"That one looks like a hippogriff jumping through a ring of fire."

When no response was forthcoming, Ginny looked to the side and saw that Harry was just starring at her. She sighed and then smiled as she looked back up at the cumulus clouds slowly drifting over Black Lake. The grass underneath her felt scratchy on her legs but she wasn't about to move. This was one of those times that she would treasure, just laying next to Harry and talking about nothing.

It had been two weeks since the professor and Harry had returned back to Hogwarts. At first it seemed as if poor Harry couldn't settle in. He was constantly being followed by besotted girls and students that were fascinated by everything he did. The worst were the large group of girls who would bump into him on "accident" and then giggle madly with their friends. Harry would hide out for hours on end in the dungeon with his father. It had made Ginny angry enough to start to threaten anyone stalking her boyfriend until they had finally gotten the message and let him be.

Of course she had gotten a lot of help from Ron, Hermione, Neville and a few other Gryffs, along with Draco. But in the end, she knew it had been professor Snape who had stopped the fan club from following her boyfriend everywhere (including the loo).

She had been there to witness Professor Snape's wrath first hand. She had been walking with Harry into the Great Hall, with his huge, unwanted fan club in tow, when Harry had a sudden sharp headache, which had occurred occasionally due to the curse that had been cast against him during his final battle with Voldemort. Luckily the headaches had not occurred often but when they did strike, they would sometimes bring Harry to his knees.

This happened to be one of those times. Ginny was holding his hand, trying to get his mind away from all the adoring stares and whispers that she knew he hated, when he suddenly let go of her hand and grabbed his head with both hands. She could see that he was in intense pain and she frantically searched the Great Hall for Professor Snape. She had just caught sight of him looking back at them, and saw that he had a look of alarm on his face and had stood up so fast that his chair fell backwards to the ground, when suddenly the group of admirers that had been following them began to swarm Harry, asking him all sorts of questions about what was wrong. Several hands had reached out to touch him as he fell to his knees, and then people had leaned in to ask if they could help.

Ginny had tried to push everyone back, and was yelling for everyone to back off and give him room. A few girls had pushed her back and things were just starting to get dangerous when someone was pushed into Harry and had knocked him fully to the ground. She could hear a sharp crack and she flew into a panic.

It was pandemonium as some people were trying to move back while others were pushing to get closer and see what all the commotion was about. She heard Harry cry out, an occurrence that rarely happened, sending her into further panic for what must have made him yell.

She scrambled to get closer when she spotted blood on the ground surrounding her boyfriend. She began to scream out to Professor Snape, yelling for help when a loud voice, amplified 10 times over, came crashing through the noise, effectively silencing them all.

"Move the hell back, NOW!" Professor Snape had roared out, pushing anyone standing in his way. A few students were flung to the side but most had scrambled away in a panic as the menacing figure approached.

Ginny remained on her knees as the crowd cleared, finally giving her sight of Harry. Her heart raced with fear as she saw that he had blood streaming from a cut above his eye.

Professor Snape was on his knees with no thought of the blood soaking through the knees of his pants and had gathered up Harry in a flash. The austere man had Harry's head in his hands and was gently pushing the hair back to see what damage had been caused.

"I'm okay, dad," Harry kept repeating, at the look of fear on his dad's face. "I'm alright," he insisted, "It's just a bump."

Once the professor had determined that his son was not in dire circumstance he had pulled Harry up on his feet and then addressed the gawking crowd.

The students practically trembled in fear at the look the professor gave them.

"Henceforth," the professor had spat out in the sharpest tone Ginny had ever heard him use, "you will refrain from pursuing my son whilst he attends this institution. If you so much as look in his direction, you will be spending the entirety of this school year in detention with ME!"

The group as a whole moved back further, some of them whispering out, "Yes, sir." .

Ginny slowly made her way closer to Harry, grabbing at his hand so that she could see the damage done. She was angered to see just how deeply the cut ran above his eye.

"And another thing," Ginny yelled out, as she turned to look at the crowd, "I don't want to see anyone "accidentally" bumping into my boyfriend or even so much as touching him or you'll have ME to contend with!" She moved menacingly closer to one of the girls who had pushed her and was satisfied to see the girl inch backwards with a scared look on her face.

The giant room remained silent as the three of them exited. Harry held onto Ginny's hand as professor Snape put an arm over his shoulder to steady him.

They walked down the hall towards the dungeons as Ginny turned to see Harry with a smirk on his bloodied face.

