"Cassie?" he asked bewilderedly.
"Yeah, Jake it's me." I replied.
We learned a long time ago to skip the pleasantries. "What is it Cassie?"
"It's bad Jake." I sighed.
"How bad?"
"Very."
"Yeerks?" he asked.
"Yes," I answered.
