End of one journey...

Jules Winnfield pressed the release clip on his 9mm, ejecting the empty magazine as he watched the vampire crumple to dust: the last round had pierced its heart. A fresh magazine clicked in reassuringly. He re-holstered his weapon, the familiar weight tugging at his belt.

"Thanks." The short blond woman he'd saved ran a hand through her hair, "More of them then I first thought."

"What in the hell was that?"

"That was a vampire."

"They for real?"

"Yeah."

"Cool. I dig."

"You're taking this very well for a first-timer."

"God once saved my life. I happen to believe for a reason. Now I know what that reason is."
