"A Collection of Drabbles" - By SGAngeL

A/N: Here's some drabbles that I've written. I figured it would be easier to post them all together, rather than as separate stories. As I write more I'll post them as new chapters. A few are Sparky drabbles, and I'll warn you now that there's a not so happy one or two in there. ;-)

"Siege 3"

Endless Static. Time seemed to stop. A second felt like eternity. He didn't know if he could survive another. Holding his breath, he prayed for a sound.

Anything but static.

"Elizabeth!" He pleaded, wishing to hear her voice.

More static.

With every agonizing second, John felt his hear sink lower.

"I repeat, this is Sheppard, what's your status?"

Suddenly, there was a break in the static. Elizabeth's voice filled the Control-Room of the Daedalus. "We're still here, that's our status."

Relief flooded through him, like he'd never felt before, "Don't scare me like that."

A smile spread across his face.

A/N: This is is a drabble that I wrote while I was working on my story "Running"

"Running"

The growls that broke the night air only urged her to run faster through the trees. She could only hear the rhythmic pounding of her feet against the ground, and the blood pounding in her ears. There was a moment of fear where she believed that Sheppard was no longer behind her, and she slowed to turn around, but John was instantly by her side, grasping her forearm, and urging her on.

They ran through some bushes, unaware of them ripping at their skin "They're getting closer!" Yet John needn't have even spoken, as the growls behind them grew closer.

"What Made Him Do It"

Maybe he'd lost his mind. It was definitely a possibility. Stupidity was undoubtedly a factor too. What could he say, he was human after all.

It's not like he'd planned it. He'd just been standing there. What was the danger in that? But she was just so damn sexy. Well, when wasn't she? He had delivered one of his jokes. Which weren't really all that funny, but still it made her smile. He'd just reacted.

Simply put, he kissed her.

Insanity was definitely the reason.

Then she kissed him back.

What made him do it? Honestly, he didn't really care.

"Enemy"

John's hazel eyes were glued on the weapon pointed directly at his chest. He drew in a slow, shaky breath as his stomach began performing ridiculous somersaults. His mind in turmoil, trying to understand what was happening.

"I said, 'drop the gun'!" The gun wielder repeated, his voice urging on the edge of hysterics.

John looked at the man's face. "You don't want to do this."

"But I have to." Rodney's voice was barely a whisper as he held John's steadfast gaze. "I'm sorry John."

"Rodney," His voice pleaded- begged his friend.

Rodney closed his eyes and pulled the trigger.

"Aware" – Double Drabble

He wasn't aware of the people that had crowded around them, or Rodney's hysteric cries. He wasn't aware of Ronon, only metres away, beating the crap out of a man; a man who had betrayed them.

He was only aware of Elizabeth cradled in his lap as he sat in the middle of the 'gate room floor.

She looked up at him with a small smile on her pale lips, "It'll be ok," her voice was barely a whisper.

"Shh… don't talk." John fought to keep back tears as he pulled her head to his chest with one hand, while the other pressed tightly against her stomach, trying to stop the flow of blood that was slowly seeping past his fingers.

She weakly pulled her head back and looked up at him. "John…"

John nodded. "I know." He leaned down and placed a feather light kiss on her curly, brown head. "I know…"

Elizabeth rested her hand on top of his. John looked down to where their hands were joined. The blood spread across her shirt, a dark patch in the red of the material.

He was only aware at that moment, of Elizabeth's body falling limp in his arms.