"What?" she inquired, confused that he was smiling.

Harry shook his head, "Nothing," he had said, still smirking as he turned to look up at his dad.

Ginny followed his line of sight and looked up at Professor Snape. The man looked back at her with an eyebrow raised.

"What, sir?" Ginny pointedly asked.

She saw Harry shake his head and heard him chuckle. Her eyes turned sharply towards her boyfriend and she tugged on his hand, "What are you laughing at?!"

"It's just, … it's nothing, Gin," he shook his head and looked downward.

She looked back up at the professor and caught him looking back at her amusedly.

The professor rolled his eyes and then begrudgingly said, "I believe what my son is too fearful to say is that we are amused at how much you sound like your mother."

WHAT?! Ginny couldn't believe he had just said that!

She heard Harry whisper out, "Your in trouble," to his dad.

Then she heard Professor Snape whisper back, "You've no Gryffindor bravery."

"No," Harry had answered back, "I'm just not stupid."

At which point she heard Professor Snape huff out, "It is what you were thinking, was it not?"

And then, of all things, Harry had said, "Yes, but I wasn't about to tell her."

Ginny could take no more! How dare they accuse her of sounding like her mum!

"That may be so, but I can do something my mum cannot,…" she waited until both men were looking at her, "My boogeybat hex is as wicked as anyone's, including yours professor, and furthermore, I can hex someone wandlessly now, without them even realizing it is coming at them."

Harry immediately said, "I didn't say it, Gin, he did," and pointed at his dad.

At which point Professor Snape looked at Harry and said, "chicken," and then looked at her and said, "I think your mother has a lovely voice."

Harry had whispered back, "Now who's the chicken?"

Ginny smiled to herself as they all continued down to the dungeon.

She was suddenly pulled from her memories when Harry said, "You're even prettier when you smile." She turned to look at him as he lay facing her on the cool grass. His emerald green eyes were beyond amazing in the bright outdoors.

"What were you thinking about," he asked as he curled a piece of her hair on his finger.

"How happy I am that you're back," she answered as she turned to look at him.

"Yeah, it's good to be home," Harry said. He pulled her until she was on top of him. "Kiss me," he demanded, pulling her head down to his lips.

Ginny loved the feel of his lips on hers. She sucked in his bottom lip, nipping it lightly until he growled. She hummed back pushing her tongue into his mouth. She could feel the reaction this was causing him and straddled him as she moved up on him. She grabbed each of his hands into hers and held them on either side of his head as she kissed him deeply.

After a few minutes, Harry pulled his hands free and held onto Ginny's arms as he looked into her eyes. "Do you want to come home with me next weekend?"

"You mean to Snape Manor?" Ginny asked.

Harry smirked before saying, "No, to the Dursleys. Of course I mean to my dad's house." That earned him a swat on the side of the head.

Ginny leaned down and kissed him where she had just hit him. "I guess I could go. What do you have planned?"

"Nothing," Harry said as he dragged a finger down her arm, "I just feel a bit confined here and wouldn't mind getting away."

"Are you still being followed around? Because if you are I swear I'll …,"

Harry cut her off before she could finish her threat, "Calm down, no one's dense enough to bother me after the speech you and my dad threatened them with."

"Well, it worked didn't it?"

Harry rolled over with Ginny still straddling him. He gathered her up as rolled on top of her. "I don't even notice any other girls but you, Ginny." He kissed her starting at her neck and worked his way over to her mouth.

They were in the throes of this deep kiss when a little gold ball came fluttering about. Harry grabbed at the snitch and read the message on its side.

"I need to speak with you … NOW."

He showed it to Ginny. "Is your dad mad at you?" she asked.

"Probably," Harry said a he stood up, then offered a hand to help Ginny up. "He's just been a little upset with my 'lack of concentration when it comes to my studies,'" he said the last part in a very Snape like way, causing Ginny to laugh.

"Your getting pretty good at imitating Professor Snape, Harry. You better watch out or you'll start sounding like him all the time."

Harry stepped away as he said, "Well, I guess you would know about sounding like your parent."

Ginny took a swing at him, but he was faster and started to run towards the castle. Ginny raced after him, finally catching him as they neared the castle. She jumped on his back and made him give her ride the rest of the way to the front doors.

Ok, this was fun to revisit! I really enjoyed writing and wouldn't mind writing more but I have to hear from you and know that someone is reading this. Sooo, review right now before you start reading something else :+0
