Vegeta gazed lovingly at his daughter, his Little Princess. Bulma often accused him of spoiling the child, and maybe he did. She was his daughter, his treasure, after all. And he would shatter the bones of any boy foolish enough to break her heart. True, he also had a son, Trunks, and he was proud of the boy, but he had always expected to have a son, an heir to his throne. He never expected to have a daughter. But now that he did, he loved her and would not trade her for anything. Not even for a final victory over Kakarote.

Vegeta chuckled as he remembered how he and his mate, Bulma, had argued for weeks over what to name their girl. She wanted to name the child Bra for reasons he could not recall offhand and would probably never understand anyway. He wanted to name her Kuarie after a certain poison that he thought sounded pretty. Finally Trunks suggested they settle it by a game of chess. After the game had been explained to him they had both agreed, and Vegeta would have won if he had only remembered how the horse-shaped piece moved. The unfortunate chess set was sent flying out the window soon after her victory, but Vegeta had made a deal and had to stick with it. Needless to say, he had practiced the game since then, pitting himself against the computer between physical workouts, so he was ready whenever he and Bulma had a third child, but for now, he was content to watch his princess play with her toys.
