Itachi's eyes can do a lot more than just lie, though.
When Sasuke wakes up, he remembers doing things he's never done. His fingers curl in the hospital sheets, convulsive and frightened, disgusted and needy. In his mind, still, a vision of that man smirking at him, seeing through him. Mocking him by using those eyes to show him a hallucination of what he's fucked up enough to want.
He covers his face with one hand and pretends not to remember the sight of Itachi moving beneath him.
