Akatsuki's POV...Reminiscing...Just letting you know; this will be a slightly shorter chapter. You will see elements and areas from the DMC games, including DmC, along with DxD elements throughout this story. Sometimes it will just be enemies, sometimes it will be actual places and events. It just depends. Also, Vali will be a cross between Vergil and himself, both in Personality and Looks. Akatsuki will be a cross between Dante and Nero, again both in Personality and Looks. Rizevim will also be taking the role of Sparda, with ole' Grandpa Lucifer taking the role of Mundus, being the one person who told a low-ranking member of the Khaos Brigade to tell Sirzechs where Rizevim and Eva were, being the one who started the whole thing. Alright, let's get going on! Also, if you have any ideas for fics, let me know. So, we'll see. So yeah, let's go.

I never really understood it, the reason for the original war. But, either way, my father, Rizevim Lucifer, one of the first Devil Kings, was a fighter. He was bound and determined to fight, to keep things the way that they were originally, until he met my mother, Eva. Typically, back then, Devils and Humans had nothing to do with each other. My mother changed all of that, all the while changing my father as well.

They got married in secret, all because of the fact that my father's faction would disapprove, considering him a traitor. Then, because my mother was pregnant with my brother and I, they hid away. Father no longer cared which faction won, he simply wanted to be there for his family. My mother had changed his life forever.

Mother and Father were hidden for as long as they could be with Vali and I. My father, knowing that his high levels of Demonic Energy would get us into trouble, split it into three swords, named the Sparda, Rebellion, and Yamato. The Yamato was given to Vali, the older twin, and I received Rebellion. The Sparda, however, was hidden away, deep in Lucifer Territory. The Rebellion and Yamato were cool and all, but it was pretty obvious that the Sparda was Father's pride and joy.

Yeah, Father was training us to be able to fight, especially when we manifested our Sacred Gears, the Divine Dividing and the Boosted Gear, just in case we needed to defend ourselves. And then, things happened. We were found out. The other side, led by Sirzechs Gremory, who had been told where we were hidden by a member of the Khaos Faction, broke into our home. Everything that I ever cared about, taken away.

Fire was everywhere. Father was nowhere to be found. Vali was gone. Even Mom was gone and dead. I was alone in the world, just me, the Boosted Gear, with Ddraig, the Dragon of Domination, sealed inside, and the Rebellion. However, I was a Lucifer. A Lucifer never gives up.

So, I kept Rebellion in front of me, and had Boosted my energy to my maximum of five times. I was prepared to fight for my life. But I didn't have to. Everyone wanted me dead, but Sirzechs claimed me, and brought me back to the Gremory House. I was told that, some day, when I was older, I could return to Lucifer Territory and reclaim my birthright, as I was the last remaining Lucifer alive...or so I thought.

Little did I know at that time, but my brother was not dead as I had assumed previously. He was found and taken in by members of the Khaos Brigade and was trained to become the strongest Dragon Emperor. Vali, the person who was originally much kinder than anyone that I have ever met, changed into a monster. And, like Father would say, all paths always intersect more than once. I just had to prepare myself for Vali's return.

Present Day...

I sigh, swinging Rebellion around as I enter a fighting stance "Alright, big, gray and ugly, you asked for it."

I charged forward, the scales of my Devil Trigger glowing with energy as King Cerberus, the Demon Dog guarding the 'Temple of Lucifer', roared. This wasn't gonna be easy, but I had to get it done. I doubt the legends are true, but if the Sparda is in there, I have to get it before Vali. Luckily, I was pretty sure that my brother didn't even know about this place.

All I had to do was get the killing blow, and then, maybe I could make this dog's Soul submit and get myself a new Devil Arm. After that, I'm going for my Old Man's sword. If I can get it first, then, we're good.

So, as all three of Cerberus' heads launch attacks at me, I spin out of the way as the Boosted Gear summons itself, Ddraig rumbling "[Can we get this over with soon? We've got things to do!]"

I roll my eyes "Fine, fine. Let's get this over with. Dragon Shot!"

My Dragon Aura flared and then shot forward, condensed into a little ball as I cut through Cerberus' body, destroying it. I grunt, cracking my neck as I return to normal, Cerberus' body starting to glow. It was time...but I didn't have all the time in the world. I promised Grayfia that I would be home soon.

The new Devil Arm shrunk down and I attached it to my keychain with the other two before heading in. Was I surprised about what was in the Temple? Yes. Was it any good, namely the Sparda? Of course not. It was Dad's second sword, Merciless. It wasn't even able to channel magic, which was sad.

So, I left it where it was, having to get back. Ddraig and I opened a portal, and away, we went. Grayfia doesn't like it when I'm late. She gets...violent. My cheek still hurts from the last time I was late.

When I reappeared, I checked to make sure I still had my clothes, my sword and guns, and my keychain. I might be classified as a Super Devil, and even had my King Piece turn into a Mutation Piece, but I still have trouble with Teleporting without losing my clothes. It's embarrassing, I know.

