RK: Kanichiwa everyone! (grins) RK here and I am proud to present my latest poem, Foo-

Ed: baaaaka!

RK: . . . ummm. . .okaaay.

Ed: (sweatdrop) you idiot, this poem isn't knew, you wrote it almost half a year ago!

RK: oh, is that all? It never got posted because I wasn't able to, but I'm posting it now so nya! (sticks out tongue) This poem is called fool, and it's from Youko Kuramas pov (scoots Ed out of the picture)

Also! This work of art (sweatdrop) poem thing yeah is made possible by Chiisai Mu! The plot of this poem comes from her amazing and heartbreaking story, Fox and Fool, which you should really read before this (sweatdrop) So all credit goes to her, as it was her beautiful lyrical writing that inspired me to write this, one of my better poems (hopefully!).

Disclaimer: I don't own Yu Yu Hakusho or even the plot of this poem! Just the word arrangement itself!

:Fool:

Shivering and shimmering beneath my touch

Jewels of long forgotten lords

That for this I love so much

I weave into my soul

Pearls of gray and blue

For time to make me evermore

Beautiful to you

You whom I'd take and break and love

You whom I'd trick to think

That we were one soul and life to live

And then one life to sink

In my hands your arrogant heart

That covets me so

And in your mind

My cold gold eyes that silently tell you 'no'

In this game that we play

Where you are my fool

And I am the fox that you could not catch

And you are stupid and blind

To not see the clouds and not see that mine

Were motives of greed and lust

So you the fool shall die today

And I shall hear you scream my name

And I shall drink up all your pain

As I would drink fine wine

And only when you cease to be

Shall I the fox

Turn to flee

As only now do I realize

It was love I saw reflected in you eyes

And now I am the fool

RK: (grinning) there are a few parts I still don't quite feel strong about, but I think that's as good as I can get it! Again, the plot of the poem, and my inspiration comes from Chiisai Mu, and I would strongly advise you to read her works, they are brilliant! I have two of them on my favorites list, but it would be easier to simply look her up (sweatdrop). Please review! Hugs and fox plushies to all reviewers, oh, and my undying gratitude! Ja ne!
