"Torn Apart"
Kal Takane Veras
Author's Note: Wow. Just…wow. Thanks to everyone who has supported me throughout this time. I really see how far I've advanced. From a no-name to a revered author who has a successful humor series below his belt. I think you know who you are.
Special thanks to razzkat, who wrote a rather nice description of me in her profile. That was really nice.
I wrote this because I was feeling rather down today, even though Thanksgiving is coming up. I really don't have much to be thankful for…except for my family, friends, stories, computer, and stuffed dolphin. (blushes) Woops, forget the last part.
I don't usually write Star Fox poetry (as a matter of fact, this is my first one) but I really needed to get something out of my system.
Enjoy.

Remember the days I shared with you
Remember the serene sky blue
Remember the sun, blazing bright and gold
Remember the snow, white and cold.
Forget the times you used to cry
Forget the tears from you and I.
Forget the memories from afar
Just embrace the moments with the stars.
Fight for the seconds lost forever
Fight for what you forsake never.
Fight to avenge your father's blood
Envelop your foes in a raging flood
Your world shatters as you look at me
But just fight until we are all free
Remember everything you have at heart
Think of the day when we were...
Torn apart

I doubt you liked it-after all, it's 11:00 and I'm supposed to be asleep, but please review. If you didn't like it, say so.
