Chapter 1: Midnight by the Fountain

Legosi walked up and down the entrance of the theater. The cool and crisp Night time breeze swung his fur rythmically. Panicked thoughts rushed through his head. Its been roughly an hour since Rouis and Zoe have dissapered into the theater, leaving the wolf outside to keep guard. The arrogant Deer just forced everyono to do his bidding. Not only being rich, but also ridiculously Popular. But even if he hated his position out here, legosi couldn't help but feel empathy for that poor goat. Rouis was strict and never expected anything less then Perfect. A sudden noise drew his attention back to reality. Quickly legosi hid behind a Pillar holding up the Roof of the Theater. The Sheep student walked past the pillars, nervously checking behind him all the while. There was no reason to judge him for it, it has been less than 24 hours that Tems death was made public. A Wave of sadness washed over legosi as the sheep walked by and dissapeared into the night. The thought of the love letter crossed his mind. The pure pain of Tem, never having the ability to reveal his love made him sadder than he had been before. It just wasnt fair.

One of the Main reasons why legosi tried to pretend that he was weak, was the unfairness of the world. He didnt want to cause fear to anyone. He just wanted to co-exist with everyone. Sometimes he asked himself why he was born a wolf. Wouldnt he make a better Goat ? Or an Alpacca just like Tem was, before a carnivore ripped him out of this world. He sighed and let his head sink. His life was one of many mysteries he would probably never fully understand.

Suddenly his nose twitched as he registered a smell. It was a sweet and tart smell. One that reminded him of a Plate of fresh fruits on a hot summer day. His head was veiled in the beautiful smell. His sadness was now replaced by a flaring sense of Curiosity. What was that scent he picked up? It was familiar and warm, full of Intensity, but it didnt sting his nose like other strong smells often do. like the smell of bleach at the laundroamt.

Legosi walked closer to the source of the smell, it wavered around the Fountain. Illuminated by the soft but bright blue light of the fountain, he stepped closer. That was when he caught a glimpse of her. The reddish brown fur of the young Female wolf sitting at the fountain. He heard her soft crying and sobbing. She had her face burried in her hands. „ehm… are you ok ?" Legosi's voice was full of worry. The Wolfess's Head sprang upwards. He must have scared her to death. „Oh, im sorry… i didnt mean to scare you". „Oh no, its Ok. I shouldnt be here anyway." She wiped away her tears a looked away. „I just had a couple rough encounters thats all." She sounded hurt. „Are you really ok ?" legosi repeated his last question. The Girl looked him in the eyes. The Color of her eyes entchanted him. They looked like gems, hidden away deep under the surface. Unbeknownst to him, she had scanned his form aswell. She hadnt realized it was a fellow grey wolf who had noticed her, and a tall and handsome one at that. „Im… Fine" she looked down. Legosi sat down next to her. „ Is everyone so scared of us ?" she asked. Legosi looked down, just as ashamed as her. „You'll get used to it eventually. If you try hard enough they will maybe forget that your even a Wolf." Legosi sighed. „But not even i have ever achivied that.". he breathed out, sounding defeated and lost. „But im sure you'll find friends. Even the scary ones do" Legosi only now realized what he hzad said. „Not that y-y-your scary." he stuttered. She laughed, „I understand, you just didnt know how to say it well" she smiled. Legosi starred in silence. That Smile radiated from her. He couldnt stop himself from feeling a Satisfying Happiness. It was like a ray of sunlight had entered his cold, grim and desolate World.

„LEGOSI" screamed Zoe from the entrance. „W-W-Well, im sorry… but i need to go" The wolf said as he stood up. The wolfess followed suit and just looked at him for a moment. „Im Juno, im in the drama club" She spoke much more confident now. Legosi was once again in a trance. This Wonderful creature infront of him was in the same club as he was. „LEGOSI, GET OVER HERE. THERE WAS AN ACCIDENT" Zoe shouted again. „You must be legosi then. I hope i see you soon" said juno before wandering out into the night, Legosi couldnt help but to let his eyes follow her form for a couple seconds before he heard zoe shout again. He ran back to zoe, helping him with whatever problem he had, never without juno on his mind.
