Lightning McQueen groaned as he slowly woke up, blinking his eyes as he noticed that he was racing on a giant oil tanker in the middle of the ocean. He was racing against several generic cars, bumping into them as he tried to stay on the road as several crates came crashing down on the racecourse, followed by oil spilling, causing all of the cars to spin around, off into the ocean. Luckily, Lightning managed to get a grip and cruise back onto the race course, laughing as he glanced behind.

"Yeah! Eat my dust!" McQueen exclaimed as he was approaching the finish line, when it exploded right in his face, causing him to tumble back as he screamed. "Agh!"

"Old chap, are you all right?" Finn McMissile asked as he zoomed up to the injured Lightning McQueen.

Lightning groaned as he coughed, shaking his head. "Do I look... okay?" He then exploded in a fiery fashion, causing the entire oil tanker to sink into the water.

Lightning gasped as he woke up, panting as he was sweating nervously, glancing left and right to see where he was.

"Man... that was... interesting." Lightning admitted as he shook his head, exiting the motel cone as he took a glance around Radiator Springs, to see how bigger and more active it was. He then paused, to see Mater driving by him. "Mater! Hey!"

Mater paused, turning around and laughing as he waved at Lightning. "Hey, Lightning! What were you doing all morning?"

"...Sleeping. And dreaming." Lightning remarked as he yawned, squinting his eyes. "Anything interesting happened while I was sleeping?"

Mater turned around to see Ramone driving away from Flo, turning back to Lightning as he smiled. 'Well, that happened. And the King, who was mayor, finally turned down his offer. And I got my own casino!"

Lightning smiled as he nodded his head. "Well, that's all good to know, I mean, it's great that you..." His eyes then widened with shock as he realized the last thing Mater said, exclaiming in disbelief, "Wait, you have a casino!?"

"Yep!" Mater laughed as he nodded his head, approaching Lightning. "Wanna go see it?"

"Do I!?" Lightning exclaimed as he followed Mater towards the western direction, not believing that the tow truck had an entire casino running.
