A/N: Sorry it took me so long to get back to this story for anyone who may have been reading it when I was regularly updating it. Long story short, it kind of went off the rails a few chapters back since I knew what the ending was but getting there was a long winding path that I hadn't fully worked out at the time hence why some chapters seem kind of random with the events in them.

Tatooine: Ships began evacuating the planet as the planet began shaking heavily from the result of the detonation of the two bombs. Across the planet, fissures opened and bubbling lava began making its way to the surface and spreading across the sand. Thankfully Tatooine was still sparsely populated and so the major population centers were still unharmed, but some of the smaller farms were beginning to become threatened by the magma. If something wasn't done soon, Tatooine was going to burn to a cinder.

Space: Keira's ship came rocketing out of hyperspace into the midst of the mass exodus from the planet. Ships swerved all around her to avoid her intrusion as more and vanished into the blue swirls of hyperspace and those that couldn't make the journey simply headed for deep space with no turning back. Despite being on the far edge of nowhere, Tatooine's situation had not gone unnoticed by the Galactic Republic and a pair of Rendili Dreadnaughts sat above the planet trying their best to direct the evacuation despite the madness.

"Oh, what happened now…," Keira groaned softly and also saddened at the destruction being wrought on the planet as it shook in agony.

"Attention unidentified vessel, by order of the Galactic Republic Tatooine is officially off limits to all outsiders," a voice barked over her comm. system.

"I have urgent business on the planet," she responded. "I also need to rescue some of my friends down there who have no ship of their own to escape with."

"We acknowledge that, however unlikely, there may be loved ones trapped on this planet of scum and villainy, but rest assured that the Republic will do everything it can to evacuate as many civilians as it can," responded the voice. "But we cannot allow anyone to contribute further to this crazed situation and that is why all ships must stay away until things resolve themselves."

Keira sat there drumming her fingers on her console before taking the microphone again.

"No chance for appeal?" she asked curious.

"You're free to contact the Supreme Chancellor," came the uncaring response. Keira nodded her head lightly and then slammed on the accelerator as the craft leapt towards Tatooine while moments later the batteries on the Dreadnaughts opened fire on her in response.

Below the planet: The Legend, a sandworm of enormous girth raced through the ground as it searched for tunnels it had dug that were free of lava. But to its surprise, another foreign object appeared in one of its caves coming straight at it. It was a metal object of some kind that was racing along with its headlights blazing in the darkness. The worm opened its mouth wide and swallowed the oncoming vehicle and continued on its way as the vehicle subsequently emerged unharmed from the back of the worm, with The Legend completely unaware of what had happened. And if anyone had been watching, they would have been astounded to see the vehicle make a sharp left turn…and vanish into solid rock.

"You lied to me!" complained Kirby as he crossed his arms and had a cross look on his face. He was strapped in the back along with Zobba and Treadwell while Neva Kee and Zoda sat up front, also strapped in.

"Technically, I didn't lie," came Neva Kee's response as he glanced briefly at the Oscillation Overthruster that was glowing. "I just wasn't entirely sure the Overthruster would actually take us through solid rock. So what I told you was true…from a certain point of view."

"Guh," said Kirby disgusted by that comment. Zoda just rolled his eyes and Zobba began thinking up songs they could sing on their journey but none came to him.

"Besides, if you take off that belt and loose contact with the LAV, nothing will stop you from materializing in solid rock right now," the diplomat continued. "I wouldn't wish that on anybody."

"So what's the plan?" asked Kirby for the millionth time. The diplomat looked back at the Hutt.

"Zobba, if you could hit the holoprojector," he prompted. The Hutt flicked his tail against a panel nearby and a holo-image popped up.

"Umm, what's that?" asked Kirby bewildered. The diplomat looked back briefly and his eyes bugged out at seeing a schematic of a moon-sized battlestation with a dish of some kind embedded at the top.

"Whoops," said Neva. "Hit it again Zobba."

