A/N: LOOK OUT! CRACK PAIRING AHEAD! Lol, okay, it's not bad. It's only a little fluff, I wouldn't actually write a hot "lemon" fic about these two. Warning, it's corny! XD

I don't own Star Trek: TNG (no duh)

"EEK!" Deanna Troi squealed as she bolted up right in her bed, sweat dripping down her face and soaking her pillow.

A dream. It was just a dream. A big, stupid dream. She sighed, wiping the sweat off her face and laying her her head back down slowly. She thought about it, the dream really made no sense. She sighed again and shook her head in disbelief.

"Man, I have got to stop reading those horror novels before I go to bed."

She groaned and pulled the covers up to her face. She wasn't one to have nightmares usually, but that book... well, let's just say it WAS pretty intence.

She snuggled into the covers and closed her eyes, readying herself for that sleep she needed so much. It was then someone buzzed her doorbell.

"Come in." She mumbled, not wanting to get out of her nice, warm bed. She didn't have too, for the person came in on his own. The person was a tall young man with almost black hair and pale eyes. Yet there was something odd about him. He had pale green-silver skin, even his lips were a greeny color, and he had an extremely emotionless look on his face, like he had no feelings at all. It was Data, the android.

"Oh, hi Data." Deanna mumbled, looking at her robotic friend with a tired smile.

"I sensed a disturbance in your quarters, Counsellor ." Data said. "Is everything alright?"

Deanna sighed and nodded, blinking.

"Yeah, just a bad dream."

Data walked over to her and looked at her face.

"You have been crying I see. In my study of humans I have found out that crying is a sign of unhappiness." Data pointed out. Deanna got up and looked in the mirror. She had indeed been crying. Her face was splotchy and she had tears running down her face.

"I guess that dream really got to me." Deanna said, trying to laugh, but not doing a very good job of it.

"Is there anything that I may do for you to make you feel better?" Data asked, cocking his head back. Deanna shook her head.

"No, I think I'll be alright. Thank you though."

For awhile the two sat on the bed quietly. Deanna didn't mind though, she actually liked having the company, even if it was from an emotionless android.

Suddenly, Data got up and walked over to Deanna. Bending down he leaned his head to her's and gently kissed her on the lips. Giving a bit of a shocked yelp, Deanna jumped up, facing Data.

"Why did you do that for Data?" She asked him, trying to keep the embaressment out of her voice. Confused, Data replied,

"I had thought that when a person kissed an other person, it was meant to make them feel better."

Deanna sighed, trying to keep from laughing.

"Well, sort of. You see Data, it's alright to kiss a person, but sometimes you need to tell them before. Sometimes Data, a kiss means something more sexual, like the person has feelings for the other person."

Data gave a thoughtful look.

"I apologize." He said. "I had not been told that."

Deanna smiled and wiped some of her messy hair out of her face.

"It's okay Data, there was no harm done." She said, putting her hand to her hot feeling cheeks "Holy crap, I'm blushing!"

Data gave a bit of a nod and motioned to the door.

"I must go now. I have some important work to finish."

Right as he was about to leave, Deanna stopped him.

"Wait." She said. Walking over to him she stood up on her toes and kissed him gently on cheek. Putting his hand up to his cheek he nodded.

"I will see you in the morning. Good night." He said to Deanna. She nodded and smiled as he left the room.

"You too." She said. She sighed as she went back to bed. She knew she would have a good sleep tonight.
