do you know the saying that children grow up so fast? Well, my chick is going to demonstrate that because I activate his ability, by sending my Chick to the Graveyard, I can Special Summon from my deck his adult form so come on out, Red Eyes Black Dragon!" A flash of light occurred on the monster before vanishing in its place stood the towering and iconic form of Red Eyes Black Dragon, letting off a roar and Gen was surprised, his eyes bugging out comically.

Red-Eyes Black Dragon (LV 7/2400/2000)

"Red-Eyes?! But that's impossible, nobody uses those old cards!" Gen said in surprise and Haruto spoke. "That's the thing really, people usually forget about these old cards that came before all the different Summoning Methods came along so I decided to remind people that even if a old card like this exists, it still can win against the newer cards of today so... Red-Eyes, how giving that ogre a taste of your infamous breath? Inferno Fire Blast!" Haruto signalled by pointing at the monster in question and Red-Eyes gathered flame in his mouth before shooting out a dark red fireball as it connected with the ogre, destroying it and Gen took damage.

"I'll think I'll end my turn there with one face-down card." Haruto said as a enlarged face-down card appeared behind Red-Eyes Black Dragon, the contents were a complete unknown as it lay close to the ground as Haruto looked at the shocked expression on his opponent's face. "It is certainly a welcome change to see the surprised looks on people's faces on seeing these old cards." Haruto said cheekily and Gen drawn his card.

Gen: 2800
Haruto: 4000

"I won't have you make a mockery of me! I draw and play Monster Reborn to revive my Boulder Battleguard then I summon Granite Battleguard!"

Granite Battleguard - (LV3/1000/1200)

"Then his effect activates I special summon another Boulder Battleguard in my hand!" Granite Battleguard appeared wielding the same mace the Boulder but instead, he wore a red cloth skirt and had blue skin, looking menacingly.

"Now I send all three of my Battle Guards to the Graveyard to Special Summon my Shaman Battleguard in ATK mode" The three battleguards disappeared in a flash of light before melding into one bigger pillar of light as it dispersed, revealing in their place was a monster wearing tribal clothing fit for a shaman with a skull necklace, skull mask and even somehow, the hands being skulls

Shaman Battleguard (LV 10/2000/3000)

"What can you do with that? It's 400 points lower than my Red-Eyes." Haruto pointed out, confused and Gen smirked. "I activate his effect! Once per turn: I can target 1 monster you control and take control of it!" Gen said with a smirk and Haruto widened his eyes. "But that means-!" Haruto looked as the Shaman danced back and forth and Red-Eyes disappeared before appearing on Gen's side of the field.

"Oh no! If this hits, he'll lose all of his LP!" The girl looked, putting her hands together in prayer as sweat escaped down her face as Gen spoke with gleeful tone. "You know you are right, it is a surprise to see the looks on peoples faces when old cards appear right? This is the end, Shaman Battleguard and Red-Eyes Black Dragon will attack your life points directly!" Gen ordered out clearly.

The Shaman dashed in for a swipe before Red-Eyes was charging up its fireball and it made contact, causing smoke as the girl had covered her eyes at the start of the assault before she hesitantly peeked through her the gaps in her fingers and when it parted, Haruto was still standing as the smoke cleared.

Gen: 2800
Haruto: 1800

"W-What, how did you survive? I am pretty sure I just gave you 4400 points worth of damage!" Gen said in disbelief and Haruto looked at his Duel Disk. "It's simple, I activated my face-down card, Reverse Glasses! Yet another old card people have forgotten so here's what it does, until the End Phase of this turn, all monsters ATK is cut in half! so I only received 2200 instead of 4400." Haruto said, showing the card the came out from his Graveyard as he shown it as proof before placing it back. "I end my turn then! But with my Shaman's effect, if you summon a monster with higher ATK than the monster I control, then I can get control of that stronger monster and what's more if I control your monster, you cannot attack Shaman so you're stuck!" as Haruto drawn his card, checking it.

