hello everyone. you dont have to read this if you dont want to, i know alot of people are not fans of poetry. but well, even though i love writing full stories, i am first and formost a poet. so i figured, hey, i'd give it a try in the supernatural world. :)

PS. this can go for dean or sam, (or both). it is my feeling about what would come at the end of their life long battle against the supernatural.

D: just for fun.

MY LAST REQUEST

In the deep twilight of golden hours

I call to thee across the skies,

To lift be up above the darkness,

To save me from the reasons why.

I call to thee to give me strength,

Hold me close in my crumbling grace.

And all the world around me fall

Into the deep emptiness of all.

Give to me the air to breath,

Lift me up from fallen knees.

To reach once more into the clouds

And hold on longer to what I've found.

Give to me the strength to speak,

The words my heartbeat, my solace reached.

With the dawn approaching fast,

Give to me the knowledge to love at last.

Give to me the world you hold,

The life I need before I fold.

Give to me the power to be,

My life, my air, my only dream.

Give to me the weapons of war,

The tools I need to fight the storm.

And before I take my dying breath,

Give to me my last request.

Give to me this one last thing,

And I will leave you to your dreams.

Give to me the love I seek,

The world around me dark and bleak.

The sky above falling in so fast,

All hearts around me turned to glass.

Give to me all I need,

In one last word, one failing breath.

Give to me my last request.

The world around me in darkness fallen,

Give to me a reason to believe.

And, once more in deep twilight,

Give to me in the empty night.

That which I need, that which I crave,

A world lost, fallen and grave.

Give to me my last request,

A fallen soldier, a finished quest.

Give to me all I need,

All I want, all I've seen.

Give to me my final plea,

My last request on bended knee.

All that I want, all that I need,

My lost and shattered family.
