Me: Heh… this is the sequel I promised… so. How green are Drew's eyes?
Green Eyes
After a well-fought battle the winner of the Blackthorn Ribbon was May. Although Drew had lost… he was glad May won… it was worth it to see her smile and sapphire blue eyes sparkle. He nodded and May and left, a piece of paper falling out of pocket. He didn't realize and he continued to walk.
After May was rewarded her ribbon, she spotted a piece of paper on the floor that hadn't been there before the battle. It must be Drew's. She picked it up and read it:
May's Blue Eyes
The Ocean
Crayons
Bluebells
Sky
Blue Berries
Butterflies
Sapphires
May stared at the piece of paper. Her heart couldn't understand the last sentence.
'Drew loves me.'
'Drew loves me.'
'Drew loves me.'
That's all she thought as she wandered around the Contest Hall. The audience and the contestants had left long ago. May smiled at the piece of paper. She took a pen and a piece of paper from her Fanny Pack and began to write in her neat cursive writing:
Drew's Green Eyes
Grass
Crayons
Rose Stems
His hair
Apples
Flygon
Emeralds.
She dotted her I's with hearts and put a circle around emeralds. She then wrote at the bottom:
May loves Drew too forever and everShe smiled and folded it in half. All she had to do was find Drew.
Drew was sitting outside on the wall, clutching a Rose. He was waiting and waiting and waiting…
"What's taking you so long?" he asked aloud.
"Who?" asked a voice from behind.
He turned around to see May, smiling softly and blushing.
"No one," he lied.
He gave her the rose and she blushed deeper.
"Thank you Drew," she said.
He was about to use the age-old excuse of 'It's for your Beautifly' when she kissed him on the cheek causing him to blush. The sun was setting. He was about to ask what she was doing, when she held a piece of paper in front of his face.
"This is for you… by the way… Sapphires and Emeralds go together nicely," she said mysteriously.
She walked away. Drew stood there dumbfounded. He opened the paper up to find his list.
"Oh… no," Drew said.
Did May read this? It sounded so… stalkerish. What would she say? Just then another piece of paper fell on the floor. He bent down and read it. It was called Drew's Green Eyes. He looked at the list. His eyes were drawn to the bottom line:
May loves Drew too forever and everHe smiled at the retreating figure of May. He touched the spot she kissed gently. He sighed happily.
"Yeah… this is going to be interesting," he laughed.
He went in the opposite direction.
Me: Heh… I guess I should've warned you… my one shots tend to suck so… REVIEW if you like it…