Haruto: 1800

"I see but you know... I don't really like that you stole my monster for your own satisfaction, so I'm going to get him back." Haruto said and Gen looked at him. "Oh? Prove it then!" Gen boasted with confidence as Haruto activated a card. "I activate Owner's Seal, thanks to this card, all cards return to their original owners control. so return to my side Red-Eyes!"

Red-Eyes Black Dragon gave a roar and returned to his side as Gen was a bit stumped. "H-He went back!?" and Haruto continued. "I always put this card in my deck with the possibility that if someone manages to steal my monster, I got a way to get it back and now... since you apparently shown me your ace, it's only fair I show you mine." Haruto said and removed another card from his hand, activating it.

"I'll activate the Spell Card Gemini Tribute, it allows me to target one monster on my side of the field and tribute it to Special Summon a Gemini monster with an equal or lower level, so I select my Red-Eyes Black Dragon and in exchange, I bring out his new and improved form! So come on out, my ace, Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon!"

Red-Eyes Black Dragon disappeared only to be replaced with the same appearance however it now had red wings and there was streak of red on its body.

Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon (LV 7/2400/200)

Gen spoke. "So it got a makeover, what else is new?" Gen said and Haruto continued. "Oh, it's new alright and he is much more dangerous than its tamer form you saw before, I summon Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon!" Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon let off a roar as the wingspan of his wings ignited in flames and in its mouth, there was a faint orange glow down the back of it's throat leading its belly but Gen and the girl's confusion, there wasn't a second Red-Eyes in sight.

"Are you stupid? There's no other dragon here except that one!" Gen said with a laugh and Haruto answered calmly. "Exactly, I summoned him again and with that, I just unlocked his true power! Watch this Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon will attack Shaman Battleguard with Inferno Flare Blast!" Haruto commanded as the monster fired a much denser fireball as it made contact, the Shaman screamed before shattering.

"You only given me 400 points of damage, on my next turn I'll-!" Gen was about to say before Haruto interrupted, holding a hand up with a sheepish smile. "Actually... You won't have a chance for your next turn, you see... if I perform damage battle with my Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon while he is treated as a Gemini monster, his effect activates... So when I end my Battle Phase, I can inflict damage to your LP equal to that of my Dragon's original ATK points which is a grand total of 2400."

The fireball continued its path to Gen and made contact with him, causing an explosion as his LP hit zero, he fell over, dazed and unconscious.

Gen: 0
Haruto: 1800

The girl came up to Haruto as the Disks de-activated and she approached Haruto, bowing. "Thank you for rescuing me." Haruto turned to look at her. "It was no problem and you are...?" Haruto trailed off, now he was getting a good look at the girl, he found himself comparing her to the girl in his dreams, he didn't know why but there was something strangely familiar about her and the girl gave a smile, "Hiiragi Yuzu, nice to meet you." Yuzu introduced herself and she looked to him. "That was a amazing Duel, I never seen such a Deck, perhaps you can join my school!" Yuzu said with excitement and Haruto blinked in confusion.

"Uh, your school?" Haruto asked in utter confusion and Yuzu realized her mistake. "Oh right, I'm in the You Show Duel School, we learn to give the people the wonderful experience and fun of Entertainment Duelling as well do our best to ensure people's lives are happier!" Yuzu explained with a beaming smile and Haruto looked to her. "So um… what do you do exactly in this school?"

"Well we practice with Solid Vision, regularly perform Action Duels as we also coordinate some stunts with our monsters." Yuzu said and noted the look of concern on Haruto's features. "It's all safe of course! We don't risk lives if that's what you are thinking!" Yuzu said hurriedly, waving her hands and Haruto looked at her, intrigued.

"I never done an Action Duel done in person before, I'm interested in what it's like, you see, I haven't exactly learnt much about it for one despite having an invitation to the Maiami Championship." Haruto said sheepishly and Yuzu was surprised, evident in her tone and wide eyes.

