A/N: After reading the few (but quite good) Inuyasha/Buffy crossovers on FFNet, I suddenly got the urge to add one of my own, while hopefully not ripping anyone else off. This starts in the Season Three episode 'Doppelgangland' on the premise that if Willow's magic could go wild and pull in Vamp!Willow, what might happen if that magic reached a bit (Okay, a lot) farther? And since I haven't seen any Buffy beyond Third Season, I can cheerfully ignore any notion of what's supposed to happen. So, presenting...
Disclaimer: Just in case anyone would, for some reason, want to sue me, here's the disclaimer; I don't own either InuYasha or Buffy, they belong to Rumiko Takahashi and Joss Whedon, who are like unto Gods to me.

Anya smiled as she spoke the words of power, hearing Willow echo them perfectly. Just a bit longer, and she'd have her necklace back. Then, she'd be back to being Anyanka the Vengeance Demon, instead of Anya the School Girl. Sure, it meant creating a temporal paradox, reaching into what could easily be termed a small corner of Hell, and probably angering any number of devils and demons, but anything was better than being mortal.
"Child to the Mother."
Anya smiled as the tiny fragment that remained of her demonic self told her that already the gates of Time were weakening in response to her little summoning ritual.
"The River to the Sea."
Such a helpful little witch this Willow was! She'd have to remember to thank her when this was all over. Maybe give her a freebie, if she ever needed some vengeance done. Now then.. just a few more words, and the offering to the Eternal One..
"Arishon, hear my prayer."
And both witch and demon poured in unison the sacred sand, sealing the ritual. Anya's smile was beautific as the pull began, and dark magics flowed.
The smile faded as the flashes began - memories or visions, she didn't know which, of the Master's alternate demension. the librarian Giles tossed up against a wall. The alternate Willow, complete with black leather, red lace, and vampiric face. Granted, it had been a long time since she had been desperate enough to try this ritual… centuries, millenia even, but she was certain this had not happened before.
Something was interfering with the summons.
As the magics spun out of control, the visions changed - no longer the hellrealm, now the pictures were in a different vein. A view of a boy in a red kimono. A schoolgirl with long, black hair. A battered, rusty sword. A strangely glowing jewel. A well that was somehow more than that.
There was a flash of azure light, blinding in its intensity. She heard the Willow girl cry out, though whether in pain or something else she didn't know.
And a voice cut through the torrent of wild magics, strong and powerful and very, very bewildered.
" What.. the hell.. was that? "
Anya Emerson, formerly Anyanka the Vengeance Demon, replied the only way she could think of.
"Shit."
