Insert boring, depressing disclaimer here

"DiNozzo! Wake up you idiot!"

Kate just stared down at her partner, lying passed-out on the floor in front of the elevator. She tried to lift his shoulders to wake him up but he was too heavy at the awkward position she was sat.

"For chrissakes DiNozzo, how heavy are you!"

She sighed and started tapping the side of his face, gently at first but harsher as she got more and more infuriated with him.

"Wake up you big Oof! I'm in a hurry! What do I have to do to get you to wake up?"

She sighed again as she pondered what sort of philandering comment would have slipped out of his mouth if he could have responded.

"What do you want DiNozzo? A date? A kiss? Better speak up!"

She went back to shaking his shoulders roughly.

"Do you have any idea how much trouble we're gonna be in if we're late to this meeting? I'm sorry I rushed out of the elevator without looking and accidentally knocked you unconscious with a hockey stick. Just wake up already and stop being a sook!"

Kate bit her lip as she began to worry. Maybe he was hurt more seriously than she'd guessed. No, he couldn't be. It was only a small knock, he was fine. Just then she thought she saw his eyes flicker.

"Tony? You with me?" She frowned when he didn't respond. She was sure his breathing had changed. But he couldn't be faking, could he?

Kate looked back over her shoulder and scanned the corridor. Still no sign of anyone. She held her breath, leant down closer and kissed him ever so softly on the lips. She felt his hand on the back of her head as he kissed her back. She smiled into the kiss before pulling away.

"You're an ass!" she laughed and whacked him on the arm before getting to her feet. She started to hurry down the corridor.

"You're the one who kissed me," he replied as he tried to control the dizziness in his head when he sat up.

"I didn't kiss you… it was… CPR," she tossed over her shoulder innocently.

Tony simply shook his head in disbelief as he sat there cross-legged in the middle of the corridor.
