I'm not a big DAT fan but this came to me as I was watching it. It will be my one and only fic so please enjoy and please review

"Please listen to me!" I wish they could hear me, I wish my voice was louder, I wish they would believe me, I wish I didn't have to beg.

A little girl holds tight onto her mother's frozen hand. Her eyes wide in fear, her eyes fresh with tears. It's too much for her to understand, it's too soon for her life to end. She blinks and turns away, pulled away by her mother. She follows, trusting her mom will keep her safe. She pulled her teddy tighter under her arm, it's keeping her warm and making her feel like she has a friend in the new harsh world who feels what she feels.

"You have to believe me!" I wish I was warm, I wish I was dry, I wish I was anywhere else but here. I wish my friends were safe and I wish they would believe me"

A teenager not much younger than him. He doesn't have his parents to calm him down, tell him everything is going to be okay. His cheeks are rosy red from the chill that's been blowing through the halls of the library. He wears his coat like a blanket, held together by two shaking hands. If only he hadn't crashed the car last weekend he would have been on holiday in south Africa with his family. He can imagine the heat but it doesn't warm his heart. He looks to the police officer. He must trust his with his life. He believes he will lead him back to safety. He barges past Sam, his heavy shoulder knocking him back.

"You all have to stay!" I wish I wasn't right, I wish my dad wasn't right, I wish I hadn't got on the plane, I wish my dad would hurry, I wish these wishes would come true.

An old couple huddled together. Their whole bodies shook from the cold and the shock. Their hands grabbed at each others coats and scarves, needing to be as close as possible. They had matching bags under theirs eyes, the events too tiring for them. Their eyes locked, their long life together and the love they shared mirrored in their eyes. They knew they wouldn't make it. They knew their was no point in trying but their frail old bodies were carried along by the mass. By the people who did have hollow hope, by the people who ignored the lone boy who pleaded with them to stay. Who held his arms out and shouted at the top of his lungs, who is desperation grabbed at people and tried to hold them back. By the people who pushed past him, who pushed him to the ground.

"If you don't stay you will die!" I wish I didn't have to say I told you so, I wish they would listen to me, I wish they would stay, I wish I wasn't ignored , I wish I didn't have to see the faces of the children and the mothers and husbands and wives that are going to die, I wish their last thoughts aren't of me.
