Ahoy! Look at me being all productive, posting TWO WHOLE ONE-SHOTS in 24 HOURS! (not that you guys are probably going to read my other one-shot cause it's in a completely different fandom ._.)

Anyway, here is a fluffy little Huna story to warm your shipper hearts, I hope you enjoy!

Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter, or parts of the dialogue that show up in this story. They belong to J K Rowling, and come from book seven

This takes place during the Deathly Hallows

"If you'd like to see what the diadem's supposed to look like, I could take you up to our common room and show you, Harry? Ravenclaw's wearing it in her statue."

Cho had got to her feet to escort Harry to the Ravenclaw common room, in search of the lost diadem, but Ginny said rather fiercely, "No, Luna will take Harry, won't you Luna?"

Harry's stomach churned. He longed to speak to Luna alone, he really did, but how could Ginny expect him to reconcile with her at a time like this!? He knew Ginny shipped them, but wasn't this a bit much?

"Oooh, yes, I'd like to," Luna said happily, and Cho sat down again, looking disappointed.

Neville showed them the way out Luna began leading Harry to the Ravenclaw common room.

The silence between them was, not exactly awkward, but rather uncomfortable and painful for Harry. He wasn't sure what to say to her, as the last two times they'd seen each other he had broken her heart, first with telling her they had to stop seeing each other at Dumbledore's funeral, and the second time at Shell Cottage when he said she couldn't join them in their search for Horcruxes.

Luna meant so much to Harry, he did not want her to be hurt. He wanted to say something, apologize to her at least. He just wasn't sure how.

Harry pulled the Invisibility Cloak around the two of them, pulling them much closer together. Harry stiffened, feeling Luna's body so close beside his, but then relaxed against her. In Luna's presence he couldn't help but notice that the pain in his scar had dimmed, only slightly, but still enough for him to see straight.

She brought a calming presence over him, made him feel as though things would be okay. This was of untrue, but it helped none the less.

"This way, Harry," breathed Luna, plucking his sleeve and pulling him toward a spiral staircase.

She did not seem upset with him, and though it was quite rare for Luna to get upset, Harry still felt as though she had the right to be angry, or sad, or something. But she wasn't. Because she was Luna.

"Luna?" he finally whispered, wanting to say something. "I-"

But she cut him off by pressing a delicate finger to his lips.

"It's alright, Harry," she told him, her voice barely a whisper. "I know."

"You forgive me?" Harry asked.

She smiled at him and said, "Of course. I know why you had to do what you did. It was to protect me. I was never angry at you in the first place."

Relief flooded through Harry's veins, momentarily blocking out the prickling of his scar.

"I'm still in love with you, Harry Potter," Luna continued.

Harry smiled at her. "I'm still in love with you too, Luna."

Luna's smile glimmered in the darkness of the castle, and she grabbed the front of Harry's robes. She pulled him down and pressed a kiss to his lips.

It only lasted for a moment, spreading warmth through Harry's body. It made him remember how much he had missed her sweet kisses.

As soon as she pulled away he felt the pain of the war come back, but not as intensely as before.

She grasped his hand and lead him to the Ravenclaw common room.

"Come on, let's find that diadem," she whispered to him, and not a word more.

Harry thought of Luna's kiss as he walked into the forest. He remembered her sweet scent and the way her small hands had clasped the front of his clothes, pulling him down to her shorter level.

The kiss, so short and yet so powerful, gave Harry the courage to face Voldemort for the final time.

After the Dark Lord fell, Luna was the first to reach Harry, the first to throw her arms around him, followed very closely by Ron and Hermione. She hugged him tightly, wrapping her arms and legs around him, whooping in triumph.

Everyone was around him, determined to touch the Boy Who Lived, the reason it was all over at last-

But all that mattered was Luna. Harry held onto her tightly, so happy for it to finally be over. His friends crowded around him and filled him with joy and relief.

When Luna finally pulled back to smile at him, beam at him with her big, bright blue eyes, he pecked her nose with a kiss, causing her to laugh happily.

Harry loved Luna, he loved everything about her. Her laugh, her quirks, her smile, her strong, blunt personality...

She was there for him the whole way. Every funeral, every hearing, every step as they put the Wizarding World back together.

Harry abandoned his dream of becoming an Auror, and instead became the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher at Hogwarts, while Luna pursued a career in Magizoology.

They faced life together, as partner's, as lover's, and as the best of friends.

All was well.