The image now was of a half-completed battlestation again with a dish in part of its upper half. Kirby and Zobba looked at each other dubiously as Neva Kee was still looking forward and piloting the craft. The Hutt switched the display again without a word and now a skeletal version of a similar shaped object appeared. Kirby sighed as Zobba hit the switch one last time and finally Tatooine appeared.

"I think we're in business," commented the Hutt shrugging his shoulders bewildered about what happened with the projector.

"Okay," said Neva not turning back around. "As we know, there were two powerful explosives placed at the poles by Kandor. One we disabled, the other detonated. Admittedly, the one explosion was bad, but not life threatening to the planet to the point that it would shake it apart. Unfortunately, Kandor reactivated the one bomb and had a third placed elsewhere and both going off together is now going to tear Tatooine off its orbital path and that is bad."

The image zoomed back to show Tatooine's axis now headed directly around Tatoo II and straight into Tatoo I.

"So the heat is on," Kirby drawled in his faux-southern accent.

"Course, everyone will either be evacuated or dead by the time that happens in a few months. Beating the lava and righting this planet's axis is our main concern now," the diplomat continued as he made a sharp turn and the vehicle headed down another tubule the Legend had made.

"And how will we do that?" asked Zobba curious. The diplomat shook his head indicating he had no idea.

"Right now I'm just trying to get to the nearest water source to see if we can't harness it somehow to at least stop the lava for now," the blue alien answered as he looked at the rod that was glowing and not glowing based on various turns that the vehicle made. "Until we get there, I'd suggest we all try and come with ideas as to how to solve this problem."

Silence descended on the cockpit at that.

GUURRRGGGGLLLEEEEEE

"Kirby demands food!"

"Zoda demands you shut up!"

Above: Turbolaser blasts peppered the landscape as Keira's ship raced across the Dune Sea.

"Don't these idiots have more important things to do than chase after me?" she wondered aloud. "I wonder what it'll take to get them to stop…"

Dreadnaught: The gunners were continuing to track and fire on the craft when suddenly the guns stopped firing.

"What the-?" inquired the gunner. He continued trying to fire on the ship as it rapidly approached a nearby moisture farm. The gunner moved the gun back to where he had shot earlier and the turbolaser fired without any problem. The gunner then moved the weapon to point at the ship that was now circling the moisture farm and…nothing. The gunner began spraying fire wildly and slowly but certainly came to the astounding conclusion that inside a set circumference around the moisture farm, no weapons would penetrate. After several moments of fruitlessly clicking a dead trigger, the entire weapon ended up mysteriously shutting down and could not be reactivated.

"This isn't over," the gunnery officer declared internally as he left to find a technician to explain what was going on with his weapons.

Trial: "So why did the cruiser stop firing?" asked the Judge mildly curious.

"Oh, safeguards," said the blue alien with a subdued evil laugh.

Moisture Farm: Keira's ship roared to a halt kicking up sand and dust and anything else that wasn't nailed down. She didn't know why the turbolaser blasts had stopped, but she was willing to take any advantage she could get right now with Tatooine falling apart all around her. The Insurance Agent rushed into the homestead and nearly fell down the stairs as the planet shook violently from side to side.

"Neva, Zoda…Kirby?" she asked with trepidation as various objects fell down around her. She had no idea if any of them were alive or not. But to her relief, Zoda appeared, oddly un-phased by the rocking as while the placed moved and Keira stumbled around, the Jedi oddly did not.

"Hello Ms. Kiley," said Zoda in an atypically cordial tone. "What brings you to our humble abode on this of all days?"

Keira looked at him oddly at that statement before shrugging it off as Zoda just acting bizarre like usual.

"The place is falling apart, that's what brings me here!" she declared as the room began shaking. Zoda looked around curious as various items.

"Hmm, so it is," he agreed. "I wonder what's causing it."

