Well I just figured out the chapter button. Smacks self over the head therefore here is Picards version or you know what happens to him. Well please don't forget to R&R . thank you!
Picard awoke with a start. Breathing heavily he got out of bed. The images from his dream were too real. He felt cold seat trickle down his face as he reached the replicator. Still trying to calm himself down he paced a bit. Slowly he was ready to order something either then movement.
"Warm milk with a dash of nutmeg." He said softly as he walked back to the replicator.
The familiar hum of the replication made appear his drink. He picked it up and sipped the liquid. He put the mug down and sat on his couch. Picard picked up the artifact he recently found. It was an old book with a latch. He guessed it was from the early 1800's. He undid the latch and began to read the first page.

Picard turned the page carefully. With its age it could easily be ripped.
May 6, 1805I learnt today the value of love. For I did not realise how much she ment to me. Though I believe it was my promoton to Captian that made me give her up. It should not have. I feel very much sadened for my loss.
In fact I think the only thing I do in my spare time is think about her. Her eyes were my favorite. Blue like the ocean. I could only lose myself in them. Perhaps I should write a letter to her. Explain my love and my mistakes. Wish her well with her new engagement.
He closed the book. Even a Captian from the 1800s loved. Why could he not see it? I hide too much. I hide too much from the pain. It has been several months. I should get on with my life. I suppose there are other, but none who I have been with are right. He sighed once more and returned to bed.
He lay there for several minutes. Without thinking of anything. Slowly he drifted back to the dream realm.
