Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter.

He sighed as he took a sip of tea. This is how it's been for the past fourteen years. The Co founder of the Marauders reduced to this, Oh Sirius and Remus would have a laugh if they saw this he thought. In the past fourteen years since his death, this all they did. Visit the homes of the dead in the after life.

Whoever thought the after life is fun-has another thing coming.

It's dead boring, and because of their well known deaths, James and Lily Potter were always invited to every social activity that happens in the Afterlife.

He really wished he could do something, to make things a bit more exciting (something along the lines of pranking)but he didn't want to do anything to upset his wife. At least this isn't that boring he thought as he picked up a scone.

The woman sitting in front of him was jabbing on about something or another (he tuned out as soon as she brought out the pictures of her children) he sent a pleading look towards the red-haired woman he oh-so dearly adored. She (who also looked quite troubled at this point) was smiling and nodding at whatever the old woman was saying.

"James, my dear!" he looked up at the plump, gray haired lady, "You look troubled, tell me what's wrong?"

"Oh, it's nothing really Mrs. Strivett, I was just thinking that's all" he answered.

"I know what it is" she smiled knowingly, "You're worried about your son aren't you?"

That wasn't quite true; he wasn't too worried about Harry because he knew that no matter what happens; Sirius and Remus would look after his son. He would've included Peter in there too, if it weren't for the small fact that he betrayed them. But still, as a father, he couldn't help but worry about his only son.

"Well, I never met the boy myself, but I have heard rumors about him, my grandson, who is in Ravenclaw, told me that they had a class together, I forget which it was but, he did tell me some stories about your son" she said her eyes twinkling.

He looked up at Lily and saw that her eyes looked glossy.

He knew that if the old woman said another word, Lily would break down crying.

"Ummm, Mrs. Strivett?" he looked up at her, "We really must be going now"

"Oh, of course of course!" she said, "A lot of people must want to see you, The Great Lily and James Potter!"

In the past fourteen years of their deaths, the only thing James and Lily regretted was the fact that they could never see their son grow.

He took Lily's hand as they walked towards their home.

"What do you think he's doing right now?" Lily asked him.

"He's probably with Sirius and Remus right now, having the time of his life," he reassured.

"I hope they don't corrupt him too much"

"Well, if Sirius corrupts him, Remus is there to un-corrupt him" he said with a smile.

"Yeah" she said softly.

As they walk to their home in Godric's Hollow, they hear bells' ringing.

"Do you hear that?" Lily asked looking anxious "Someone is coming"

He knew the reason she was anxious, she wanted to know if anything happened to anyone they know.

"Don't worry, I'm sure it isn't anyone we know" he said squeezing her hand.

All of a sudden, a blurry, figure erupted in front of them.

"Oh no" cried Lily clutching one hand to her heart.

The figure became clearer and clearer until-

"James?" he heard a familiar voice he didn't here for fourteen years call him.

His heart skipped a beat. It couldn't be.

"Sirius?"
