This story is dedicated to my friend, Stacey. It's short, but sweet.

He stood there. No tears had been shed yet. Only this morning did he realize that this hadn't been a nightmare. She was really gone. He stood in front of the gravestone that read; 'Alexandra Taylor: Taken took soon'.

"You're really gone." Ty whispered. His shaking hand touched the cold stone. He shivered, It felt cold and impersonal, and not like the hot flesh he used to touch. He was looking into her gorgeous blue eyes anymore. He stared at the dying red rose beside the cold and impersonal stone.

"You're really gone." He repeated. Ty took in a deep breath. He could feel a sting in the back of his throat, "I'm so sorry I didn't do something for you."

He wasn't sure if he meant the accident or their relationship. Now that she was six feet under his feet, he knew that her had messed up. He didn't tell her that he loved her. He didn't treat their relationship like it meant something.

"I'm sorry for treating you like shit. If I could change everything I would. If I could see your smile...your eyes...I'd be happy. Selfish huh?" Ty sighed softly.

It wasn't selfish to want Alex back. It couldn't be. Everyone would love to have her back, to hear her laughter and to be able to hold her in his or her arms again.

"I regret not doing more with you, not exploring our relationship...was it even one? I'd be o happy to feel you in my arms again. I want to kiss you." Ty whispered. Finally, a single tear slid down his cheek.

Ty knelt down in front of the cold and impersonal stone. Ty's heart pounded as he thought about never seeing her again. More tears slid down his cheeks as he started to fully cry.

"I m-messed up. Alex, God come back to me please." Ty closed his eyes to control his emotions. He was still crying for five minutes and then he opened them again.

"IS he there with you? Is your father holding your hand?" Ty whispered, "I know you missed him so I hope he is there laughing and making you feel happy. Take care of her sir."

"Ty! You're going to be late for your shift." Carlos stood next to the car. Ty sighed and nodded.

"Yeah, I'm coming." Ty stood up and patted the stone. "I love you, Baby." He walked to the car, wiping his eyes. She was gone, but never forgotten.
