It had been simple, really. The group of five always hung out at each other's houses once a week for a simple study session. This week, it had been Riku's turn to invite the group to his house. He was expecting them to actually get some work done (unlike when they're at Sora's house, where they just play games all the time), but he certainly didn't expect this.

"Geez, Riku… I heard your room was neat, but this is like, completely neat freak. With capital letters."

"Shut it, Roxas. At least my room is cleaner than yours."

"At least mine's better than Sora's," Roxas mumbled.

"Hey!" Sora cried indignantly from the door. "At least I'm not the geek!"

"Geek?" Kairi asked, perfectly matching Riku's raised eyebrow.

"Riku is so totally a geek. He looks good, is popular, gets good marks, even gets praise from teachers! If that isn't geeky, then what is?"

"Getting good marks and praise doesn't mean you're a geek," Riku huffed. "Look at Kairi, she gets good marks and praise too. So does Nami."

"But you're popular with the girls," Roxas pointed out.

"Even guys who crush on you complain about your marks!" Kairi giggled.

Riku groaned, "So what? They just suck, like Sora." He was so grateful Naminé was making tea downstairs. Although she was quieter, she probably would have found the most useful point in proving he was a geek.

Giving his trademark pout, Sora hastily denied Riku's insult. "I do not suck! You're just too geeky!"

"Are not!"

"Are too!"

"Are not!"

"Are too!" Roxas chimed in as well.

"Are n—HEY! Why are you on his side!"

"I agree, you are too a geek!" Kairi joined in playfully.

"ARE NOT!"

"ARE TOO!" The offending trio spoke at once.

"ARE N—"

"Umm, the tea's done…" Naminé spoke shyly from the door, reluctant to interrupt the ridiculous argument.

"Naminé, Riku's a geek isn't he? He gets good marks, his room is organized as hell, and he gets honours every year. There's just something wrong with that!"

Naminé just smiled and turned toward the stairs. "In that case, at least he spends time with non-geeks." And with that, she left.

"…." The room was silent for a moment, before everyone started to get up. As Roxas and Kairi walked down the stairs, Sora threw one more insult at Riku.

"You nerd."

"SORA! I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!"

The other three just made sure not to get in Riku's way.
