THE HOST OF YOUR DARKNESS

You've seen me a lot of times, haven't you? Are you afraid? Do you even know what's going on...? Probably.

Your silvery hair falls oh so beautifully and carelessly over your eyes and face as you look around pretending everything is alright.

Here I wonder if you won't ever age. But I wouldn't be surprised if you were something like me... and yet I know that you are not. In the very end, you're just going to vanish like a humble mortal.

You pretend you hadn't seen me. Maybe you were expecting Tsuzuki to come for you. But no... This task is mine alone. No one will do it if it's not me. No one has the right. It's fate.

You and I were meant to be. In light and in darkness. Life and death. Now Iit's my turn to be the host.

You finally sit on a bench in the park. Like a bright white feather softly sitting on the ground. A piece of light. But this light is fading and I am the one to shut it off completely and welcome you into the darkness.

I know that you can see my image sharpening from where you are. But all you do is crack a smile. I know it's from uneasiness. I can feel every single emotion in your heart. You just don't want to lose your cool untill your last breath.

But you can't fool an empath.

We stare at each other.

"Boya,"

"Who else?" I ask defiantly.

"...No one else." You finally answer. I can't hear you voice cracking, but I feel how your heart is stuck in your throat.

But it seems that you have resigned to your fate. You close your eyes now, slowly, waiting for me to close the distance. And I place my hands on your neck... then chest. Your pale hands are on mine. Cold. Sweaty. Soft. Such hands have always played with death. Now Death wants to kiss your lips.

And I take in with my own breath your last one.

After a looong while I have decided to rewrite it, since I wrote it long ago when my grammar was beyond poor xD And it needed a lot of changes so it could show what I had in my mind and my heart. I hope everyone likes the new version :)
