Take me away

"A minor setback." The First paced back and forth across the remains of the Hellmouth, its few remaining servants watching it with growing fear of its wrath; "I will have my revenge."

"Wise man says: forgive and forget." A new voice spoke up, "You are not going to hurt anyone."

"And who are you?" The First span round, and came face-to-face with a blond haired girl, no older than eleven.

"I'm Allie." The girl smiled, "And I'm a Vampire Slayer."

A Turok-Han leapt at the young girl, only to disappear in a flash of light.

"That wasn't very nice." Allie tilted her head to the side, and the other demons vanished, "This isn't what I normally do, but you can't fight destiny."

"What are you?" The First asked, a hint of fear in its voice.

"I'm your worst nightmare: a Slayer with powers that rival your own."

"Now play nice." A short, grey alien stepped out from behind a bolder, "It isn't fair to taunt lower beings like that."

"I will crush you." The First backed away defensively, "You can not stop me."

"Well, you can't say I didn't try and end this peacefully." Allie turned to the First, "Look at me."

The First looked at the young Slayer, and its eyes went wide in abject terror at what it say. It flashed back to its natural shape, before disappearing, retreating to its place of imprisonment.

"All your fears and all your memories, all at once." Allie shrugged, "I don't think we'll have any more trouble from them for a while."

"I am glad that you did not hurt it." The alien nodded, "You showed great restraint."

"Who says I didn't hurt it? Maybe not physically, but defiantly emotionally."

"You still have much to learn."

"You're not my mother."

"No, I'm your great-grandfather."

"Any you need me more than I need you: remember that."

"You have much of your parents in you."

"I thought that was the idea?"

"In many ways, it is. So, what do you plan to do next?"

"I'm going to go to L.A. and visit a group who call themselves the Senior Partners."

"Why do I have a feeling that L.A. is about to become a lot quieter?"

The End
