Love is in the air
Chapter 15 – Happy day!
Will looked at herself in the mirror. She couldn't believe it! Very, very soon she was going to get married! Her wedding was in three days! Only three days!
"You will be the most beautiful bride! I am so proud!" Susan said, with her eyes filled with tears of joy.
"Thank you, mom," Will smiled. "I am so happy! I never thought that he would be the one for me. But he is the sweetest person I have ever met besides you, although he may not show it from the beginning! Oh, I just wish that my friends could see me now…" she sighed.
"Your wish, darling, you can never know when it comes true..." Susan smiled mysteriously.
"Why do you say that?" the redhead asked confused.
In that moment Elyon came in. She was wearing on top of her head her sign of power, the Meridian crown.
"You look lovely, Will!" she said.
"So do you, Elyon, but what's that on top of your head?" Will asked, amazed by the crown's beauty.
"Do you like it? It's a small gift from my older brother."
"I love it!"
"Great, because I have a small gift for you as well."
Will took the box from Elyon and opened it. It was a Meridian crown! Smaller, but still, there it was, in her hands.
"Don't forget," Elyon smiled, "you will become a princess too, if you marry my brother!"
"Thank you so much, Elyon!"
Susan placed the small crown on her daughter's head. It looked really pretty, and soon she could wear it! The two young girls hugged.
"We better get going, we have to meet with… everyone in the big hall. It's a little surprise. Are you ready, girls?" Susan asked.
"Really? A surprise? Well then, let's go!"
They went downstairs; for some time now, the castle wasn't so dark anymore. Almost everyone was feeling happy.
When they arrived in the middle of the hall, Cedric came and took gently his love to one side of the room. Susan also stepped back to the sideways.
"Hmm… W-What is going on here, guys?" Will asked, feeling a bit weird because she had been left there in the middle.
"I have something for you, Will. I hope this makes you very happy."
Will easily recognized her love's voice. Prince Phobos was there… But… There were several people behind him… What was happening? Who were they?
And just then Phobos moved to the left and she could clearly see them now.
She burst into tears, laughing and crying at the same time, while looking at her best friends: Irma, Taranee, Hay Lin and Caleb holding Cornelia's hand. They were all smiling. And they ran towards her, hugged her and explained to her how they had misunderstood everything… Elyon came too next to them and now they were all happy again!
When everyone calmed down, Phobos came closer to his Will; she hugged him, thanking him a lot, because she knew that her friends wouldn't have believed her so easily if he hadn't talked to them.
"You're welcome, beautiful. At least this is what I could do for you; you, the one that changed me into a better man and the one who I love so much!" Phobos said, kissing her cheek.
"I am the happiest person now! Thank you again, Phobos, for making it all possible! I love you too, very much!" Will whispered to the prince, while holding tight to him.
Susan was also very happy. She didn't know much about this place Meridian, about the people here, or even about the guardian thing, the heart of Candracar and about Phobos and Cedric.
But she felt just fine seeing everyone happy and together… And then came Blunk, with a really big surprise! He was wearing an elegant suit, and he had taken a bath; the little creature was smiling at everyone.
"Blunk clean! Very clean! Special ocasion for all friends of Blunk! That includes nasty Phobos who isn't nasty anymore and snake man Cedric who doesn't want to eat Blunk! They all friends of Blunk!" he (or it) said, shaking hands, while everyone was laughing and having a really great time.
"I am very glad that things worked out that well, right my sweet lord?" Elyon asked Cedric, while resting her head on his shoulder.
"Of course, dear princess. Not long ago, I was so afraid that I might lose you… But now you are here, with me, and you seem to get along very well with my prince."
"Yes, my brother is very nice and I think that we care one for another. Also I'm happy for him and Will. Everything is all right now…" she leaned and kissed Cedric on the cheek.
"Yes… It really is…" the blond lord answered, turning around so he could kiss her. And then they just hugged tight one another…
"You know, this is one of the happiest days for me!" Elyon said with a big smile.