"I don't know, but I figured you guys would," Keira admitted. "Where's Neva?"

"Around, I guess," said Zoda as he walked over to Neva's chemistry set. "But I think I'd better figure out what's causing the tremors."

Keira was surprised at Zoda's interest in this particular problem before figured he got hit over the head or something to account for his weirdness. She then turned and stumbled through the inner workings of the homestead as the whole planet almost seem to lurch from side to side as the planet did its hardest to destroy itself. She found the blue diplomat looking at a rocket powered surfboard that was in the process of being constructed.

"Yeah," said the diplomat rubbing his hand along its smoothly polished surface. "That'll do nicely."

"Neva, we need to talk," said Keira cutting into his thoughts. The diplomat looked up at her as if just noticing her.

"Oh, hey ugly, what's up?" he asked, not caring as he went back to observing the board.

"Well…WHAT?!" shouted Keira shocked as her jaw dropped at his statement. The diplomat looked up at her unapologetically.

"Did you bring me any food?" he then asked. That comment caused Keira's eyes to narrow at him as gears started turning in her head.

"Why are you acting like…Zoda…," she said softly as she began to work it out.

"HUG!" shouted Kirby appearing from nowhere with his arms outstretched. Kirby ran in demanding a hug and she deftly sidestepped him as he ran into and crashed into the wall and was immediately knocked out with spirals in his eyes. As she stepped over him with a skeptical look, the image of Kirby blurred and then became crystal clear before fading altogether into nothingness.

"Holograms," she grumbled internally, no doubt with their personality programs mixed up, she reasoned before turning to Neva. "Where is Neva Kee?"

"I am Neva Kee," the hologram insisted and went back to his work. But his work was stopped as Keira grabbed the board from him.

"Will this fly?" she asked. That elicited an evil laugh from the diplomat.

"Find out," he responded before heading off to go look at the still heavily damaged podracer. "Now where did I put my hydrospanner?"

Keira watched him go with a mixture of disgust and dread. She had no idea where Neva Kee and Zoda were and these holograms clearly couldn't tell her. And deep down she felt a little helpless as the planet continued to shake furiously as she swore she heard the sounds of the planet ripping apart at the seams. She knew the planet was going to be destroyed and there was nothing she could think to do to stop it.

"Where are you guys, I need your help!" she shouted at the now empty room but no response came. "How am I supposed to save Tatooine?!"

More silence greeted her and she pressed her back against the wall and slumped down, clutching the board tightly to herself.

"You're a capable individual, I have no doubt you'll figure it out on your own,"

Keira's eyes went wide open at that and she look above her at a screen that had just become active showing an inside view of a Chariot LAV.

"What have you done this time?!" she declared. Neva Kee laughed at that.

"Some welcome!" he huffed. "Maybe I should shut this comm. link off right now."

"I would," Zoda chimed in as a bright flash filled the screen and then resolved itself. The quartet briefly looked at something in front of them with dread before Neva jerked hard on the yoke and made a turn.

"We must be getting close," he remarked. "Though remind never to go back there again."

"Where are you?" asked Keira as he got back up and strained to look at all corners of the screen as if it would give her a better view. Behind her, a metal piece of scaffolding came crashing down behind her as sparks flew and fires raged.

"You'd better go," Neva advised her. "It's dangerous enough as it is where we are, let alone where you are."

"I will see you again, right?" asked Keira hopeful. These were worse times than she'd seen the guys in before and their normally calm facades had a hint of stress on them.

"Ah, we'll be fine," said Zoda dismissively. "You're not going to miss us are you?"

Keira laughed at that. "No," she lied, for strength. "I'll just miss reading insurance reports detailing just what you did to cause so much damage."

"Well, this report should definitely make up for it, then," Neva Kee commented. An uncomfortable silence began at that as the image became more and more fuzzy.

"Will you miss me?" Kirby asked finally. Keira looked at him pointedly.

