Prologue:

The Witchblade.

A legendary item that has passed down through a line of women. Thou no man can weild the gaulent, there is one man whose destiny is to be as close to the wearer and to the Witchblade as any man.

The man is the Companion, Guardien of the Weilder.

He is her other half. Just as the man is the companion to the weilder just is so the ring the man weilds is to the gaulent. The ring created from the remain metal of gaulent when it was formed. The ring. A single piece of silver formed into the shape of a dragon to represent power, and protection. The ring's power is great. The time has come for all to be reunited. But the question remains. Who has the Ring chosen?
