Hi. So, I got a request for a Ginny/ Draco fic. Yes, I know, not my usual style, but who am I to disappoint a loyal fan? So, I did the best I could, having never done one of these before, and I hope you enjoy it.
DC: Not mine.

If you put an ice cube over fire, the ice melts. If you pour a bucket of ice of a roaring fire, it dies.
Fire and Ice don't mix well. Actually, they don't mix at all. And that's the way it was with Draco Malfoy and I.
I was a beautiful person, with flaming read hair, and a temper to match. He was a beautiful person, with icy silver eyes, and an attitude to match.
A lot in common, you might say. But notice some key words. "Flaming, icy." Fire and ice.
That's what the two of us were. Fire and ice. We weren't meant to be together. It was impossible to be together.
But there's thing thing in all of us that makes us want what we can't have.
But we led different lives. I went on day by day, living the life of a 'smart but sassy good girl'. He had the reputation of a 'bad boy'.
But there were days when our eyes would meet. And it was like it was only the two of us. I could feel his eyes, probing my soul, studying it.
Never was a word spoken between us, but I could tell. There was something there. I didn't know what, but there was something that I wasn't seeing. So, I confronted him.
Once again, there were no words spoken.
All I knew was that I felt his lips hit mine, and I was lost.
You see, right then, there was a moment. A single moment when we defied science, and fire met ice. And in that moment, anything was possible.
Butas he pulled away, I could tell we both knew. There was no way we would make it.
Fire and ice don't mix well. In fact, they don't mix at all.

What'd you think, for a first timer? I hope you liked it. Kind short, but that's okay. R&R, and remember, flames are for arsonists!