"Of course I will," she said with as much affection as she could muster. And then she turned deadly. "Because you still have more of my stuff you need to return!"

"Wahahahahaha!" laughed Kirby as the transmission started to really break up.

"Just…please do something, but don't…do…anything," she pleaded. The image was nearly entirely all static, but the gist had gotten through.

"We…our…best…-o promises," said Neva through the static as the image then cut out. But one final burst came through with no visual. "Stop him. You're the only one who can."

And then the transmission blanked out and Keira truly was alone in a world on the verge of destruction. But she had her surfboard and that would have to be enough for now. Keira fought her way out of the homestead and emerged onto the shaky ground as a stampede of Banthas raced by. Looking to the distance, she saw engine trails fleeing the various cities of the planet and she was glad she had the surfboard so she wouldn't risk having her ship stolen if she returned to the city, or worse, fired upon by the Republic cruisers in orbit. The board and she on it would escape their notice during this chaotic time.

But where would she go? That was the question and she had no answer for that one. She didn't know the specifics, but she knew Kandor Ito was behind it, Neva had previously hinted that he suspected he was up to something bad, he just didn't know what. The guys would have an idea, they always did, but they weren't here right now, all she had linking herself to them. So she turned to the board for answers. The top side yielded no clues and so in frustration she flipped the board over and everything became clear.

KK-The Keira Kiley Special: "She's meanness put to music and the board was made to run!'

The following inscription was scrawled on the bottom of the board and it gave the insurance agent a big grin despite all the madness that was going on. So she flipped the board back over and let it hover above the ground.

"Alright, Zee; for you I'll trust the Force on this one," she said aloud to no one in particular. Placing her foot on the back side of the board, she thrust it out and stepped back as the board spun around multiple times before finally coming to a halt and point off into the horizon. When it did, Keira got a sly grin on her face as she hopped onto the board.

"Let's ride," she declared. And she kicked the accelerator and raced off towards the horizon. Behind her, a massive fissure opened next to the farm and lava began spewing out of the ground and advanced on the defenseless farm.

Below: "I sense a disturbance in the Force," Zoda said.

"Yeah, the farm is in danger," Neva Kee agreed. "And we weren't even the ones responsible for its destruction!"

"Ugh, we must be getting lax by being stuck on this sand heap," Zoda complained bitterly. "Can we leave after this?"

"Yes," Neva Kee confirmed as he made another turn per the rod's movement. "It is definitely time to move on."

"Awesome," said Zoda relieved. Kirby also perked up at this.

"Hey can I-?"

"NO!" came the unanimous response from the front.

"Hmmph," said Kirby crossing his arms, steamed. "Bah humbug!"

But before anyone could respond, the rod glowed a strange fluorescent hue of blue and then…

SPPPLLLLAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHH

The LAV raced through a wall and straight into a giant sea of water, which shorted out the Overthruster and caused the vehicle to finally achieve solid mass.

"Looks like we made it," said Neva Kee unbuckling himself and grabbing the Overthruster and putting it in his pocket.

"I can't believe it worked," Zoda responded impressed at the fact the rod had worked. "Better get ready to get the water to the surface and all across it. However that may be possible."

"Ummm, I don't mean to throw a pun at you, but I have no choice," said Kirby apologetically. "I don't want to rain on your parade, but we're going down!"

The Jedi and the Diplomat spun around and looked in the back as water began pouring in through the rear cargo door.

"Ah, this thing is supposed to be air-tight!" Neva Kee roared in frustration as he raced into the back and began grabbing everything he could to prevent it from sinking as the front of the LAV slowly began lifting up into the air.

"Zoda, cut us out of here!" Neva Kee ordered as a lightsaber was heard igniting. "Kirby, can you absorb the water?"

"Are you crazy, I'm not drinking seawater!" came the incredulous response. "Not after what happened the last time. I am not getting classified as a bio-weapon again on account of those nasty side effects that arose from me drinking that water."

