Dedicated to RedNovember. This is a poem about the feelings of a certain character in her story "The Hunter and the Pray" And is done in the perspective of "Love thy Enemy" You can decide if it's Zuko or Katara.

One hundred years ago,

I should have killed you on first sight,

Should have bled you dry,

But you changed me

My angel I'm not who I was

I walk in eternal darkness

Without you, my love, my light,

One hundred years ago,

If you had told me I would love you,

I would sneer and walk away,

But you changed me

My darling I'm a new person,

Because the goodness in your heart,

Fur filled me, set me free

But now you walk in eternal darkness,

Without me, my love, my doom

One hundred years ago,

If I had known what I would do,

I would have died a thousand deaths,

To save you,

But I changed you,

My sweet, I betrayed you,

Because I was impure

I was the demon flame that consumed you,

And if I could do it over,

I would, and will

One hundred years ago,

I knew not life,

I was meant to kill you,

I loved you,

But my angel, you killed me

And bound me, for ever within your wings

One hundred years ago,
