Chapter 11: Chopper's Question
Everyone looked at Chopper. They knew it was time for his question.
"What if your question going to be?" asked Nami.
"What if I was born human instead of a reindeer?" asked Chopper.
"Saw that coming " thought most of the crew.
"I really hope that it's not like the last one…" sighed Ko.
(Story)
In the men's room on the Going Merry, the ship's doctor got up.
He was small boy despite his age hadn't gone through puberty yet.
("Again!" yelled Ko, "What is it with this thing and teenaged boys who hadn't gone through puberty yet?"
"I don't mind." Said Chopper)
He got up, he had short brown achier and blue eyes, then put on a pink fluffy top hat on.
("Ah… Human chopper is cute!" said Nami.
"I know right!" said Usa.
"You jerks! I don't care about that!" said Chopper blushing.)
He saw most of the other men were sleeping so he went on deck. When he did he noticed how cold it was.
"What's going on?" asked Chopper seeing Nami wearing a large coat.
"We're nearing an island." Said Nami.
"It's a winter island right?" asked Chopper.
"Yeah." Said Nami.
Chopper looked really happy, he was from a winter island.
Nami noticed that Chopper was dressed in just a t-shirt and shorts.
"You okay dressed like that?" she asked.
"It's okay." Said Chopper," The cold never bothered me anyway…"
("Hey isn't that from a song?" asked Luffy.
I don't think so…" said Nami.)
Soon enough everyone was up and it started snowing.
"All right! Snow!" cheered Luffy.
"It's so rare to see it!" cheered Usa.
"So who's going on the island?" asked Nami.
Usa, Chopper and Luffy all raised their hands.
"Maybe we should also have a different group who have no intention to play in the snow?" asked Nami.
"Good idea…" sighed Ko.
Nami, Ko and Sanji decided to scour the island for supplies.
While Luffy, Chopper and Usa headed to the island to have fun in they snow.
The three of them were having fun.
"Are you sure you guys are fine?" asked Usa, who for once wasn't wearing a sundress but rather a puffy pink jacket and pink pants with white snow boots.
"We're fine." Said Chopper and Luffy.
Then Luffy suddenly shivered.
"Man it's so cold!" yelled Luffy.
"You just noticed!" both of them yelled.
Luffy went back to the ship and got a coat while Usa and Chopper began to make snow angels.
"No fair I want in!" yelled Luffy jumping into the snow.
("Is this story all about them playing in the snow?" asked Usopp.
"Do you want to watch the last story again?" asked Ko.
"No… I don't…" said Usopp.
"Then enjoy these cute little scenes." Said Ko.)
Chopper laid in the snow and laughed.
"You lived on a winter island didn't you?" asked Usa.
"I did!" said Chopper, "I always played in the snow…"
"I remember he used to live in a big castle with his grandmother." Said Luffy.
"She wasn't my grandma." Sighed Chopper with a sweat drop.
"Then who she was she?" asked Luffy confused.
"It's a long story." Said Chopper.
"It's okay." Said Usa.
That was when they heard growling.
They turned to see a pack of wolves.
"Wolves!" yelled Chopper.
"All right! Let's handle this!" cheered Luffy.
"All right!" cheered Usa.
"Okay…" sighed Chopper.
Usa began to shoot Ki beams at the wolves.
Luffy punched several.
However what really got the wolves to flee was the fact that Chopper deciding to use his Devil Fruit Powers.
He had the powers of the Yeti Yeti Fruit.
The wolves suddenly ran away with their tails in-between their legs.
("That was anti-Climatic!" yelled Luffy.
"So it looks like you would have eaten a Devil Fruit that made you seem like the amenable snowman either way." Said Robin.
"Yeah…" said Chopper.)
Once the wolves ran off Usa to the ground.
"Usa!" yelled Chopper, "Are you okay?"
"So hungry!" moaned Usa.
"She must have used up a lot of Ki in the light." Said Luffy.
"Yeah…" laughed Chopper.
They got back to the ship so Usa could eat.
"So how was everything…" said Usopp was still too afraid to go.
"Fine, except for wolves…" said Chopper.
"Wolves!" yelled Usopp.
"Yeah but they all ran away when they Chopper's yeti form." Pouted Luffy.
That was when the group looking for a town arrived, Ko and Sanji were soaked to the been.
"What happened?" asked Usa.
"Ko fell into a lake and I managed to rescue the fair lady." Said Sanji.
"I would hit you, but I'm too cold." Said Ko.
All of them got warmed up after Nami told them there wasn't a town so they would have to go easy on the supplies.
The next day however Ko had a cold.
"Well it happens when you fall in." said Chopper.
"I know…" sighed Ko who coughed.
That was when Sanji came in.
"Here's some fish and chicken noodle soup for the lovely lady." Said Sanji.
"YOU'RE NOT SICK!" yelled Ko.
Then she had a coughing fit.
"What can I say… I've never been sick." Said Sanji.
"That's not normal…" muttered Ko.
"I know…" agreed Chopper.
Chopper began to leave the room.
"I'll on you later." Said Chopper.
"Yes leave… I think I have the straight to kick him out…" muttered Ko.
Sanji sweat dropped.
"I'll think I'll myself out." said Sanji.
Up stairs Chopper decided to make Ko some mortem cold medicine.
(Flashback)
A young Chopper was crying at a grave.
"Mom… dad…" cried Chopper.
That when an older man approached them form behind.
"I'm sorry I could save them." Said a man.
"It's okay…" cried Chopper, "I just don't get why all the doctors had to go away!"
"How about I teach you how to be a doctor." Said the older man.
"Okay…" said Chopper.
(End of Flashback)
(Wait Chopper gets a flashback and I don't?" asked Ko.
"Hey… it makes sense he was born different this version." Said Luffy.
"So was I…" pointed out Ko.
Luffy began to think.
"Wait I think there was a flashback wasn't there." Said Luffy.
"Doesn't matter either way." Said Hikaru.)
Chopper smiled thinking back at the memory of how he met Doctor Hiluluk.
That was when he heard yelling.
"Luffy! I through I told you! We have to save the meat!" yelled Sanji.
"But I'm hungry!" yelled Luffy.
Chopper laughed, it had been many years since his parents died from that illness while he did miss them he still loved his crew and that's all that mattered.
(End of Story)
"Well that seems to be it." Said Hikaru.
"That was fun." Said Usa.
"Not for everyone." Muttered Ko.
"Well I think I made a good choice in showing everyone." Said Hikaru.
Everyone nodded their heads.
"Now I'm board again!" yelled Luffy, "And hungry!"
"Seriously!" yelled the rest of the crew.
"Hey! It actually appears to be lunchtime. So Luffy really is hungry and not just bored." Said Usa she turned to Hikaru, "Do you think you can stay?"
"Of course!" said Hikaru.
"I'll make your lunch especially for you." Said Usa.
"Thanks!" said Hikaru, "And I'm glad you guys had fun!"
"Thanks for showing that!" said Luffy.
"You're quite welcome Louie!" said Hikaru.
Everyone but Usa and Luffy palmed.