Neva Kee lost his train of thought by remembering the event that had occurred on Mon Calamari before coming to his senses again.

"Then get yourself out of here before you nuke the place," he responded as a circle of metal fell from the roof and Zoda put his lightsaber away.

"Roger wilco, over and out!" said Kirby as he produced a pilot's cap from his gullet, slapped it on and floated off out of the sinking vehicle. Neva Kee then knocked over a box and began pushing supplies onto the roof as Zobba sat passively watching the water flood in ever faster. Zoda stepped in between him and the back door as if debating what to do before turning to face the Hutt.

"Zobba, though I often say that I don't like you, and most of the time I mean it, you have, occasionally, shown me that Hutts are not entirely without merit," the Jedi genuinely revealed. "So, it's been an honor serving with you and I'm sorry you have to go down with the ship. But we will avenge you, I promise."

Zobba was nearly on the verge of tears upon hearing this conversation.

"Oh, thank you, Zoda, that's the nicest thing you've ever said to me!" said the Hutt pleased as he grabbed the unsuspecting Jedi and wrapped him in a giant bear hug. After a couple moments of Zoda being unable to breathe, the Hutt released him. The Jedi found himself gasping for air as he tried to regain his bearings.

"Anyway, thanks for the wave of support, but I can float," the Hutt revealed. Neva Kee and Zoda looked at the Hutt perplexed by that statement.

"WHAT?!" shouted Zoda irate at just now hearing this revelation.

"It's true," the Hutt insisted.

"How?" demanded Zoda.

"You don't wanna know," came the sincere response. Zoda and Neva Kee exchanged quick glances before Zoda blew the roof of the LAV with the Force and the LAV sank to the bottom of the underground ocean. On the surface of the water, Zoda and Neva Kee bobbed up and down as Zobba floated peacefully nearby.

"Water, water, everywhere," Zoda complained bitterly. Yet the cavern was lit from below by some ephemeral source of light that defied explanation. Nearby, Kirby had found an island amongst the sea and was planting his flag on it as the others slowly swam over to him.

"Halt, who dares approach the sovereign nation of Kirby Island?!" the Warp Star Warrior demanded as he stood on the edge of his newfound territory. He didn't even get a response as a Force Push flung him off the island and into the seas beyond. The others got onto the patch of land as Kirby floundered in the waters beyond.

"Help, help, I can't swim!" he sputtered while churning up water. Neva Kee and Zoda ignored him as Zobba debated whether or not to help him. Ultimately, he placed his faith in the two aliens he knew the most and watched with interest as the diplomat placed the various things he'd collected onto the island and then popped open his briefcase that contained a computer inside of it along with various scanning equipment.

"How're things on the surface?" asked Zoda, curious.

"Not good," came the response as the diplomat chucked a sensor into the water. "Based on the temperature of the water, I'd say lava is now covering thirty percent of the surface of the planet and is still pouring out of the ground."

"Those poor people!" said Zobba horrified. "Is there nothing we can do to help?"

Neva Kee and Zoda stared at him dumbfounded at that statement. "What do you think we're risking our lives to do right now?"

Realization dawned on Zobba. "Oh, yeah, I forgot. I usually don't get involved with the actual fixing of the problems. I usually get you two to do it instead."

Zoda's slapped his face with his hand and was about to groan really loudly when a yo-yo wrapped itself around his left leg and he was yanked into the sea. Kirby then dragged himself to the surface of the island and was breathing heavily from his ordeal out there. He did know how to swim, but he rarely found the opportunity to do so, and his inner girth had only expanded greatly since his latest escapades of capitalism, regardless of it not affecting his outer form.

"So what's the plan?" he asked curious. Neva Kee pulled a GPS out of his pocket and flipped it on and began scrolling through various views as he got a view of the planet and the two Dreadnaughts in orbit. He then pressed a couple of buttons on the touch screen and was given the lava coverage and the approximate dimensions of where the underground lake was.

