Prolong

In a small house in Southern London during a terrible all storm a lovely blonde beauty was having a hard time. Her sear friend was helping her as best as she could, but the woman was losing the battle. "Push Diana," A middle age women demanded to the young woman laying on the bed in a puddle of her own sweat "Come on you have to do this now."

"I'm trying," Diana yelled as it thundered outside, "Jane, I don't think I can keep this up. It hurts and I'm so tired."

"It's not much longer. I can see the head," Jane assured the blonde, "Just a few more big pushes."

"Alright, then, lets do this," Diana assured her friend then sits up and pushed down on another contraction as the storm whipped outside.

Minutes later the baby's cry filled the room. "Oh, Dina she's beautiful. She looks just like you," Jane said cutting the cord and washing the baby off.

The beautiful baby had her mother's bone structure and light, white blonde hair. As soon as Jane placed the baby into her mother's arms the storm calmed down outside but neither women in the room noticed. Jane then went about cleaning up the room. "Oh, little one, I wish your father could see you. He would ne so proud. You are so beautiful," Diana cried softly, "Remember your promise, Jane?"

"Yes, I do, Diana, but wont you be alright now?" Jane cried with her friend.

"No, I can feel my magic leaving me. I am getting very weak. The curse is in its final stage now. I'm going to use what I have left to place a very powerful glamour on her. Then I want you to take her out of this room and care for her like you promised," Diana said staring at her newborn not at her friend.

"Alright, Diana," Then Jane just stared as Diana raised her wand and started to mumble under her breath, placing the charm on her precious child.

It only took minutes then Diana laid back obviously exhausted. Take her Jane," Diana said.

Jane was amazed as she always was with her friend's ability to do magic and right in front of her eyes the baby's features changed in front of her eyes. "Right," was all Jane could say as she carried the baby out of the room, leaving her friend like she wished.

Jane knew what she would find the next morning but went in to check on the young women all the same. Her intuition had been right the young women was dead. She had finally died after a horribly tiring last few months. Jane knew her friend was suffering throughout her pregnancy and was glad she was at peace now. They had a small ceremony and buried the body in a near by cemetery. They went on with their lives as they had promised so many nights before. AS they cleared out the room Diana had been living in, to set it up got the child. They found a large trunk and a note on top of it.

Dear Jane & George

If it wasn't for you both my child and I would have died that day so many months age. Thank you both for all you have done for me and my daughter. This trunk belongs to her. It can only be open by her. Please give it to her on her 18th birthday. It is safer for her to not know about me till then. I have already done adoption papers and they are attached to this letter. The glamour I put on her is so powerful it will last till she is ready to take it off. I have made sure she resembles Jane. Thank you both again. I will be watching over you all. See you in the afterlife.

Your Dear Friend

Diana

PS. I have given her the nameā€¦.
