PUBLIC DISPLAY (Scryed - Ryuhou/Mimori, G)
"I bet if I never ignored you, you would have never got so upset, and we wouldn't have had that hot, searing kiss."
The complete arrogance of his voice ticked Mimori off even more. She loved the man standing before her, but sometimes she just wanted to strike that pretty little mouth of his with her fist. Knock the damn arrogance right out of his mouth and watch him stutter his shock while holding his bloody (hopefully) jaw.
"Excuse me, but I believe you were the one who came to my room, asking for my company, which, yes, lead to a h-hot, searing kiss." Mimori retorts back, head held high, if not red in color. There was no way she was being blamed for the kiss.
Ryuhou stumbles back, flaring with anger for being blamed. "W-What?"
They go on for the next five minutes, Cougar and anyone else who happens to find them interesting, watching back and forth as the words between the two get more hostile and at one point vulgar. Cougar, the seeker of peace, thinks about interrupting the two, but he can't help but smile when Mimori stands flushed with anger and embarrassment.
Suffice to say, a total stranger was the one who stopped them - or stopped Mimori before she pounced on Ryuhou, and the two sat silently beside one another at the lunch table. By this time the spectators, including Cougar (who hadn't been happy about having to leave), all had finished their meals and the cafeteria was almost empty.
That was when Mimori noticed Ryuhou was playing with her hair, twisting the ends between his fingers. Most of all - he was completely calm, like nothing had happened at all. She was about to angrily call him out on his unbelievable behavior when he turned his eyes her way and smiled, mouthing without sound, sorry.
She was moved beyond words and ended up weeping uncontrollably against Ryuhou's shoulder, repeating she was sorry. He really was one arrogant jerk.