"We have to get this water to the surface and out across the entirety of the planet for a prolonged period of time while simultaneously ripping this planet a new one in order to save the orbit," the diplomat figured.

"Sounds like fun," said Kirby with anticipation. "So how do we pull it off?"

"I'm working on it," the diplomat responded, annoyed at his intrusions into his thought process. Out in the water, it rippled briefly before Treadwell popped to the surface like a piece of cork and bobbed back and forth before displaying a distress beacon.

"Go get him for me, would you?" asked the diplomat as he poured a new mixture into one of his test tubes and gauged the reaction. Kirby harrumphed at him before a Force blast flung him out into the ocean and he did a bellyflop right next to the droid.

Above: Kandor Ito stood shakily on the ground outside of his spaceship as the planet continued to shake heavily and lava shot out of the ground anywhere and everywhere. The ambassador shouldn't have still been on Tatooine, he should've fled the maelstrom and headed for parts unknown, never to be found by the Republic again. But he couldn't leave, he just couldn't. Neva Kee and Zoda, the two banes of his existence were still alive, he just knew it. And as long as they were alive, they still very much stood a change of defeating his master plan. He didn't know how, but he could feel that they were close to thwarting it.

` This is why he had to find out where they were and fast. And it was that, which he was attempting at the moment. But it was not going very well. He had placed a tracer in that garbage heap they called an LAV, but at the moment it was not bouncing back a signal. The only way that should be possible would be if the tracer had either been found…or had shorted out. The first possibility was unlikely, since the two aliens rarely cared if they were being tracked and view it as a further challenge, but the latter…

FFFFWWWOOOOOOOSHHHHHHHHHH!

A loud, but familiar, noise caught his attention and the ambassador turned and saw a cloud of dust headed towards him. Pulling out his macrobinoculars, he looked out at the cloud and noticed it was very narrow in scope as if bearing down on him specifically. Confused by this, Kandor zoomed in and noticed a small dot in the middle of the dust cloud. Zooming in even further what he saw caused his eyes to widen so much that he might not have even needed the binoculars to see what was coming straight at him.

On a flying rocket powered surfboard was Keira Kiley complete with a devil-may-care smile on her face. Kandor knew the young woman from reputation as he had to know everything about his two nemeses Neva Kee and Zoda. A few years back she had unexpectedly rose to the top of that organization after being a mere clerk at one of their facilities by managing to contain the destruction caused by the two aliens on one of their legendary galactic golfing tours.

Realizing she would be up to no good when it came to his plans, Kandor immediately headed for his ship but before he could get there…

CRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAACCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKK…..

THHHHOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMM!

A giant fissure erupted nearby spewing lava high into the air and with it a mass of rocks and boulders; one of which arced through the air and over his head only to land on his spaceship destroying it.

"No…," said Kandor in complete shock at this sudden and completely unexpected turn of events. But he didn't have time to wallow in self-pity. Not with the planet about to be destroyed and someone hot on his trail wanting to arrest him.

The one saving factor in his case was that his Swoop Bike hadn't yet been put away inside the ship and it still sat nearby unharmed, although the lava was starting to get ever closer second by second. Realizing he had no time left, Kandor ran to the bike and fired it up and raced away towards Mos Eisley desperate to catch a ship off the planet to safety.

Far behind, Keira saw the destruction of the ship and the figure fleeing the area. She had no idea if it was whoever she should be chasing, but she figured it was the best option she had in the time remaining. So she kicked the board into overdrive and raced after the fleeing figure.

Deep below the Ground: Neva Kee was still at his portable terminal analyzing various ways to get the water above ground as the entire underground cavern constantly shook heavily from the goings on above.

"Okay, I got it," he confirmed finally as a giant stalactite came crashing down in the reservoir next to them throwing up a burst of water that came crashing down on the group, soaking them. "So our goals are three-fold. We need to stop the lava currently sweeping across Tatooine, get the planet titled properly on its axis, and also get this planet back into its usual orbit around Tatoo I and Tatoo II."

