It was February 14th, a day which could've gone utterly unnoticed if it weren't for certain shinobi of Konoha. The first of these, naturally, being Kakashi.

"So," he said, appearing by his team, early for once, armed with a handful of sweet packets. "Happy Valentine's Day!"

Team 7 eyed the sweets carefully.

"What are they?"

"Love Hearts," Kakashi replied. "Each packed with a message of affection and devotion."

Sakura and Naruto earnestly took their packets, ripping off the tops, whilst Sasuke carefully pried his open.

Giggling, Sakura looked at the first sweet of the packet. "Ne, Sasuke-kun, this one's for you."

She slipped the first sweet - inscribed with the message 'you're cute' - onto Sasuke's lap.

"Hn," was all Sasuke said, ignoring the sweet completely.

"Sakura-chaaaaaan," Naruto drawled. "Here." He passed Sakura a sweet with the message 'Sugar Honey'.

"Um…sure, thanks, Naruto."

There followed a few minutes of silence as they filed through their sweets, before Sasuke found the perfect one and smirked.

"Hey, dobe, here."

Naruto glanced at the sweet Sasuke gave him. "What are you - oh, 'foxy'. Very funny."

He popped the sweet in his mouth, before finding it quickly replaced by another one. Naruto eyed it suspiciously. "'Lick me'?"

"Yeah."

"Whatever."

"I meant literally."

"…WHAT?!"

But Naruto was interrupted by a whine from Sakura. "Ne, Sasuke-kun, d'you have one for me?"

"Sorry, I'm all out of 'fuck the hell off's. Maybe next time."

Sakura's eyes filled with tears. "B-but…Sasuke…"

She ran off crying.

"TEME! What'd you do that for?"

"She was ruining my mood."

"But you really upset her!"

"If she loves me she'll get over it. Here."

He handed Naruto a new sweet. 'I love you'.

"That's fucked up, Sasuke."

"Oh, you like it." He passed Naruto a sweet reading 'Baby, you're hot'.

Naruto's eyed grew wide.

"Well, it's true, you are."

They widened slightly more.

Growling, Naruto gave Sasuke his next sweet. "There!"

It read 'bite me'.

"That an invitation?"

"WHAT?! NO!!"

"It should be."

"…WHAT?! Wait… WHAT?!"

Sasuke didn't reply, but handed Naruto a new sweet. 'Kiss me'.

"Well?" Sasuke said with a smirk.

"Are you kidding? NO!"

"Fine. I guess I'll have to then."

He promptly learnt forward, and pressed his lips against Naruto's.

The blonde's first reaction was to fight it. He really, really, really wanted to fight it. But, for some reason, he didn't fight, instead choosing to kiss Sasuke back.

"See, I told you Love Hearts would bring you together."

"KAKASHI-SENSEI! YOU PLANNED THIS!"

Kakashi laughed. "Yes. Yes I did." He laughed again at Naruto's expression. "Well, it's a fool proof plan. People do whatever the Love Hearts tell them to."

"NO! THEY DON'T!"

"Clearly they do, dobe."

"But… but… gah! I didn't kiss you! You kissed me!"

"You asked me to bite you. I was only complying."

"But you didn't bite me!"

"Yet."

"ARGH!" Naruto growled irritably.

"Oh, come on Naruto, you wanted it."

"Kakashi-sensei! I did not!"

"And eventually you'll do what I tell you."

"I will not, TEME!"

"He will."

"Oh, I know."

"It's inevitable."

"Definitely."

"It's a shame there isn't a 'fuck me' sweet."

"Let's not get carried away now."

"Well, I think he'd do it."

"Oh, he would."

"ARGH!" Naruto yelled, storming off.

"Want to go after him?"

"No. He'll come back."

"Of course. He still needs to lick you. And be bitten. And kiss you."

"Exactly," Sasuke smiled. He was going to have a fun Valentine's.