After I reentered the building, the silver haired Lucifage was there, a small smile on her face "So, how were you today, Kacchan?"

I yawn, pulling the shorter girl close "Tired. Been busy. What's going on here?"

She sighs, her head laying on my shoulder as we stand there "Did you hear Rias-sama is getting married to Riser Phenex? Her Pawn, the Black Dragon Emperor, is not too happy."

I sigh "She can never stay out of trouble, can she? Do I need to break Rias out? I'm going to break Rias out."

Grayfia smiles slightly, nodding "Sirzechs-sama and Georgia-nee thought you might say that. Everything falls onto you, Akatsuki. If you lose, it will be for the greater good of the Underground, but Rias-chan will never be happy again. If you win, Rias-chan will be happy, but at what cost?"

I chuckle as Ddraig rumbles "[Come on, Grayfia-san, you already know the kid. He's going to wreck Phenex's day, simply because he can.]"

The silver haired girl nods slightly "Yeah, I know. Just figured I would let him know. Oh, that's right. Riser has agreed that if you win, he will trade you Ravel Phenex to become your other Bishop...speaking of Bishops, where is Kuroka-chan?"

I smile "Good, I'm happy to finally get Raves out of there, like I promised. When is this fabled fight? As for Kuroka-chan, she's in Kyoto for a couple of days. Said something about visiting a friend."

Before Grayfia could respond, in broke a brunette boy, wielding a black gauntlet and sword combo, growling "You're not gonna save Buchou-sama! I will, and then I'll be the one to suck on those glorious globes as a reward!"

I grunt calmly as the intruder paces around "And who are you?"

The brown-haired boy growls "My name is Issei Hyoudou, Pawn of Rias Gremory, and the Black Dragon Emperor, as well as future Harem King! Who the hell are you?!"

I grin ferally, letting out a little bit of my aura as Grayfia rolls her eyes "The name is Akatsuki Lucifer, the Head of the Lucifer Clan, the Red Dragon Emperor, the one who fought the Devil King and Rias to be able to keep his Bishop, and won, and cohort of Rias Gremory. I've known her since childhood, so I know her better than you. If you want to save her, prove your mettle. Riser Phenex is strong, not to mention can heal from any wound. From what I hear, you haven't even unlocked Balance Breaker. Without it, you don't even stand a chance. Do you really think that I'm gonna let you ruin Rias' chances at freedom for one simple thing like your wants? She's practically my sister, idiot. How about this, we'll go outside and spar. If you can knock me on my ass, you can go save Rias."

Before I could say anything more, Akeno Himejima, Rias' Queen and one of my closest friends, along with the rest of her Peerage, came in. I smile "How's it going? Long time no see, eh?"

The ravenette girl wraps me into a hug, her large breasts squishing against my chest "I'm so happy you're alright! Fi-chan told me you had a run-in with the King of the Cerberus Tribe?"

I nod, pulling my keychain up to display the Cerberus Devil Arm I had just recently earned. I couldn't help it, the first thing I thought was that at least I had something to one-up Vali with if we ever met again. I bet he had a Cerberus Devil Arm, but I had the King!

Before I could say anything else, Issei coughs into his hand "Buchou to save here?"

Ddraig rumbles "[He's right, better not keep him and the Dark-One waiting.]"

I grunt "Dark-One? Who the hell is that?"

My Dragon Partner grunts "[Remember when I told you about Bahamut, the Destruction Dragon, and how he got sealed away before we did? That is the Dark-One. Issei Hyoudou truly is the Black Dragon Emperor, being the bearer of the Calamity Catalyst. Be very wary of him kid.]"

I nod, gesturing "Go. I'm coming with you. We'll settle this like men."

Five Minutes Later...

I sigh "Ebony and Ivory haven't managed to get any playtime, but because I'm nice, they'll stay in their holsters. Rebellion won't bite you in the ass either. I'll just stick with my fists."

I could tell Issei was pissed that I wasn't giving him my full attention, but I also didn't want the end to come too soon. It's not every day that I get to fight the Black Dragon Emperor...plus, I would need to save Rias and Ravel soon. I can't let them get hurt.

Issei charges at me and I grin "Ddraig, let's kick his ass, Dragon-to-Dragon."

My best buddy, and Partner-in-Crime, smiles "[Kid, I like the way you think.]"

[Balance Breaker: Welsh Dragon Scale Mail!]

As my crimson and green dragon armor forms, I clash my fists together, grinning "Hope you are ready to get your ass handed to you. Just because I'm not going all out doesn't mean I'm going easy on you."

Yeah, I'll be honest. I absolutely trounced Issei. Granted I had my Scale Mail unlocked and had both enough practice and energy to keep it maintained for over a month, but still. Poor Issei didn't even stand a chance. I mauled him into next week, and it was hilarious. I could tell he wasn't ready though, because Issei didn't know really any sort of magic, and the bare minimum for Swordsmanship. So yeah, I am glad that I won.