"Gee you make it sound so easy," Kirby said sarcastically before Zoda smacked him in the back of his blobby body.

"It won't be easy but it's not impossible either," Neva told the group as he pressed some buttons on his terminal and a hologram of Tatooine appeared on it. "We need to set off three massive explosions here and here that will then funnel that water straight up to the planet's surface and the resulting combination of vaporized and regular moisture will then cover the planet in rain clouds. The rain will stop the lava and the explosions will right the axis and the orbit, thus solving all of our problems."

"Well I do like big explosions," Zoda confessed.

"Me too," Kirby agreed. "So where are these three explosions supposed to happen?"

"One of them has to be here of course since we need to force the water down here to the surface. The second one is out in the Karaski Drifts on the far side of the planet and the second one is…directly underneath the farm," said the diplomat reluctant to say where the second location was as twin dots appeared on the planet. Kirby and Zoda had no words to say to that revelation.

"Weird," said Zobba finally chiming in. "So how do we cause our explosions?"

"That's the hard part," Neva admitted. "We need explosives that can produce a blast big enough to tear through all the layers of surface above us. We still have the undetonated explosive Kandor tried to blow up that we diffused that will take care of the farm."

"What about here?" asked Zobba next. The ceiling really began shaking and suddenly a large portion of it caved in and a giant ball consisting of homesteads, vaporators, speeders, and other assorted objects came crashing into the water.

"That is," Neva Kee answered. He pulled out a remote and aimed it at the giant trash ball and a beam shot out and turned the ball into a small glowing orb that Zoda then used the Force to bring over to them.

"Is this the thing I fished out of the Sarlacc?" Zoda asked, bewildered as he handled the thing.

"Yes, it's a Katamari ball," Neva explained. "When you sent it rolling it went off on its course and attached itself to anything and everything. Now it'll be like the power of the sun in the palm of your hand. One good supernova is all we need to cause a torrential downpour."

"Okay, that's explosion two, but what about three?" Kirby wondered. The diplomat sighed to himself as he lowered his head.

"That's the problem, we have no third device," he told the group dismayed. "And without it, Tatooine is either going to spin out of control into the void or else spiral inwards and be burned to a crisp by its twin suns."

The group sat silent for several moments before Kirby rose his head with a determined look on his face.

"I know how," he stated firmly. "And I'll get it done too…alone."

The others look at Kirby's statement and his look of conviction with surprise.

"You sure?" asked Neva Kee concerned for his wellbeing.

Kirby nodded his head. "Hey, sometimes you got be the responsible one for a change."

"But not permanently right?" asked Zoda with a grin. Kirby smirked also with a bob his body.

"Never," he promised.

"Thanks," said Neva Kee gratefully. "Zobba, you'll need to do your part to warn the citizens of the planet about what's coming."

"Will do," Zobba affirmed with a nod of his head.

"Hey Neva, I hate to ask, but how are we getting out of here?" asked Zoda pointedly. A wicked smile splayed across the diplomat's face.

"With this," he said cryptically as he pulled out the Oscillation Overthruster and aimed it at the cave ceiling. With an engine roar, a blue and silver y-shaped ship descended through and hovered over the water nearby.

"The ship!" shouted Zoda excitedly. "Hey, now we can-."

"No!" said Neva Kee immediately, knowing Zoda was about to say they could now bail on this planet. "Now, c'mon, let's go."

"Nuts," said Zoda snapping his fingers before following Kirby and Zobba onto the ship as Neva Kee quickly set the Katamari Ball to go supernova and then followed them. The ship then rocketed off into and through the nearby cave wall and on its way to save the world.

High above: Keira Keighly continued chasing Kandor Ito across the sands towards Mos Eisley, both completely unaware of the impending danger that was about to rock Tatooine.
