Post-It Notes
Ratings/Warnings: K/None
Summary: Yugi puts a Post-It Note on Yami. Then they kiss. YYxY.
Disclaimer: I don't own Yu-Gi-Oh! and I don't own Post-It Notes. By using these elements in my story I am not making any money.
Author's Notes: Umm...this is just really dumb and pointless, I'll admit it. I just spent the day labeling my house and friends and thought that this would be fun.
My room, Yugi wrote clearly on a pink piece of square paper, then peeled it off slowly and pressed it on his door, a small smile on his face. Grandpa, who had been in a paperwork-signing frenzy that morning, was using the Post-It notes to remind himself and his co-workers on his newest dig of where to sign.
Yugi took them with something else on his mind.
Opening the door, Yugi peered inside of his room and looked at Yami, who was reading a book on their bed; he was lying on his stomach. The smile now completely different on the light's face, Yugi crept into the space, scribbling something new on the sticky paper.
"Aibou," Yami said contentedly, marking his novel as he looked up towards his lover. His perfectly-shaped eyebrows furrowed slightly when he saw the smile on the other's face, "What are you doing?"
Yugi looked up at Yami, his violet eyes glinting as he shook his head avidly, choosing not to answer. He finished his symbol, then sat down on the bed beside the other. "Nothing," he finally said, then peeled his post-it off again and stuck it to Yami's forehead.
Yami smirked before reaching up to remove the paper; it was getting in the way of his sight. It said Yami in neat Kanji. "Yes, I am."
"I know. I just wanted to post it on you so that I wouldn't forget," Yugi smiled, "So could you put it back on?"
Yami raised a pierced eyebrow, but did as requested before leaning over to give his hikari a kiss on the lips. They were soft on his own.
"I love you, Yami," He said, then moved off to post names on other items. Yami sighed, shaking his head a little, then went back to his book.
Yugi went around the room slowly, marking things like bed, dresser, and shelf. Every time he peeled a new piece of paper off of the book, he would look towards Yami, wondering just how much attention was on him. Once the taller male was completely immersed in his novel (probably a romance), Yugi scribbled once last thing on the Post-It and crept back over to Yami.
Yami blinked, not even noticing the other; his book must have been good, and it looked like he was almost done with it. Yugi smirked, knowing full-well that Yami wouldn't be reading for much longer tonight.
"Yami," Yugi whispered, then stuck his paper on Yami's bottom lip, which was hanging open slightly in his concentration. The Pharaoh blinked again, then closed his mouth a little before removing the offending Post-It from his skin. He took a look at it: kiss. He smirked, then looked up at the other once more.
Yugi smirked again, "I didn't want to forget."
Smiling himself, Yami stood up from the bed and pulled Yugi into his arms. His light felt comfortable and warm in his grasp; Yami loved that feeling. He bent and cocked his head before leaning down to press his lips to Yugi's in a mind blowing kiss. "I don't think that you will."
The smaller's voice was light and flitting, and before conceding to his Yami's mouth he reached up and knocked the other post it off of his forehead. "I don't think that I will, either."
End.
Author's Notes: See? I told you that this was pointless. There wasn't even a lime. :shrugs: Oh well.
