Woo! Another one shot! Except this time it's Death Note! This is my first Death Note story, so it'll probably be crappy…
But yeah, I thought of this one after my cousin Nicole showed me this fan art she drew. I loved it so much, and then decided to make a one shot about it; so this one is for Nicole. XD Man, it was SO cute… Chibi L and Light, with Light making the loser sign at L while yelling 'L is for Loser!' … I wish I could've drawn it, but I can't draw worth shit. XD
Warning: Major OOC-ness from Light, and very short and pointless one shot. XD
I do not own Death Note or any of the characters… or that Death Note fan art… or this idea, well, I kind of do, but not really … damn, I'm depressed now. T.T
"Hey, Ryuuzaki… why is your nickname 'L'?" Light asked as he and L sat down in the hotel where they were currently investigating the Kira case. "I mean, you could've picked something cooler like Shadow or something, but you picked L?"
L dropped five sugar cubes into his tea, then shrugged, placing his hands on his knees as he sat oddly in his chair. "I didn't really think when I picked L. I just wanted something simple." He replied. Light raised an eyebrow.
"Riight." He said disbelievingly. "C'mon, Ryuuzaki. There has to be a reason… or do you not want to tell me?"
"No, Light-kun. There really is no reason." L shoved a cupcake into his mouth. Light sighed, then jumped up. L looked at him curiously as he grinned.
"I know the reason!" Light yelled, laughing.
"You do?" L asked, standing up and looking at Light curiously.
"Your nickname L stands for Loser!" Light snickered, pointing a finger at L, who was taken aback.
"Eh?! Loser?" he repeated, shocked. Light nodded.
"L is for loser!" he sang, skipping around L as he stared at Light oddly.
"Light-kun… are you oka-"
"Loser! Loser! Looooooooooooooooooooser!" Light yelled. He lifted his right hand and made an L shape on his forhead with his fingers at L, snickering. "L is for loser!"
"Light-kun, that's not very nice…"
Meanwhile, during the time Light was making fun of L, the rest of the police force were watching what was going on from surveillance cameras.
"… Yagami-san, is your son alright?" Mogi asked, blinking.
"He looks… a bit too happy…" Matsuda said quietly.
"L is a loser!!! Hahahaha!!" Light's maniacal laughs were heard through the speakers as Soichiro slapped a palm to his forhead, shaking his head in embarassment.
…Lame, I know.
