White, the color white everywhere. The guests cheered at the happy couple in the center of the room drinking and eating happily.

The ringing of a glass could be heard.

"Attention, attention." The sound of a woman's voce sounded throughout the room gathering everyones attention. "My names Sango if you don't know, the maid of honor, now is everyone well fed?"

Hoots and hollers were heard "Good cause guess what the dollar dance is about to begin. But you love them so much it's going to be the one hundred dollar dance right?" emphasizing on the hundred part, earning a laugh from the crowd.

"Alright people bring out the wallets we accept cash, check, charge as long as you have a valid form of photo i.d"

"Sango" the bride responded

"Alright. Alright, don't get your garter all loose." Thankfully she didn't say that into the mic.

The dance went on and on soon the happy couple didn't have anymore places to put the cash.

"Alright people last chance to brake the bank. After that Conga Line."

She was finishing a dance when a man came up behind her placing a small this golden chain around her neck. She looked down, around her neck she saw a heart shaped locket. She turned around instantly knowing who it was.

"Hey" he said

"You made it." She said softly

"Only for you"

She slipped her dainty hand into his palm remembering those days of dancing underneath the night skies.

"So how've you been?" she said

"Good. And you?"

"Alright. I'm married now"

"I can see"

They looked into each others eyes for a second remember the times

"I missed you"

"I missed you too"

"Are you happy?"

"Actually" she turned around to look at her husband laughing and drinking with his friends that had the last dance "I am, at first I was sad, unhappy and then he came. Kind of forced me to open up and taught me how to love again."

"I never meant to..."

"No need to explain, I understand... you fell in love before me and you made a promise, and you always keep them."

"I'm sorry"

"No don't be, without you I wouldn't of found him" gesturing to her now drunk husband.

The song ended, he pulled her close to him, trying to make an imprint of her in his mind, to remind him of someone he will never have, someone he let slip because of a promise he made as a foolish young adult.

"Aishiteruze Kagome"

Her eyes clenched tight, doing this was so hard. She let got of him once could she do it for the second time?

"Kagome" she turned around to see her husbands face "Time to cut the cake."

She force a smile on her face and nodded.

She turned back around "I have to go"

"Please, say it one more time?"

"I can't, I'm sorry, I have to go" she peeled away from his grasps, letting him hug thin air.

He watched as she ran to her husband, wishing he was in that spot.

He watched in envy as the groom embraced her something he should have been doing.

He watched as they cut they cake and fed it to one another.

He couldn't take is anymore he had to get out. He made his way through the crowd going unnoticed by the rest of the crowd except one cerulean eyed beauty.

He made his way down the steps "why did I come?" he cried to no one in particular.

"Cause you had to close the door." He turned to see his angel descending down the steps "Thank you for closing it."

"No thank you for keeping it open this long"

"Only for you." She ran down into his open arms

"Aishiteruze...Inuyasha." She whispered into his ear, giving him a kiss on his cheek, she gave him one last glance before heading back to her future.

He looked back at her retreating form.

"Aishiteruze Kagome, Aishiteruze."
