Disclaimer: I own one character.
A/N: This was a birthday present for Devlinn Reiko-Sama and I just got around to posting it. I hope you all enjoy this first chapter, and I'm open to any suggestions. I also put a rather fun BryanKai story that my friend wrote for me at Adult FanFiction.
"Dante!" The little five years old scampered down the stairs at the sound of his father's voice. He brushed back a black bang as he ran into the kitchen.
"Hi Papa!" Tala looked down at his son, blue eyes sparkling.
"I
don't suppose you've seen your 'mother'?"
Blue
eyes with a slight gold tint went crossed as he thought back. One
small fang peeked out as he nibbled at his lip.
"I
think he's out side with Lahja." Tala picked Dante up and set
him on his shoulders, ducking as he left the kitchen.
Rei
was indeed on the back porch, playing with their Black Lab.
"Rei."
The neko-jin stood up, golden eyes shining as he looked at his
family. At the World Tournament, had anyone told him that he was
going to fall in love with Tala and then bear his child he would have
laughed in their face.
But
here he was. Dante jumped from Tala's shoulders into Rei's arms,
giggling as the neko-jin deftly caught him. Rei brushed a hand
through Dante's hair, the color his own black but the style Tala's.
Dante wriggled from his parent's grip and slipped down to the deck,
landing with the grace of a cat.
He
grabbed the tennis ball and tossed it, smiling in delight as the
young puppy went shooting after the yellow ball. Rei wrapped an arm
around Tala's waist, his head falling to the redhead's shoulder.
"I love you Tala." Tala kissed the black spikes.
"I love you too Rei." Dante looked up at his parents, nose wrinkled in disgust.
"Would
you two not do that?"
Rei
leaned down and kissed Dante on the forehead, ignoring his son's look
of disgust.
"Don't knock it until you try it. Now go get cleaned up. You have to go see Kai today." The little boy ran back into the house, the puppy following behind. Tala sank down into a lawn chair, dragging his lover with him.
"Kai's in for a surprise." Rei leaned back into Tala's warmth.
"Yes he is."
