To fall in love, every little girl's one wish

(dream, hope, fanasty)

The words Happily Ever After, Love Finds A Way and Happiness, Love Brings Happiness come to mind

(lies, all of them lies, told to us by childrens' stories)

Fairy Tales don't tell of the sheer pain that love brings

(princesses painted with crystal tears, too pretty to be real

There are no tales of scars the princess has

(Mirror, Mirror on the wall, who is the most battered of them all?)

(You, mistress, you!)

Where is the tale when the prince leaves?

(Buried deep, so girls will freely give their hearts away)

Where is the tale that the princess grows up in?

(Burned, so girls will never realize what power they have)

Where is the tale when the prince needs to be saved?

(Destroyed, so girls will need protecting.)

Where is the tale of the princess who saves the prince?

(Never been written because that would give girls real honest to goodness hope)

And that would start a revolution

A revolution begins anyway

(Because they are tired of being princesses and wish to be knights in shining armor)

(And because there are no tales)

Ino with her mind

Tenten with her swords

Hinata with her eyes

Sakura with her fists

(strength far greater than a lost prince)

"Time to write a Fairy Tale." laughs Inner Sakura

(Let's show them how it's done)

I don't own Naruto. I do however own this poem despite how crazy it seems to be. I hope you enjoyed it and I love to hear what you think. (hint, hint) Bye!
