A/N: Could somebody please tell me what time and channel Teen Titans is on? If you watch YTV to watch it, that is. Otherwise, i'll probably have no idea what you're talking about.....If you know, please review and tell me, k?
Raven was bored. And what better way to have some fun than to torment her fellow titans? Or maybe she'd just been around Beast boy too long.
She'd found some mistletoe earlier, and had been tempted to throw it out. But she knew Starfire would want an explanation of this new earth custom. So she'd kept it. And now she'd figured out the perfect way to teach Starfire about mistletoe.
A few hours later, Starfire and Robin walked into the living room at the same time. Raven had been waiting in her spot by the fireplace all day, and they'd each come in at different times. It had been driving her crazy. But now was her chance.
She waited until they were pretty close together, and made sure the mistletoe was hanging in place. And then she trapped them together in a bubble.
"What the-" Robin said, pushing on the walls of the dark bubble.
"Friend Raven?" Starfire asked, confused.
"Mistletoe," Raven said, and Robin looked up. Starfire still looked confused.
"You're kidding, right?" Robin said, turning to face her.
"No. Sorry. Starfire doesn't know what mistletoe is. I thought maybe you could tell her," Raven looked pleased with herself, and Robin looked nervous.
Starfire quickly clued in. "What is this new tradition, friends?" She fixed her gaze on the mistletoe.
"It's nothing, really Star," Robin said hurriedly.
"But who will tell me of this kistletoe?" Raven grinned at Starfire's unknown pun.
"Raven will explain it to you," Robin said, pushing again on the bubble.
"No, I think Robin is going to teach you," she replied.
"For Heaven's sake, Raven, please," he said, giving her the Robin equivalent of puppy dog eyes.
"The bubble won't go away unless you kiss. Christmas spirit, Robin."
"Fine," he replied, giving Starfire a quick kiss on the cheek. He blushed like mad, but Starfire just looked pleased.
"I mean really kiss her, Robin," Raven said, rolling her eyes.
Starfire was giving them both confused looks. Robin seemed to be trying very hard not to cry, and Raven's smirk was unfaltering. They held each other's gaze as Star fired off questions at each of them.
"Fine," he replied and kissed Starfire squarely on the lips. Raven released the bubble and walked off, smirking. Robin ran off as well. They left Starfire in the living room trying to figure out what had just happened.
"Robin?" Starfire asked softly as she tapped on the door.
"Go away Starfire," Robin replied, voice muffled through the door. But he soon found that Starfire wasn't going to let it go. She spent the next twenty minutes knocking on his door and yammering away.
Raven was listening from her room, fighting the urge to laugh.
"Come in," he said finally.
"That was very…..nice today. Under that kissof toe," Starfire said cheerily, as if she were trying to lighten the mood. Robin couldn't help himself. He had to laugh, and he laughed for a long, long time.
As Raven would have put it, Starfire sat grinning like, well, Starfire, Robin had obviously snapped, Beast Boy and Cyborg walked past a few times each with first perplexed, then amused, then terrified faces.
A/N: I revised it, so it is a Star/Robin. Sorry for those of you who liked it better before…..I guess I could have kept it as well…..Whoops. Please review. I can stand any pairing except for Star/Robin, but this idea was so perfect….Poor Robin