"You got an invitation without a school, that's something! Well, would you perhaps come and see our school? We're always looking for new applicants." Yuzu asked and Haruto looked thoughtful for a few moments. "I don't see why I can't look, lead on Miss Hiiragi?" Haruto asked and Yuzu hit his shoulder a bit. "Yuzu's fine!"

The two newly introduced friends walked on with Yuzu slightly a few paces ahead as Haruto thought to himself. "What would a duel with Solid Vision with Mass be like? Perhaps I can ride Red-Eyes!" Haruto was inwardly excited and pumped.

Yuzu meanwhile turned h er head slightly to look the boy behind her. "Haruto... What is this I'm feeling right now? We only just met but for some reason... it doesn't feel that way to me... No, Yuzu! You're just grateful for his help, nothing more!" Yuzu thought, shaking her head slightly to convince herself.

And that is Chapter 1 Redux! Did you like the small edits made compared to the original? I thankfully kept all the original Chapters on my computer so I didn't need to pull up the source material while this first Chapter is mostly the same the original, there are some differences as I suspect you are all are wondering what am I going to do in this that will be different to the original story? Well here are but a few of my plans for Maiami and the overall progression of the story at the current time of writing just to keep you all in suspense.

More Haruto x Serena action and romance, maybe IF I'm feeling very bold and daring, have Yuzu, Rin and Ruri join in to attempt a harem route, please share your thoughts on this idea.

More returning Protagonists from previous series and not just Shark in the original story.

More Haruto x Bracelet Girls interaction to make them more connected to him on a personal level.

Haruto using Ritual Monsters more often as well as I also have recently seen the Xyz, Ritual and Fusion Version of Summoned Skull as well to expand his monster series.

Possibly have Rin and Ruri rescued much earlier than in the canon so they have more screen time since they don't get much of it in the Series and give them what they deserve.

Maiami Duel Championship

Do more Duels in the Championship, explore maybe some of the characters that weren't prominently featured in the anime like for example, the freckled ice Duelist and Indian Fire Duelist since they only got a Tag Duel.

The ideas for the Synchro and Fusion Dimension will be shared when we get to the beginning of the arcs of those Dimensions, however unfortunately YGOPro which I have used to cover cards and such has changed greatly and I am forced to use either Duelling Book or Duelling Nexus as my go-to for cards and also I have imposed a rule upon myself, I won't be churning out ARC-V Redux Chapters one day after they are uploaded and with the positive reviews to immediately write the next one so I don't suffer a burnout, so there may be a new Chapter either on every Sunday or every two Sundays in a month since when I was writing the ARC-V Chapters, I spent 10 hours or so writing up a new Chapter like for example, that Gladiator Beast Chapter in the original took me at least maybe three to four days of consecutive writing meaning all I did was eat, sleep and used the bathroom, couple that with me having my course at the time along partaking in Role-Plays on two different forums as my friend WhiteRose-Aki who was my Beta-Reader for the FF XIII/Wizard Crossover can attest to me solely focusing on writing Chapters while we Skyped.

I won't lie, the positivity I received from my followers in the original helped me greatly to complete ARC-V: Red Eyes, but with the constant cranking out the Chapters , it did make me burn out from it hence the long extended break, however, this time, in the Redux, I want to instead take my time typing up these Chapters and give my only completed story a much better send-off like in the spirit of Persona 4 Golden as I did note I could of done things better, I cannot promise I'll stick to a schedule so the updates may be sporadic as I am also taking time to do KH BBS in my own time since I want to share my love for that game series considering how III's story turned out into... I want to actually enjoy myself doing other things than constantly thinking on what to do next in the stories I write.

To my old followers and the incoming new ones, I hope you understand my wishes since I have re-evaluated myself and decided to things one step at a time than take many steps, until then, this is StardustXtreme and I will see you all in the next Chapter, R&R!