I sighed, cracking my back as I return to normal "So, now that I've won, when do I go save Rias?"

Grayfia, having watched the whole thing with the others, shakes her head "Always moving on to the next thing, eh? Well, Kuroka-chan will be back within a day. Also, tomorrow, at night, is your challenge with Riser Phenex. I would suggest getting ready."

I roll my eyes "Come on Grayfia, it's me we're talking. I'm always ready!"

Instantly, the silver-haired girl grabbed hold of my cheek and pulled as hard as she could. Tears came to my eyes due to the familiar punishment. I squealed in pain "Grayfia! It hurts, Grayfia! It hurts! What did I do?!"

Looking coldly at me, she rumbles "You need to stop being so cocky, Akatsuki-kun. Seriously."

Rapidly, I bow "I'm sorry, oh Soft Silver-Haired Goddess of Kindness! Please forgive me!"

Yeah, this is how it usually goes. I get all puffed up and Grayfia cuts me down. Kuroka sometimes does it, but trust me, Grayfia is more efficient. She is terrifying, and that's coming from someone who faces off against giant demons day in, and day out.

The Next Day...

I yawn, sitting down with my big bowl of Ice Cream, my favorite brand of Strawberry Ice Cream to be exact, when I felt a very familiar pair of arms wrap themselves around me "Good Morning, Kuro-chan. When'd you get back from Kyoto? Did you have fun?"

My black-haired Nekoshou Bishop that I fought Sirzechs and Rias, and even Sona's sister, Serafall, to protect, smiled "Morning, Kacchan. Kyoto was nice, I mostly trained with Meguri-san and Yasaka-sama, and even a little bit with Sun Wukong-sama. I missed you...it was cold!"

I grunt, grinning cheekily as I gulp down my bowl, ignoring the small hint of Brain Freeze "I feel like that's just what I am to you and Grayfia, just a body to be used!"

Ah, yes. It's fun when your two Peerage Members are also your girlfriends. In my defense, it was their idea. Kuroka and Grayfia both practically jumped me, so yeah. I just ran with it, and here I am.

I grunt "Did I tell you that I'm fighting Riser later tonight?"

Kuroka blinks, her golden eyes glowing "You're what?! What do you mean?! Why are you fighting Burnt Chicken Boy?"

I shrug "Well, both of us know I don't really need a reason, I mean, come on. But, besides that, Rias is trapped in an engagement with him, and we made a deal. If I beat him in one-on-one combat, he not only walks away from Rias' engagement, but I will also trade my second Bishop Piece for Ravel afterwards. So yeah."

Kuroka grumbles "You're an idiot. You know that? Why would you do that? You know that Phoenixes are cheaters, one and all. He probably has some sort of plan for you or something!"

I shrug "Eh, I figured. That's what makes life more interesting, obviously! I mean, come on, what is he gonna do, tickle me to death? I'm pretty sure that Devil Trigger can handle Phoenix Flames, relatively well. And if not, Scale Mail can do the trick."

Ddraig rumbles "[Actually that's not true. The Cat's correct. You do need to be careful.]"

I sigh "That takes the fun out of everything."

The black-haired Nekoshou behind me growls and I groan "Fine. I'll 'be careful'. Does that make you happier?"

Kuroka rumbles "It'd be better if you didn't fight Phenex at all, so then I wouldn't have to worry about you, but I know you're trying to be nice, so that works for me."

I nod, getting up as she clings to me "Good. Now if you could kindly let me go, I need to do a little bit of training."

I'm sure you know what happened. Kuroka didn't let go. So, I spent the day with a short Nekoshou on my back. Oh well, could have been worse. Could have been Grayfia yanking my cheek out of place the entire day. Like seriously, that would have hurt so bad, I can feel it in my bones.

(Author sighs) "There you guys go. The first chapter of the DxD/DmC Crossover. I'll try my best not to screw this one up, along with the other fics. And, once I know how I want it to go, I'm going to get another chapter of the Black Knight of Kyoto out. It will be awesome, and we're going to be able to see Shirou and Vali's fight, and Xenovia and Artemis, and even a couple of other girls wanting to get a little Shirou action, and Kuroka and Raynare both getting jealous and wanting Shirou to knock them up as well, and Yasaka and Shirou thinking about planning a wedding. Should be interesting, no? Anyway, the next chapter, which is purely experimental and depends on you guys for the story to continue, will be interesting. We'll be able to see Akatsuki take on Riser, showing off his skills. We'll be able to see Rias beg Akatsuki to train Issei, alongside Tannin. We'll be able to see a sneak peek of Vali too, along with a possible lemon. Alright, I've got things to do, you all probably have things to do, so peace out and see you in the next one!"
